Called Greg to fix tire with a screw in it. He got me in quickly. I dropped tire off and he called when it was ready. It was less than an hour. Great people great service.

One of our trucks(Benjamin Franklin Plumbing) had a flat tire and we needed to get it replaced. It was 7:15am and we called Oak's to see if they could help. They said it would be $300 to come to where we were (2 min away from their shop) and then said they couldn't replace the tire for us until the next day. We were able to get air into the tire and said we could "limp" down to their shop but they said they still couldn't replace it until the following day. Obviously we couldn't wait a whole day for a new tire.

Surprised to see some low reviews. I've been bringing my car here for about a decade now and they always are very fair and reasonably priced. Greg is always helpful and never oversells, and the service is always done quickly. I've had multiple oil and tire changes, tune ups, inspections, brakes replaced here. Never once had an issue.

In my experience with this guys they answered my called right away I waited like almost 2 hrs which is fine and they pull my truck real easy no problem he knew what he was doing since very beginning but they are really pricey. To come and pull my truck out about 10' $875. It happened once before in a different state and they charge me $375 is a huge difference in price.Both of them were an easy pull with a line. But at the end they did their job and most importantly no damages in the truck from them which is always good. Anyways THANKS FOR HELPING MY DRIVER ! ! !

I had my mustang aligned at Oak's and they did a great job! The car is very low to the ground and difficult to work with, and these guys aligned the car with no problems. The car drives better than ever!

Can not say enough good things about this business! I got a flat tire recently and they were so quick to respond, helpful, and very professional! I ended up going to them for my vehicle maintenance after my great experience and they do not disappoint. They made sure I understood every procedure moving forward and was comfortable doing it(as a woman I finally felt like I wasn't getting taken advantage of). I highly recommend them!!Service: Tire change

I will not recommend this place to anyone. My car broke down due to an issue with the blower motor. They would not let me drive the car to another garage saying it was unsafe for them to release it. After over $1100 in charges I went back in a day since they did not fully fix the issue. Another day and a couple hundred in labor cost the car is still not fixed. There are many options in Cheswick. Save yourself the hassle and take your vehicle anywhere else.

Had a mechanical problem with my truck contacted my insurance company for a roadside tow . My insurance company contacted oaks for the tow but wouldn't pay them to get my truck . The guy that worked the desk that night his name was Sarge. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was good well dealing with the insurance company. My insurance company said that they weren't in my coverage area which is a 100 miles and im 15 miles from home . Sarge then called me back and said that if I wanted to secure my spot I could pay it out of my pocket which I did. Sarge is an awesome employee and a straight shooter we need more people like him in the world that don't try and pull the cover over your eyes. Sarge is awesome

Guys were SUPER PROFESSIONAL. I broke down and called them. They were here in less than 30 mins at 11pm at night....WOW And the price was so cheap I thought it was a scam. Jim was there with a great attitude no bs all business and good jokes. Ron was also extremely professional and helpful over the phone. Excellent service for our heavy duty transportation needs throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Shomotion has relied on Oak's for a number of time sensitive concert moves. A++ service and top notch equipment!

Shawn, Chris and Greg (I think... Can't recall name) were beyond my expectations. When I called about my Land Rover Alternator, I was hesitant.But, thanks to these guys for reassuring that my truck is in good care. They were really friendly and helpful. Price was even better. Needless to say...THANKS SO VERY MUCH GUYS. 10 stars from this young 37 yr old trucker.

Response time was great and we definitely appreciated you guys getting us back on the road but.... The mechanic that was sent to me was horribleeeeee. Attitude 1/10 his mindset 1/10 he was just awful to deal with. Once again appreciate the turnaround time but the mechanic was horrible. Tried getting out of the job multiple times and would not take no for an answer. After my manager asked him a very simple question can you do the job or can you not do the job or do we have to call someone else he finally stepped it up and took care of our problem. Fantastic company to deal with I just hope no one gets the roadside mechanic we got.

Great service. My driver was stuck at the middle of nowhere in a snow storm, there was no Uber or anything and this guys picked him up from the motel, drove him to the truck and made everything possible to fix it. (Keep in mind I called two other services before that and no-one wanted to go do that because they are not taxies)They said it would be done Wednesday and the truck was done even early, on Monday. Great and fast service, communication and their prices are also good.Service: Special vehicle towing

We were visiting from our of town and our car was towed to this location by AAA. I called in the morning to check to see when they might be able to work on our car and the owner/manager was very rude! He complained about not enough help and he had to bring in mechanics from another location and was really far behind. He also claimed that he didn't abide by any agreement with AAA regarding servicing our car. Needless to say, I told him not to touch our car and we would have it towed elsewhere.

very expensive but got everything done withing a few days, got it inspected an drove it 3 times, then the brakes went, after i just had them specifically work on them, an said they were not responsible for it, i figured paying 2600 for a few things my car would be ok for a while, i could see if it was somthing totally differ. but it was somthing they worked on to get it inspected, if you want a quick fix that wont last an that wont fix things they didnt do properly then this is the place for you, i just dont want anyone else to go through what i went through, be careful get quotes from multi. shops an check their reviews. trying to make charge 100 dollars for a oil change an trying to take advantage of people by thinking they dont know about parts an what they cost, because i didnt have tools i couldnt do it myself so i tried this shop, horrible exp.

