My personal experience with Anderhart Speed has been nothing but positive. John has not let me down since I brought my stalled project to him last year. His communication has been stellar. His work ethic and work results are top notch. He has great ideas and thinks outside the box. If your looking for a shop to help you with a project or to just freshen up your car or truck I recommend Anderhart Speed. My current project will certainly not be the last I bring to John.Update on 05/15/20My wife and I were returning from a drive by parade honoring a Vietnam Vet who resided in Newtown, Pa. On the way home my Chevelle started running a little rough then stalled a few times. I was able to get the car to a safe location off the road. I did not have the correct tools to diagnose the issue. I contacted John since I was close to his shop and asked him if I could get the car to his shop if he could help me out. Without hesitation John immediately told me to come by. We were able to make it over and John and Jeff stopped what they were doing to see what was going. After only a couple minutes of seeing what was going on John was able to help me get me back on the road. Other than myself John knows my car inside and out. I am truly appreciative of both John and Jeff of helping me on a Friday afternoon. Class Act. And also to mention Jeff is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.Thanks Again guys.Bill

John was able to look over my car, diagnose the problems, get them fixed, and even went above and beyond that to fix an additional item. Furthermore, he is giving me advice on how to do a proper race build on my car. He is quick and thoughtful in his text responses, and he is an absolute professional. Best in the business!

John is incredible. He truly cares about the work he does, the quality of it, and that his clients are satisfied with the end result. I brought my 67 chevy in for some exhaust work and even with a smaller job like that, John gave it his all and I saw it immediately in his work and the way he talked about the job. He's great with communication, keeps you in the loop the whole time, and always makes sure to get your input when theres multiple options available during your project. He treats every clients car as if it were his own. You could argue that any auto shop can do this or do that, but if you're going to have something done then have it done by the best. That's John. Anderhart Speed is the best place to go and I won't even consider taking my car anywhere else. I already have a list of more work I want done in my car and it's got his name all over it.

I wish I could say I had a positive experience with John but it was not. I contacted John through a mutual friend back in Nov 2017 about getting my car back on the road after being garaged for 8 years. This was by no means a full blown rehab. We needed the car back on the road to let my son drive it to his prom in the spring of 2018. I was told Jan 2018 the car would be taken over to Johns shop. Feb, March & April came and went. John and I spoke over those months a few times. He even asked for my email address to send some ideas he had for my car after receiving pictures he requested. That was 8 weeks ago no email. Over the course of this 4 - 6 month span he was waiting for parts on another car so mine could get moved into the shop. April 17th 2018 10 days before I need the car I get a phone call still waiting on parts for the another car. We missed the date and John was still blaming it on the parts for the other car. Not once did he take ownership and say I am really sorry for stringing you along all this time. To anyone considering using John be very careful and get any dates from him in writing. I would also caution people if he estimates 6 months you should plan a year or longer regardless if its a simple project. Unfortunately I trusted him and found out the hard way. I hope others can learn from the mistake I made.

Anderhart speed is great! Such a great experience. John kept me in the loop the entire time and made sure everything was perfect. The job was done in a timely manner and not rushed. He is going places with his talents. Looking forward to him working on another project in the future!

I couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else. The absolute attention to detail, quality of the work, fun atmosphere of the shop and knowledge the owner possess is truly incredible. I can't wait to visit again.
