I will never take my Volvo or any other model car I own anywhere else. Pete, the owner, runs a trustworthy, reliable repair shop and specializes in imports. In the span of 2 weeks I spent over $1,400 at another shop & quite a lot of time stranded while waiting for tow trucks before I finally got recommendations for The Fix. Pete was able to diagnose and fix the problem the same day I had it towed in. I m so grateful I found them & I could not recommend the team at The Fix enough.

I found The Fix randomly through a YouTube video when I coincidentally needed my 100k mi service for my C30 (timing belt, brakes, oil change etc.). Without ever visiting in person before, I exchanged messages with Donna to set up an appointment and was treated like a friend from the start. When you arrive, it s obvious The Fix has a love for Volvos and everything else automotive. Pete greeted me outside and brought me in to show the other cool Volvos they were currently working on. The shop is clean and neat, with a great office that gives off homey feelings. Although I like to get big services like this done at a shop, I am very knowledgeable about my car and know when something isn t right as far as unneeded extra work. Everything The Fix recommended to me was right on par with what I was expecting, no surprises, for a fantastic price. The work was completed in a timely fashion that fit my schedule. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my first experience here, and confident it won t be my last. Thank you to everyone at The Fix Autoworks !!Services: Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

I drove over a hundred miles round trip to have my car serviced at the Fix, I was told by my Volvo dealer in New Jersey to consider getting rid of my 2005 Volvo S60, because so many things needed repair however I wanted to see what the Fix could do for me, I referred by another Volvo guy to the owner at Fix shop. Pete was a true professional, their services are priced fairly, they are hardworking and honest. Very happy with the service.

Brought in a used car for a pre-inspection. They looked it over, and strongly advised me not to buy it. They went over everything wrong with the car: hidden accident damage, wear and tear, oil leaks, similar model history of failures, and more. They then gave me a list of better used car models to consider. They were quick, thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will use them again without hesitation.

Best service and quality in the Tri-State area! Been going to The Fix Autoworks for 5 years and have always been satisfied by their service quality and attention to detail. Pete is transparent, honest and will always do what s best for you and your vehicle. I drive over 20,000 miles a year for work and need to have someone I trust working on my cars. It is hard to find that relationship with a garage in the area, but always confident in their work. Highly recommend working with The Fix Autoworks!!

I feel confident that I can trust The Fix anytime something comes up with my Volvo. As a woman I feel respected and heard anytime I have a question about my car or don t understand something, unlike other repair shops I ve used in the past. Pete, Donna and staff are super friendly and the billing process is super easy to pay from my phone! 10/10 recommend!

I am so glad I found this place ! The Fix was recommended to me by a mechanic friend who insisted they were the best. They really saved me. I needed a full engine replacement for my Volvo C70 and The Fix quoted me the most reasonable rate out of any other shop, had great communication with me, and did an absolutely amazing job in a very timely manner. I am really happy with the service and so thankful. They are trustworthy and reliable and you can tell they re very passionate about the work they do. I won t be taking my Volvo anywhere else but The Fix from now on, and I d gladly recommend them to anyone.Service: Engine repair

Wow wow wow wow wow!This is a 10 star review!I found my new mechanic!Please read below Pete said he would take a look at an issue I had with my honda accord.Other mechanics turn away what they fixed!!!!They fixed my car in less than 24hrs!Pete and the gang at The Fix Autoworks Inc. even put air in my tires, which had nothing to do with the issues I came in for lol!The car drives so much straighter now too . That had nothing to do with the problem either!!!It was having an issue starting lol They fixed what the dealership broke and 2 mechanics turned it away. Another mechanic said they couldn t fix the issue and had to replace a very expensive part.A friend recommended them and im so glad they did.They went above and beyond for me and my car lol. Unbelievable Service and Pete is the most trust worthy guy. Had a full engine Swap and his work was fantastic. I have an old volvo 940 turbo and it's nice to know that there is someone around the corner that knows my car inside and out. I brought my 2011 Mercedes in for service. Pete reached out and explained my car's frame was rusting and not safe to drive. Thankfully the issue was taken care of and all is good. Fantastic shop. I have a '04 Volvo s60R and drove from NJ to come to this shop. Pete knows what he's doing and has some great former Volvo mechanics working at the shop. Was lucky enough to discover The Fix prior to acquiring my Saab convertible. Pete was a kind enough to look the vehicle over before purchasing it. As a result I have fantastic shop and friend to confidently take my sweet ride for maintenance and repairs. I'd been looking for a non-dealer Volvo mechanic for years. Found "The Fix" about a year ago. The Fix knows Volvo's inside and out. They diagnosed a problem that the dealer had missed for years in one visit. They do excellent work with a friendly smile and fair prices. This is the only place where I take all of our cars. Pete is knowledgeable, gets things done quickly, and is extremely reasonably priced. The Fix did an excellent job of maintaining my VW Rabbit and diagnosing what was wrong when my car gave me error messages when the dealership was unable to do so. At one point, I got an error message because something was wrong with how my passenger seatbelt was fitting into the receiver. This was one of the problems that the dealership couldn't figure out, but The Fix did. Anyway, The Fix delivers excellent service and workmanship at a very fair price.
