Received a membership coupon for winterization service a few weeks ago- tire rotation, oil change, fluid check and new wipers for about $65. Very efficient service with open communication with the clerks and mechanics. Although I waited in person, it wasn t super long (in the morning, at least). I ll come back again for more service in the future. Thanks!

I have used this AAA location over the past 20 years off and on, and have been pretty happy with their services. However, this year during an annual inspection of my 2012 Chrysler with 95K miles on it, the technician failed it for "leaking struts". They mentioned the same thing when I had some fluids changed there six months ago. I was highly suspicious. The car rides like a dream and does not bounce, and I never saw any leakage when I rotate my tires. I noticed there was no one else in the waiting room that day, and they immediately gave me a quote of $1000 for new struts...so I began to get suspicious they were just looking for work. I mentioned that I was selling the car this year, and didn't want to put any big money into it. I also knew that leaking struts was a judgment call on the technicians part. The technician said to my face they were leaking and that he couldn't pass it. I did not want aftermarket struts on my car, so I left with just an emissions sticker. When I got home, I jacked up the front end and took pictures of the struts, and sent them to David Dodge Chrysler Jeep on route 202 for my favorite technician there to look at. He got back to me, saying that from the pictures they look good, but I need to bring it into them and they'll inspect the car to see if they're safe. I did, and he confirmed they were safe and not leaking, and I got the inspection sticker. I'm disappointed in AAA, and I'll probably never go back to them for any kind of service on my car again.

This location has a penndot photo center that I used to renew my driver's license. The service at AAA was streamlined and professional. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. It wasn't as busy as I suspected it to be (3pm weekday), but I still was there for about an hour from start to finish (there were about 6 people ahead of me for a renewal). If you are or aren't a AAA member I highly recommend using the penndot photo center here.

A few weeks ago your driver left me in an unsafe situation with the temp dropping. It was a KEY problem with that battery not the car one.It is made for this weather. The KEY was the problem. The locksmith knew I would be coming.a fter AAA The crazy white lady did not help.He should have been calling for backup. I, willbe reporting this to BBB and the State. That driver needs to be let go.He had other calls. He still had me. The key company that was waiting..I, am a senior citizen...HE just left. In this weather?.. They were stunned. They, found a driver who could fix the problem. They got the idea. YOU did not. Left without heat, is not safe...I, have a Jeep Grand Cherokee .. made for this stuff. not if I can't start it. .THE KEY IS THE PROBLE M....that battery not the car one....You, will be hearing more.

Got my car towed here a few weeks ago and after keeping it for about 3 days, they diagnosed it as the transmission and told me it needed to be replaced entirely. I knew it wasn t that so I got it towed to an independent shop for a second opinion and it was the front axles. I got my car back the next day and no transmission replacement was needed. They didn t even actually look at the car. Wouldn t recommend this place to anyone they don t care about their customer.

Attended the Penn Dot there. It was nice.Years ago, I came there for auto service, and I had a hoodie on. The service tech was rude because I had a hoodie on. Mind you, i had been working with this man all morning via my car repair. A person shouldn't be mistreated because of wearing a hoodie, especially if they're recently transplanted and trying to protect their own health. Which was my situation. I certainly could've approached this idiot legally, but he wasn't worth it. I miss the service team guy who was always kind and service oriented. I started taking my car to unnamed auto places because of this profile was exprience.

Came at 4 to renew license, man decides to lie and leave work early and not let me renew my license. Phone line says that close at 4:30, he was out the door by 4:07. Completely ignorant man. If you dont like work, go be broke on someone elses time

I went to Triple A to get a new license photo. Overall it was pretty quick to get the whole process completed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a bit pricey but hey, that s most of society today. Haha

Addendum: 2nd visit was a totally different experience. I was immediately greeted by a nice gentleman and Jeremy in the photo center was polite and professional.I'll add a star.Posted hours don't include license photo times. I got there 20 minutes prior to cut off and the clerk said she would wait if it didn't take long. I was ready 3 minutes after and she was long gone. C You Next Tuesday

I came there because my car was leaking. They was short staff. So the time was longer than expected. But I understood that. The team was awesome.

