So I m a young woman and they definitely tried to over charge me when I went to go get my tires. First they tried charging me over $1,000 until I said I wasn t going to go through with it then they said they d drop it down to $800 but I would have to come back for an alignment which would cost me $120. then they tried telling me that I needed a new battery and that it was almost fried basically. I then took my car to a kia lot where I h know people personally. They told me that I did not need an alignment and that it was already taken care of and that my battery was completely fine. Do not come here if you are a young woman like me and look like you know nothing about cars. They will rip you off. Only giving them 2 stars because they mechanic who worked on my car was great. The salesman on the other hand was trying to make commission off of me and I don t take that lightly. I never do reviews but I ve been through this so many times and I ve had enough of it.

I was there today for a oil change, I have never had the treatment there that I had today. The manager was AMAZING he came and explained to me that my tires were in need of a balancing showed me the difference in them then took me back to have me watch how they fix the situation. The employees were also very nice. The waiting room is so much more cleaner than the last time I was there. It was a real pleasure taking my car there.

Took my vehicle here after having concerns about it after getting it inspected somewhere else and they found lots of unfixed issues they are competent and were able to give me a decent price for the work that needs done

Brought me car in for a flat tire. They fixed it . My car immediately started to shake when I drove it away. I brought it back. The employees ADMITTED THE GUY WHO FIXED IT DIDNT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. TWO OF THEM.They said the front axel now needed fixed. I brought it back to them for some dumb reason. Now suddenly it wasn t the front that was the issue, but the back.The host with the white beard refused to answer my question of:1) why they let someone incompetent touch my car and2) why I brought it back for an issue in the front (that was likely caused by the their mechanic) and why the issue magically moved from the front to the backHe kept repeating the same things over and over, refusing to actually answer my questions. He also threw a broken piece of the car at me.Incompetency all around. Run.

Called last week to make an appointment for inspection and to put 4 new tires on. I moved here from out of state so I really needed the inspection done more than anything. Dropped my car off at night and it was done relatively early in the morning. But when I picked it up they said it wasn t written down that I needed an inspection, and they didn t even have an emissions inspector. That would ve been nice to know when we called to make the appointment. Now I m scrambling to find somewhere that will inspect my car today!

So I call these clowns on Monday and they said no way I can get in today but they have time open tomorrow. Ok what time? They say 11am. Boom put me in. .. So I call work and schedule off . Next day I go in at 10:55 and there's this dude sitting behind the counter with a b&m hangin out of his mouth like he's hard or something.. said I'm here for my 11 o'clock appointment. He asks for my name, I tell him and he's Ike nope no name jn here.. hmmm, you sure?? "Yep he said, you called another store". I read the phone number off I called and he said "nope, not us. After some back and forth and some Google searches I asked one more time If he was SURE that wasn't his number and all cocky he Said yep. Alright hoodrat, imma pull your card! Hit send and the whole office filled with the sound of the phone ringing. He's lucky I go to counseling and just as lucky I'm not a fan of being a clown caught on camera!!! But that scared look on your punk face was priceless!!! Consumers do your self a favor and go somewhere else!! Anywhere else!!

Our vehicle broke down while we were out of state and Monro was amazingly quick at ordering our part and doing the repair. We had our vehicle back the next day! We appreciated the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the team at Monro Muffler on Buffalo Rd. and would gladly use them again in the future.

Monroe Muffler on buffalo road is the best place to go for services on your car.As a woman, I felt safe and secure, and the employees took me seriously. They weren't degrading or judgmental (even though my brakes were EMBARASSINGLY past due for a service). They took care of the service I brought my car in for and didn't try to trick me into getting 65 other services. The mechanic who helped me at the front desk was so sweet, and kept asking me if I needed a water or anything while I was waiting.Super great experience, and I am usually scared to death of going to mechanics alone!!

I am ALWAYS insanely pleased, when leaving the Buffalo Rd location! Gary, the manager, is the best! He's incredibly delightful to talk to, and truly cares about his customers. I always go to them for my oil changes, and they always go above and beyond. They always offer the best prices, too! But I'll say this... if it weren't for Gary, the manager, I'd go somewhere else! He's the best! Don't ever get rid of him, Monroe

Called on Sunday Sept 2nd 2018 as a new customer. In a bind since my daughter needed to head on back to college in Cleveland in her car. Josh the manager was the ultimate professional...kind, courteous and attentive to our needs. He assured us that he could diagnose and fix the problem the same day. He gave me an update that afternoon and absolutely kept his word. Her car was ready to be picked up before close with the issue remedied. Josh explained in detail and showed us what he found was the problem. I truly feel Josh went over and above in customer service which is a rare commodity these days. Fortunately it ended up being a minor issue. After an oil change, her car was ready to go. My daughter will be driving back tomorrow morning in a car we feel confident will get her there safely. This experience and the employees involved deserve a 5 star rating and I will not hesitate to share my positive experience and refer friends and family. Top notch business!

I was at the Buffalo Rd location in HarborCreek. They did fix my problem, but the service desk guy Paul, is very verbal abusive to his employees and kept taking my mechanic off from work on my vehicle to look at other people's vehicle and putting air in their tires. I sat there maybe close to 1-2 hrs before I got my vehicle back. Paul didn't even apologize. Not sure if I'll go back.

Josh and team have taken great care of my two older Buicks! Great service and prices for work that is needed! They were able to find a short in my ABS system that my other mechanic missed every time! No more lights on! I trust them and will return every time I am in the area with car issues!

Gary was honest and upfront about expectations on my brake pad replacement. It s better to under promise and over deliver and he did that. He let me know exactly how much was left on my old pads, the condition of my rotors and after looking at the car gave an ETA on the work, and actually had it done a little ahead of schedule. It s hard to find people in the service industry these days that you can trust completely, but I trust him.Thank you Gary!

Stopped in on a Saturday for just an oil change and tire rotation, they said they were too busy but Sunday at any time will be fine. Understandable. I offer to make an appointment and the guy said I don't need to. Show up Sunday afternoon and the SAME guy says "wheres your appointment? I cant fit you in today"

New manager over quoted me on repairs that my car did not need. I had to schedule a week ahead to get my car in and they did take a little long for an inspection, but nothing outrageous. The scheduling and service time was fine, but I feel like the outrageous repair requests may have been a sign that I need to take my business to a more well run service center.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Ever since the new manager Gary took over the place has gone way down hill. They don t take appointments anymore just expect you to leave your car there for days. They messed up on installing a part that had a warranty and still charged labor costs even though it was their fault. Every time I took my car in there was another mysterious issue with it and every time I left the place my car would act up again and have something else wrong with it. Someone doesn t know what they are doing and it shows or maybe it s on purpose. I would steer very clear of this particular Monroe.

If you appreciate something, its important to let others know. I recently had emergency car repairs completed at this short-staffed location and was completely amazed by the amount of customer service provided not only to me as a walk up, but to others who had other problems during my visit. My repairs were lengthy and although strapped, they continued to show true appreciation to all who came in. I understood the occasional interuptions (being a walk up who was from out of country) and although they delayed my repair, Manager Devon and his partner were exceptional in their time management and did update me as the steps for my repair were completed. Their execution, planning and timing made to accomodate appointments and walk ups was impressive. The end result was a great repair (at a great price!) and I only wish I had a similar repair team / customer service in neighbourhood...Highly recommended for any repair near Erie PA.

Took 2 hours for my car to be inspected. Sat in the shop for an hour and noticed 3 mechanics trying to figure out how to change headlights on another car. Guy inspecting my car called someone 3 times about things on my car which was pretty weird. He then failed my car for things that are not failable according to PA.
