I really enjoyed learning about the history of Eagles Mere and the museum was well organized. Especially enjoyed learning about the old hotels and how the resort was used by tourists/vacationers during the Victorian era. Also was interested to learn about the private lake at Eagles Mere. I recommend it if you like local history.

What a wonderful step back in time! We were greeted by a kind and knowledgeable woman who shared so much info on the history of Eagles Mere. It was also applicable to what was going on in our country at the time.

We got a tour upstairs of the train display. This layout shows how tourist got to Eagles Mere in the early 1900's.

Eaglesmere stores decided to not fully open until June 15 due to slow spring. Disappointing.