A tale of two garages:THE GOOD: great phone intake, courteous mechanic rep (Casper or Kaspar); reps seemed pretty straightforward and professional. Replaced all 4 of my tires the next day and called to say my car was ready for pickup.THE BAD: such a poor processing setup that I wouldn't go back or recommend it. I walked into a big, almost-empty AAA center with three women staffing the welcome desk. There were multiple, other employees doing nothing at other desks. To make a long story short, the welcomers said that they couldn't swipe my credit card or give me my key; I had to work with Mark, who was about to begin intake with a customer whose car had been towed with a flat tire.Mark didn't even acknowledge my presence. After talking about tire replacement options with the only other customer in the entire place, Mark said that his mechanics would have to check whether they had a matching tire. Instead of just calling to one of them, Mark left the desk himself and was gone...and gone... and gone. After 10 more minutes of waiting I asked one of the three employees who were on their cell phones if one of them could just ring up my credit card and hand me my key. No, they couldn't do that, only Mark could. One of them told me that "patience is a virtue." How zen. I went back to the line and waited some more.Mark came back to the desk after 10-15 minutes and resumed his genial discussion of tire options with the person ahead of me. He still didn't acknowledge my presence until, after about 20 minutes total, I stared at him for so long that he looked up. He proceeded to hold my gaze and very slowly raise his index finger. The universal "one moment," signal, with a bit of passive aggression for good measure. When finally it was my turn, I very civilly mentioned to Mark that I'd been waiting for 30 minutes. He would have none of it. He was courteous at first, almost philosophical, but wouldn't acknowledge that there'd been a problem. I said, hey, you seem like a nice guy, maybe the problem is AAA's. Maybe they're not staffing enough people. I just wanted to know whether Mark agreed that there WAS a problem-- whether, if he'd been in my shoes, he would see it as business as usual, or whether he might think that someone else should have been taking my credit card. Should AAA create a different system? He just wouldn't address it. Starting to get a bit snide, he said, "it's a matter of having common sense, Ben. If I go into a restaurant and see that it's really busy, people zipping by all around me, I know in advance that I'm gonna be waiting and I don't mind."AHA, I said, but here it's NOT busy at ALL! You've had two customers for the past 30 minutes, and there were probably 5 other desk employees sitting around doing nothing! And 2 other mechanics stopped by the front desk during that time!He shook his head and said, "no one else here can do what I do."That was right before he had me swipe my credit card, sign my name, and handed me my key. Yes, surely no one else could do THOSE things. Then he denied my entire premise-- said I couldn't have been waiting for 30 minutes because he hadn't been away from his desk for that long. I said, Ah, but Mark, I texted someone 5 minutes after I came in to say that I'd been waiting, and and you can see the time stamp. 30 minutes total! He just pursed his lips and said, "well, let's get your things together and get you out of here, Ben."Then he said, voice dripping with sarcasm, "it's a busy day with a lot of things going on, and I'm sorry that that inconvenienced you, Ben."Again: one other customer in the place, and multiple employees sitting around doing nothing. But he wanted me to know it was the busy DAY that inconvenienced me.I feel badly about all this, b/c Casper was very courteous and professional when doing my intake, and Mark too was courteous and professional with the person ahead of me. AAA did the necessary work for me. They're just working in a terrible system. (And Mark could learn a thing or two about putting himself in someone else's shoes.)Service: Tires

I went to this location on 10/16/2022 because I had water in the back doors of my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle had no drain plug therefore. the water couldn't be drained. On my way to my vehicle one of the technicians came up to me and informed me that he had a friend who could drain the water for me and gave me the friend's number. I then got in my vehicle and called one of my friends and he told me don't call the person that I was referred to because my car does have a drain plug. He came to my house and showed me the drain plug and drained the water from the doors in my vehicle. On Saturday June 3, 2023, I went to this same location for a car inspection. I was told that my vehicle passed the emission inspection however it didn't pass the other inspection because my third break light wasn't working. Therefore, if I wanted my vehicle to pass the other inspection, I had to get it fixed. When I asked how much it would cost, I was told that it would cost over $200, 00 for the part and roughly $150.00 for the labor. I requested that he give me my keys and I would go elsewhere to get the third break light installed. While waiting for my vehicle keys I decided to go onto Amazon's Website to look for the part. I found the part for $21.99. I then asked the clerk was it the brake light I needed repaired to pass the inspection. He said yes. I then ordered the part and it came on Sunday, June 4, 2023. I read the instructions and got my power drill and installed the part in six minutes.I shared my story of Social Media and there are others who experienced the same thing I did. Women, if you need your car repaired and decide to go to this location. please take a male with you so you don't get mislead or over charged!

This is the 2nd time my daughter brought her car in on a day they suggested, took off work, and they never even looked at her car. Horrible experience, what a waste of time.

