I love this garage! I have taken my car to places that treat me like I don t even know what a screw is and that I have no idea what I m talking about, but the guys here have been nothing but kind and they don t talk down to you. They help you in anyway they can and discuss every little detail with you so that there are no surprises. A few years back I took my car somewhere to get inspected and got screwed. S.16th st garage was then recommended to me and I brought my car there. Found out that all of the things the previous garage told me was wrong with my car wasn t true. The guys here saved me from spending $900 that I didn t need to.I will never take my car anywhere else unless I have no choice. They are honest and their prices are great!

I had reached out to a specific local garage that doesn t take appointments only walk ins & they didn t have stickers when I walked in and it was the last day of the month. (Not garages fault - my poor time management)With very short notice South 16th Street took me first thing in the AM! They gave me clear instructions what I d need in the near future (brakes/tires). They charged me less than other shop would have. I am grateful they took me when many places require appointments and they are pushed out weeks ahead. They were kind, informative & timely for being 8AM. THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME INSPECTED. I ll return!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

My mother-in-law recommended this garage because they had helped her in the past with an emergency and did a fantastic job. This time, I was in desperate need of an inspection and oil change. Well, they definitely delivered. I think this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a body shop. They were super friendly and knew their stuff. They diagnosed the issue and then fixed it in a timely manner. The price was way below what I expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Front desk office lady is wonderful to deal with. She makes scheduling appointments easy and explains the cost very thoroughly. The owner Dave is a great guy and his mechanic Tim is fantastic. He should get a raise.

Had check engine light come on. Took it over to scan and tell me issue give me a estimate and order part. I had a few things that I had to accomplish that day. Went back 90 min later, I sat in the waiting for half an hour and they told me it was finished. Had no problem since. Great job plus reasonable cost.

I have found the guys at South 16th street to be fair and honest. I don't feel like I am being taken advantage of, like I have at other garages. I highly recommend them.Update: Just had my Toyota Sienna in for what I guessed was leaking transmission fluid. Dan called me up and said they found the leak coming from the water pump and had already called Toyota to check on a warranty coverage. Rather than try to grab 8 hours of labor costs for themselves they took the extra step to check and save me a huge headache by suggesting I call my local Toyota dealer. Very classy move that has ensured I will be back for all my non-warranty covered needs.

Ive been coming here for a long time (10+ years). Its the only garage where the bill doesn't shock me. You won't find a more honest shop than this place. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, the guy I dealt with on the phone and the mechanics are great.

Great service, decent prices. Pretty busy at certain times due to inspections but once your car is in there, they try to get it back as quickly as they can.

Dave & Boomer plus the crew did a great job on my 4runner new lift suspension kit bushings big breaks inspection it looks great drives even better thanks A+ been using them for all my crazy ideas they know their stuff

I had been taking my car to a garage about 20 minutes away from our home which was fine before a became a mother. Now that I have a little one, and work full time, I just don't have 40 minutes of drive time to spare driving to and from a garage anymore. I googled garages local to us and South 16th Street Garage had great reviews, both on FB and Google. They're right around the corner from our home and I decided to give them a call the other day to schedule a state inspection & oil change. They were extremely professional, scheduled me within the week, took great care of my car and were clear on what services they were performing. We even had major snow yesterday and they were thoughtful enough to park my car closest to the road so it was easy for me to get out. Thank you South 16th Street Garage! You are now my local go to, we will be back!

The entire staff is very knowledgeable and polite!!!!! The prices are very reasonable and they are not out to rip people off. Overall very good place to get any work done on your vehicle

The only garage I will let touch my vechile. Knowledgeable in every aspect. Honest and prices are affordable. Family owned and operated. Straight forward not out to take advantage of someone that may be unknowledgle of automoblies.

I spent over $1,000 chasing Wrangler gremlins at a "diagnostics" shop, formerly near Denver, PA, that had been in business for decades, and was referred to me by my mechanic. It took 16th street a $25 bill to find the issue. You can't make this stuff up. 16th Street Garage are next level. Beer is on me guys. Thanks to Chris's Auto body shop for the referral (Chris's is solid and will soon to move to Amosite road, Elizabethtown if you need work or restoration).

I wouldn't even give them 1 star! Everyone i know they will jew you down, and tell you this that and this is broken. So you spend money! Go to 7th street and see chris! Good thing he walked away cursing!

Too expensive with their parts and labor wages. Heard a lot of bad reviews about them as well. Went and got my estimate and car fixed somewhere else
