I had such a great experience. Arriving with no warning and a flat tire I was expecting some wait. Johnny took the car right in and helped me pick our best options. He explained the options without the condescending tone your average woman can expect at such places. Got out of there super fast, and went back for the other 3 tires a day later. We ll definitely keep our business with these guys

I had the best experience with Omar he was very nice and kind to me. I was able to get in and out fast with getting my tires rotated and oil changed l. I would highly recommend going to have him help out.

I must say, the experience was excellent. I got it done at Mavis discount tire, located on 5300 Baltimore pike. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and professional.They greeted me with much respect.The quality of service I received was top-notch. The technicians were knowledgeable and took the time to explain the entire process to me. They used state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring accurate results.Each staff had their own equipment and it was well organized in the building as well.What impressed me the most was their attention to detail. I don t usually leave reviews due to my high expectations and mediocre experiences; however I just had to this time around. My granddaughter advised me to come here due to her pleasant experience and I m glad I did. As an elder, many people try to take advantage but this location did not . I even had my grandson on the phone and he agreed that the prices were great and everything that was explained was authentic. The team was very welcoming, nice and patient with me. I recommend this location to anyone .

I will never go back to Mavis discount tiers on Baltimore. Pike Philadelphia Johnny is the worst customer service. person ever has no idea what he's doing. Johnny had the nerve to get an attitude with me. Because I bought my car back several times because of the bad break job they did on my car. This has been an ongoing issue for weeks and was never fixed each time I bought my car back in. Mavis discount tires lost me as a customer

I continue to be impressed with the level of hospitality, accommodation and customer service this Mavis Tire location provides to their customers. I really appreciate the service rendered from Manager Rashaud and Mechanic John, what gems they are to Mavis as they exemplify outstanding representation of the brand. I have mad this my go-to location.P.S, they have a free air pump that is super convenient as Wawa is not always reliable, they are!

Had multiple problems with my truck and Nick the mechanic did a absolute phenomenal job at a very reasonable price. I will be using them from now on I trust it will be done correctly the first time and have recommended them to quite a few friends... awesome experience with great service exactly what I was looking for.

Went to this store site for rebalancing of all 4 tires. They hooked me up. Also changed both my blinkers at no cost. Johnny and Rashaud were awesome super nice and pleasant. I recommend this location and ask for either of these gentlemen. Would go again.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing staff at Mavis discount tire (Clifton heights location). From the moment I walked in I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy which doesn t typically happen to most women in a male dominated industry. The team truly listened to each and every concern I had and went above and beyond to not only address my concerns but ensure I was 100% satisfied with the service I was being provided. This team delivered on every level from professionalism to pricing and even timeliness. The staff appropriately escalated my concerns to the manager level in order to ensure I was being treated with the utmost fairness and appropriate measures were taken to remedy every single issue I was having with my vehicle. For the first time in a long time I truly enjoy driving my vehicle knowing it is running in the best possible shape thanks to this team! I will forever be grateful for the experience provided and have become a lifetime customer! Dave, Johnny, Sunny, Rashaud and everyone else who took the time to help me I sincerely thank you! Long story short. There was a discrepancy over the amount of two tires. Either I heard wrong or I was told a different price than I was asked to pay. Nonetheless, I was able to find the tires for a cheaper price and requested a price match, as the sign inside the building says they do. Dave, the store manager immediately had an attitude and asked me why would I price match my own tires? . I then asked if they were Mavis in house tires and he said no. He just does not know if anywhere else that sells those tires. I showed him the price on Amazon plus the $15.99 install. Dave then price matches the tires and adds extra items on the bill and stated they are mandatory.After that we decided to get customer service and the regional manager involved. The regional manager gave a price and stated it was the best he could do. I said fine.As I waited for the regional manager to call. I was verbally abused and insulted by one of the technicians. He came out and asked why I was still there and why I was arguing over the price of the tires. He then proceed to say I was broke and I should have said I wanted free tires when I walked in. I told him I don t have a problem with the price. I was simply trying to have them honor their price matching sign.Days later, I followed up with the regional manager and he informed me that he did not hear the verbal abuse on the store recording and that he will handle the rest in house and nothing else can and will be done.

Mr. Johnny is awesome. He s helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. First time I came, I was having serious back pain, he walked me to my car, opened the door and helped me in. When I came back he was just as friendly not just to me but every customer that came in after me. He s a true asset to the company.

Sunday -- driving kids to practice - tire pressure light comes on, nail in tire. Called a few places - need it to be close to where practice was. Called Mavis - Johnny answered on the 2nd ring. Not rushed, listened to what I might need ---said they can do a tire repair today (on a Sunday), and to come by when we could. Stopped after practice, place was busy, and didn't wait even 5 minutes. Said we called and talked to Johnny (who was actually the person we were talking to) --- he walked outside with the "repair tools" -- like a magician, fixed it in minutes - checked/added air, and had us on our way. I will be posting this on my Facebook page as I will go nowhere else for any tire needs/repairs. Thank you Johnny!