We dealt with Greg at Oaks Auto Truck service, his attitude and help was 5 star with us! Our RV's engine blew up one mile from our house, we needed a special tow and work done on the vehicle. We could NOT find one dealer, mechanic, large truck service in our area, but Oaks! The RV was towed over 70 miles to their shop in Cheswick, quick and clean! Put a new engine in, in under 2 weeks! Clean, did I say clean, not one trace of grease anywhere! I called often to see how she be, Chris was always polite and answered all my questions. They certainly have a "come back customer" with us! The service that Oaks provides is fantastic. The service manager and mechanics go above and beyond to diagnose the root cause and fix any and all problems with each of the vehicles that get serviced there. The towing service is also very timely. The truck has shown up within an hour of placing the call.

I needed an oil change. I had no other lights on my vehicle just an oil change. Went in they changed my oil and told me I need breaks and it would be around 700 dollars. When i left after my oil change the check engine light and oil light came on. They said they'd take a look when I came back for breaks. They charged me almost 900 dollars for the breaks and when I started my car the check engine light was on. Then they told me it would be 300 dollars to fix my oil sensor (which I'm almost certain they broke while changing my oil the first time)I went here because I have three little children and it's walking distance/convenientI will absolutely never go there again. I'd rather struggle with three kids at a different shop than ever go back to oaks.

We've used Oak's for all of our vehicle needs for a few years...a sedan, a van, as well as an older truck that needed significant work. We always work with Greg, and he's great. Everything from maintenance to significant mechanical work - good experience all around.

$200.00 to towe my vehicle 15 minutes down the Rd,an this company did not make this part of the service clear. If I were you, which this one time I was you. Called them to tow my trailer yesterday because a wheel busted off and the other tire blew out. Informed them it was a 7x16 dump that weighed roughly 15k pounds, and had no tires on one side. They said of course they can do it. When they finally showed up an hour after the end of the 60 minutes they told me, they hooked up to trailer from the front, didn t put anything under the brake drums, and began pulling it up. Had chains around the brake booster, broke the brake booster, shorted out the whole electrical system and the front of the trailer was blowing smoke everywhere. While dragging the hubs across the asphalt and snapped the leaf spring brackets off the trailer, and shifted both axles. Once trailer was on truck, the drive proceeded to try to bring the bed back onto the truck, and his tires were coming off the ground (because he didn t have his wheel lift down for support, and because he put the heaviest part of a dump trailer at the back) he called his boss. He then told me that his boss told him to drop the trailer because he wasn t sending another truck and that his boss was charging my card for their time. I told him to tell his boss to call me and tell me that himself, or come out to the site and tell me to my face, that he destroyed my trailer, didn t do the job, and was charging ME for it. No call from his boss yet, 24 plus hours later. When driver unloaded the trailer he dropped it on the clearance bar with marker lights on rear of trailer, and it turned completely under the trailer. I am now without my trailer needed for work, completely, and have to wait weeks for insurance to do their thing. Due to so much of the damage being done by Oaks, we have to go through the process of 2 claims, one of which they will be going after Oaks for. Hopefully oaks makes this right on their own, as it was a VITAL piece of our construction operation.

My company, SVSR, Inc had a customer that had a lift gate issue on a medical trailer. Needed repaired to get patient access to scanner. Oak"s staff Sam, Chris,and Technician Jim were extremely pleasant from beginning to end. Highly recommend this company!! It's hard to find such a responsive caring company. Will be a repeat customer!!!

These guys are the biggest crooks I have ever come across. Don t ever use them go with anyone else in that area but them. They will give you one price and when they are done it s something completely different. They charged me $800 for a tire.

I've always had very good service here and the mechanic (Greg) has always been honest with me about what needs done versus not. They are one of the most price friendly garages in the valley to get your state inspection and emissions done.

Efficient towing but the work done in the pittsburgh strip District is robbery. They charge you for unnecessary man hours hike up the price & barely fix it so you can come baclose and do it all again... then the guy in the office is completely disrespectful & becomes belligerent I would never go there again

Called them they showed up looked at my problem said can't fix it charged me the 2 hour minimum. 119 dollars an hour plus tax. Wife later called them they only charged an hour service call return 148 bucks to my card i thought that was fair.

My husband was on his way home from work and the brakes in our car went completely..he called Oaks and they came relatively quickly and took it to their shop,checked it out and are now in the process of fixing it..hoping it is possibly a bit cheaper than the original estimate but as long as it's all good when all is said amd done..guess we will update this review when we get our Buick back
