This repair shop is owned by two brothers that KNOW automobiles!This is the second time I have taken my car here to have it serviced and I have not been disappointed either time.They were able to diagnose the issue I was having with my car not starting. They made me aware of a nother potential problem with my serpentine belt slipping. I would have never known about the belt issue had I just gone & bought a new battery on my own. I'm glad they went the extra step to fully diagnose the initial issue I was having with the car not starting. I plan on taking my car here for any future issues I may have as well as for routine maintenance (oil changes etc). I am a strong supporter of small businesses & this is one business I highly recommend for your auto needs!

Owned by 2 very nice/good brothers & been going to them ever since I bought my 1RST car ! Mind u idk too much about cars and they are aware , and never took advantage of me beings as though I m a female & don t have too much knowledge on cars (my car at that. My engine light came on one time and they fixed the problem right away and explained to me what it was and broke it down into the easiest terms and my engine light went off and never been on since . I never had a problem with my car going to them for my routine oil changes etc etc , I m always in & out .I recommend them and send all my folks to them. They are truly good brothers/people. You can trust them .

I was amazed with the experience I had with Pickett's Auto. I was leaving for work, when I noticed I had a flat tire. I had a friend pick me up to get to work, then called Pickett's. They drove to my house to plug my tire while I was at work. That was the first experience I had with them. Recently, my check engine light went on. They took my car right away. Explained the situation to me and fixed the problem. Their pricing was more than fair. I will always take my car to this shop. Such great people!!!!!

These guys are my go to guys for everything! Many years of experience and that s what is needed when it comes to my personal car and my work vehicles. First the address to this location is wrong it is 24 S MacDade Blvd. I recently brought 3 free oil change deal through AmazonLocal. On Thursday 9/18/2014 I called Picketts to schedule an appointment, a man told me to arrive 8am on Saturday 9/20/14. The date and time was perfect for me so I accepted. Then the man began to tell me I had to leave my car at the location until at least 12:00noon. I replied I do not have a way home so I must wait for the service to be completed at which pointed he replied "I just don't work like that. I don't work like that. Your going to have to leave your car and come pick it up later in the day." I still said I have no way home the car the was doing the oil change on was my ONLY TRANSPORTATION. It struck me as strange who takes 4+hours to perform an oil change. So he eventually said ok and I hung up. Fast forward to Saturday I am on my way to the location but I get lost I've never driven out there before so I called the company. My GPS had the wrong address so I corrected it but before I could hang up the man asked me "Do you have the free oil change coupon?" I said "yes." he replied "Oh. We pulled out of the deal yesterday so we won't be able to do a free oil change its going to cost $30" So at this point I was pissed because I caught the fact that it was a total scam. I call on Thursday to schedule company says yes, Friday they pull out of deal, Saturday I am notified I can't receive what I already paid for! I'm sure what really is going on these people may be taking parts off of unsuspecting individuals who agree to leave cars behind. Or damaging cars I'm not sure but because I refused to leave my car they clearly didn't like that and would not perform the service. Its cool Amazon gave me my money back and I will be contacting the BBB and posting about this shady business any chance I get.SO BEWARE PEOPLE YOU MAY GO FOR A SMALL SERVICE AND THEY MAY LEAVE YOU WITH A LEMON!!!!!! I don't know what they are doing but its a shady place.

Did great work on the car. They tell you straight up what you need. They dont try to rip you off like other chain car dealers. I definitely will be going back

I know for a fact that the place is a scam previous person who posted was right i scheduled tthe same thing quick oil change i usually do it my self but was too busy at the time. I could of boight oil a filter and did the job myself for 20$ takes about 20 mins with correct tools. These guys told me to leave my brand new truck and pick it up in 4 hours. They had no other cars on the lot infront me, i know a little thing or two about fixing any problems with vehicles. . I witnessed a man pulling a passenger side air bag out of a newer Nissan maxima, no damage has been done. I knew that they were up to something. I told the guy ill give him an extra 20$ to do it now why I wait he said no i said why is that airbag gonna take all day. He literally told me to leave. I reported them yet. But do not leave your car here ever!

Every time I go here I'm quoted a price I give them my car and I get my car back and I'm out. No extra stuff no hidden fees so if I don't go to the dealership I'm definitely here....thanks guys!

Misdiagnosed my car, charged me $400 for reason I still don t understand, one day later car problem is worse and they say they don t know why. No refund. Either taking advantage because I m female or other reasons.

PICKETT'S Automotive was recommended in 1998. Was satisfied then. Still is to this day. When a problem arise, that's where I go no matter how great or small. An honest business.

i wish i could give a 0 star..that place is a joke.i have a rav4 08 thats the only place i have always got my oil change done,then suddenly i start noticing and oil leak,so i bring it back they badly fix it because it was still leaking when i go back again the guy told me i have to pay 400$ to fix it while they are the one who mess it..most the the shop they mess up ppl car so they can make money..

They are HORRIBLE . Bad customer service . The boss or manager , whoever was there was completely rude & condescending . Bad attitude . Paid way too much money to not still have problems with my car !

I went to there just to have my car battery charged, I only brought the battery, When I returned he was billimg me for things he claimed he did to it, All I ask him to do was to charge it, This was about 10 years ago & I never even bought gas from him, The pumps are permanently closed,
