My husband and I have been using Tom's Automotive for years! We are very pleased with them. I completely trust Tom, I find him to be a very honest person, pleasant to deal with, very patient, and fair and reasonable in this pricing. I highly recommend this company!

Tom has been my mechanic for decades, he and his staff has serviced all my vehicles since 2005. Tom is a just and honorable family man who lives by principles. He and his staff are the best around and I personally recommend his shop for service. They snapped my muffler in half and didn t say a word! No wonder why they were all sitting together acting weird when I went to pick up my car!On top of that, they quoted me one price over the phone and when I came to pick up my car they told me a higher price. If I didn t pay that extra $40 on top of the $1000 I had to pay, they would ve kept my car until I did!I trusted the reviews, but are they even real?

Toms Auto is the best! Staff is great and knowledgeable. I ve known Tom for years. My dad went to him and now me and my family go to him. Doesn t matter what the problem is, big or small. Always willing to help and explain the problem to you.

Super quick diagnosis that my engine died, didn t waste a minute. Kim was very patient with me in letting me know that they do not replace/rebuild engines and I d have to take my car elsewhere. It was a mistake on my part for not asking before bringing my car here. I ll be back again when I have a car that isn t dead.

Tom's Automotive is the best car repair place I've ever been to. The people there are SUPER nice. They are very accepting of me as a transgender person. I always feel totally safe there. And the repair work they do is stellar and so reasonably priced. They've been able to get me in for various unscheduled things. In short, they're the best! Highly recommended! --Ray

I have been going to Tom's Automotive since the end of last year and this is the best informative repair shop. I seek and found them based on reviews because my car has been at dealerships her entire life and 18 years old wasn't getting better. Tom's go above and beyond to make sure to give a correct diagnosis and resolve the problem. I like that they don't over talk you but meet you right where you are and help you understand. Mechanics take pride in their work. They are good with letting you know estimated repair times and sticking to their word. I had my car towed to them around the holiday's and they were honest about when they could look at it and repair it. Good and honest mechanics are hard to find. This place has consistency in staff, honesty, fair priced and impeccable service. I am thankful for all the reviewers that gave me interest in checking them out. My husband just started using them as well. Thank you Tom's Automotive in Elkins Park for great service and keeping my car healthy. We appreciate you!!!

Tom is very honest and fast. I really love his service. I called last minute and was able to come in and get my car worked on in a timely manner. I will be using Tom for all my car needs and I refer him to everyone I know

Best Mechanics around! Kim was so cordial and nice and Tom is so kind and nice. Hosea the tech who work on my old lil Honda was spectacular. The owner and master mechanic is superb at what goes on there. He and his mechanics are very knowledgeable and fair with their pricing. My family and I have been using their services for over 20 years, and we are extremely happy. I recommend Tom's Automotive to anyone who needs expert auto care.

They are friendly, honest, efficient, skilled and responsive. I wouldn't take our car anywhere else after using their services at least 5 times now. Plus! There's all sorts of cool stuff to look at like the 2 parrots! And the Koi pond just outside. My kid loves it there.

If you need a mechanic to take you car to, go here. The staff communicated very well regarding parts required, labor and cost. They gave a reasonable estimate up front and the final bill was below that amount. They are easy to talk to and efficient. I called for an appointment and they were able to get me in right after and got my car back to me in just over 24 hours (oil change, alignment and part replacement).

They are so nice, well priced, take the time to explain what is going on with your vehicle and what you need to fix, but they dont do it in a pressuring way, more informative and then they allow you to choose the option that works best for you, with no extra "encouragement" on or "pushing" to fix anything else, and the best part is they have gotten every job done so far amazingly fast! Love them, I recommend them to anyone who doesn't have all day to waste just waiting for the phone call from their mechanic and wants to pay a fair price.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment

I need a headlight replaced, called ahead and they were able to see me within the hour. The light was quickly replaced and I was back home in no time. This is the second bulb I've had replaced on the car over the last few months with the same result from Tom's Automotive. Quick turnaround. Tom and Fotus are great guys. They will take care of you. I came in unannounced with a leaky tire late in the day. Even though they had cars they were working on they gave me immediate service, repairing my tire, getting me back on the road quickly.

I had a great experience at Tom s! My car was in and out in the same day, and they kept me updated on everything they were doing. They informed me of issues they came across that do not immediately need to be fixed, but wanted me to know that they could pose a problem in the future. Most repair shops I ve been to will try to fix everything under the sun for additional money, even if it isn t an immediate concern. I will be back to Tom s for any car repairs I need in the future!And the birds in the shop are adorable and talkative!

Tom and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They take the time to diagnose and explain the problem with your vehicle. They go above and beyond to ensure that your vehicle is fixed properly and safe. Tom is honest, reliable and professional. I highly recommend Tom's Automotive for all of your mechanical needs. The best automotive shop you will find!

From start to finish, I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. I read the reviews, but I went without expecting anything after a horrible experience with a national chain of mechanic shops.One of the guys gave me a ride home, I got three new windshield wipers installed for free for my birthday, and I had a bunch of work done for a very reasonable price. Tom's is going to be my only shop and I will be telling everyone I can to go here.Tom and his team didn't just fix up my car; they gave me a new faith in mechanics. I am most impressed with the top level of integrity of this place. If something didn't need to be fixed or replaced, they told me so. Moreover, when I picked up my car, the conversation meandered to the reviews and Tom owned up to the one bad review here without excuses.I'm not promising that everyone will definitely have the overwhelmingly positive experience that I did, but I would bet on it.

It's hard to find a shop where you feel like the techs are super honest, but these guys definitely make you feel like they're looking out for you! I've also never been somewhere & had my mechanic or technician pull me into the garage to show me their concerns. Loved that. Will definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a good mechanic! Thanks!

Over the course of the last 3 years I bombarded Tom with really complex tasks on 3 cars. He is very professional, honest and reasonable. Every time I received fast quality service and frank advice that helped me plan repairs and maintenance on cars. I trust him and his team as my family mechanics.

These guys are great! I've been to Tom's Automotive about 3 times so far and have found Tom and his crew to be extremely efficient, timely, professional, honest, and offer fantastic customer service. Very ethical group of mechanics. Can't recommend them more.

I've been taking my vehicles here since I was 16 years old and never had a problem. If I was stuck they would come out and help me and if my car had to stay over night they would even provide me a ride home. They always go the extra step to make sure you're taken care of. I highly recommend Tom's automotive to anyone always do a good job at a fair price

I have never found a more qualified mechanic in my life! Tom is reliable and honest! His Employee's are all highly qualified! Tom has taken care of my car and my friends cars for years! Would never go any place but to Tom's! Honest, Reasonable and Knowledgeable!

Been there several times. One of our cars is serviced at Tom's for the last three years or maybe a bit longer. I had only positive experience at Tom's. Good atmosphere there, too, although this is certainly a secondary issue.

Awesome place! Took my car there not knowing for sure what was wrong ( and I know a little about cars) it was a weird electrical thing; even after some replacements it acted up later after I took it home and they said return it and they figured it out same day for good prices and they weren't know it all's talking crazy trying sell stuff and services just a straight up honest garage. With the electric/sensor issue they could've tried all kinds of replacements, but they went straight to the issue and fixed just that.