Zero stars would be better. Our car unexpectedly broke down and AAA towed to this location. We have been members for years and years, which apparently means nothing. They took three days to even look at our car, then called to say their computer couldn't diagnose it and we had to tow it elsewhere. Despite the fact we are members and it is their fault they can't figure it out, they're now charging us over $100 for the tow. Clearly this membership is just a money grab because it doesn't actually help us at all except setting back our ability to get our car fixed half a week.

***PLEASE GIVE TO OWNER***Myself and my daughter went to the Clifton heights location to get my picture taken for my license. I live in Upper Darby, which is not too far. But we don t have a car and both of us are handicapped, my daughter more than me. She has a severe bone disease and has suffered panic attacks, she doesn t move as fast as she used to. Plus when people yell or get angry it upsets her even more.Well, we called for our UBER in plenty of time knowing how backed up Baltimore Pike can be. But the driver was so very slow. When we got there it was around 5:52pm plenty of time to snap the picture. In fact we were still standing outside and mostly everyone including the DMV guy left at around 6:10 or 6:15pm. There was one EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! employee who said she was the manager; but she chased myself and my daughter all the way to where the pictures were taken. When we were there, there still was plenty of time to do what needed to be done. He spent all of the time playing with the computer, moving papers around, then telling me he had to wait for his manager. OMG!!! Was she rude, I really didn t want to talk to her because her actions and being loud was severely upsetting my daughter. Final outcome nobody in there seemed to care about us being handicapped and my daughter having emotional difficulties. So, I really do not think that I want to go back to that DMV again. I even told her that I needed this done because I needed it to give it to my Realtor in order ti sell my house. She still kept badgering me to the point that I had a splitting headache. So, I hope something about this? I intend to get in touch with the ADA, and my lawyer to see if there is any recourse we may have. I asked her if she cares about the handicapped and she had nothing ti say, even the guy behind the counter for the pictures would not even say a word in my defense. The manager RAN AROUND THE CORNER AS IF WE WERE CRIMINALS, which I did not appreciate at all.So, again please help me in this situation. It s truly a disgrace that people in there don t really care, I guess if we were African American thus would be a whole different story.Sincerely,Mrs. Margaret CollinsMs. Jeannine Collins

Brought my sons car here and they never called regarding the service. When I called they them they told me that they couldn t fix it. When I arrived to pick up my car it was missing many plastics from the outside and inside. They took no responsibility for the missing parts and where very rude during our conversation. Would not provide camera recordings. I do not recommend this repair shop for anyone and will be terminating my AAA as soon as possible.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The 1st time in my life that I ever had to use AAA and it will be my last. The issue that I took my car to them for was never fixed. They held my car for a week gave it back to me telling me my issue was resolved charged me over 1400$. The next time I drove the car it shut off for the same issue I originally brought it in for, on a busy street putting my family in danger. I had to take it to another mechanic where they diagnose the issue and fixed it in 24hrs. I spoke with upper management they made it seem like it was my fault because I didn t bring it back to them to fix it. Why would I bring it back when you didn t fix it right the 1st time? So you can charge me another $1400. Horrendous experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am waiting and waiting my sister and I we are next. A woman comes out and calls the people who came in after us saying she wants to get them out of the way they are white we are of color.2/7/23I wanted to get back on here with this review and say that management contacted me and was very apologetic about this incident. I realize that it s important to acknowledge when folks do things right as well.

Went to this very convenient location to renew my driver's license photo and I was in & out in 3-5 minutes. Even when going in previous years, I've never spent more than 20-25 minutes tops at the location. Thanks AAA & PennDot for having this smoothly run location

First time writing a google review. Wait to get a picture taken for my driver s license was excruciatingly long. The male that worked earlier was fast but his replacement took forever, mostly due to providing artistic direction to every person like they were going to be on the cover of Vogue. I called before coming in and was told the wait was an hour which was fine except the new lady made it about a hour and 45.

No one like dealing with the DMV, but I thought being a member of AAA would make it easier. WRONG! The state of Pennsylvania does not require PA residents, registering their vehicle in PA, to fill out a Form MV-41, AAA does. Currently, my RV is stored in Delaware. I have to:1. Bring it to them, or2. Pay to have a mechanic certify the VIN, or3. "Sketch" the VIN onto a piece of paper.PA DOES NOT REQUIRE THIS! All AAA is doing is making registration MORE difficult than it already is, and driving customers away from AAA.Good riddance!