First time I used car service at this place. Rashid and Johnny were very efficient and helpful. Their mechanics repaired my tires and brakes. I had to wait a long time for the brake parts to come in. The waiting area is clean and spacious with cable TV and WiFi. It is at a good location within a shopping area. I am satisfied with their service on my car and definitely will come back.

I went to Mavis against my better judgement on Monday morning mind you at the Baltimore Pike location thinking it might be better here since I had a bad experience 2 years ago at the Glenolden location. At first it was ok. Walked up the guy Phill(pretty ok guy)was on the phone at least I think that s his name. He was first a little over whelmed with the calls but I waited patiently. His boss rather the manager came out ask if I needed help I said I had a reservation gave him my name referenced the call I had with customer service. (Absolutely pissed about that as well). Stated they mentioned that you guys have payment plan right advised they had 2 FlexShopper payment plan and the Mavis credit card. I said ok I ll do the payment plan cuz I really didn t want another credit card. Mind u i initially planned on 2 tires but since the plan was avail I opted to 4 all four tires. First they gave me a different quote than what the Cust Serv guy Pat is his name told me. I said nope that s not what I was quoted. Manager made an adjustment that absolutely was not what he made it out to be. Anywho, I was told to pass my keys and to fill out the Application for which I had to go to behind their counter to do. Filled it out got approved for 1500 then was told ok I can sit down. This was 9:30am to 10am. Sat down waiting but watched a movie in their cold waiting area but still it wasn t too bad. When my car was done around 12:30 I was told I needed to come and take a picture of the invoice on their computer (absolutely weird) again behind the counter and send it to the Flextire ppl who would be paying for the work done so that they can send me a temp digital card that they can use to process the payment. That was a whole process by itself. First I had to wait for sum1 2 get the invoice I emailed so they can then send me the agreement in which on this agreement there was something referenced about me having to pay twice the cost of my service if I don t pay off the loan in 90 days, which is absolutely ridiculous considering that the payment plan that is offered takes too well past that 90 day time frame. At this point I had no other choice to back out because they worked on my car without explaining the basics on how this actually works. Imaging my surprise when I also after already signing the document that they also charge a $50 application fee. I was asking why didn t anyone tell me this they said they emailed it and also had it on the agreement. When I checked my email they indeed did send me that 50 notation but in a separate email that came in my junk folder. I said y didn t u guys tell me this b4 hand. I planned to only spend 360 for my 2 tires but because I was informed that they had a payment plan I opted to get it over and done with. Had I know that that 360was going to become 712 I would have just gotten my 2 tires and went about my day. The manager Dave I think his name is stated that he had no idea and that he processes applications all the time and he never new. I was like that is something you should know ur running this place. Then he said he sometimes does two applications for one customer and the ppl at Flextire financing stated that every app is 50 bucks and one app has a limit so they had to process a 2nd apps for the difference. So u mean to tell me however long this manager has been working there and processing apps for customers to do a loan he had no idea. Make it make sense. Not I m still there and it after 1:30pm. This whole process was so nauseating and infuriating. To top it off there is no postings or poster fliers lists nothing saying that have these two services(Mavis credit card/FlexShop) Absolutely poor customer service unacceptable then after I left I came back I had to tell them I m supposed to get a mail in rebate on the tires for which I only got a mail in rebate for $50 when Pat the customer service agent I spoke to b4 I went there told me I would get a 100 mail in rebate. After leaving there I had the biggest headache the entire rest of the day. Mavis needs to do better. Would not Recommend

5 Stars! I came in with an issue on my car and Rashaud explained everything to me perfectly from beginning to end. He was very efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. Car repair shops usually try to take advantage of women, but in this case all of my issues were valid and my problems were solved. Thank you!

The crew at the Mavis Discount tire place on 5300 Baltimore Pike in Clifton heights did a great job repairing my 2016 Jeep Patriot yesterday. After they did a complete once over of my Jeep , they what I needed to have done and how long it was going to take. They were going make sure all repairs would be done and my jeep would be fine for a trip out the state. Mr Rashad and his crew got my Jeep done in goodtime , and they even worked on making all their hard work on my jeep affordable when it came to paying for the repairs to my jeep. After I left their shop , my jeep drove much better and I was very happy with the work of Mr. Rashad and the crew. Again I like to thank you all for the work you all put in to get me up and running. Your hard work and professionalism was great and we make me a repeat you cutomer.Thank you ,Billyjr.

Scammers. They ll say anything for a dollar especially if you re a female. Lied and told me my car needed $2k in work. Control arms, tie rods, and brand new tires took it to somebody else and he said it was absolutely nothing wrong the control arms or tie rods but I did need new shocks in the back

Went in this morning after finding a tire completely flat. Johnny helped me out and got me in and out in under 30 minutes. Reasonable prices and good service.
