At first, we were really happy with the help and assistance we had received with Penway. We were in immediate need of a vehicle, and they were very accommodating with staying late and getting the paperwork signed. Unfortunately, after leaving the lot, everything went downhill.We found out from our mechanic that the entire underside of the Jeep is rusted. Aesthetically, it looked great and the interior was really nice. It s our fault for not getting it checked before buying it, but driving an hour and half to Penway, we were trusting that everything was in good condition. We asked about the details of the vehicle, and the rust was never mentioned. So far, we have put over $1,000 into repairing things wrong with the jeep. The gas tank leaks gas and because the jeep is so rusted on the bottom, we can t get it repaired. It s too hard to get to and with the number of items you would need to move to replace the tank, it would cause more damage with the rust.If you are going to purchase a vehicle from Penway, I would make sure you have a trustworthy mechanic look at it before you sign the paperwork. It s definitely a lesson learned that I don t want anyone else to have to learn as well.

Kathy is amazing at Penway, very helpful and knowledgeable about what they have on their lot and I walked away with exactly what I wanted. The jeep wrangler I bought from penway runs amazing, and super clean, extremely happy with the service and vehicle!

Great customer service and easy to work with! Great quality cars! Clean, low mileage, affordable! I just bought my car from them and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! If you're in the market for a great used car go see them! You won't be disappointed!

I bought a Buick EnCalve last week from Penway it s a great car they put new tires on it and replaced other parts before they had it Pa inspected, they really care about their customers and their reputation as being honest and selling cars that are in great shape Kathy is awesome and a pleasure to work with during the sale ! I definitely recommend you check them out and buy your next car from them! 5 Stars for real !

Just wanted to say how fantastic everyone at Penway were to me ! I wasn t planning on buying a vehicle when they towed my 2017 Equinox into the garage for what I hoped was a bad fuel pump, but when the news was even worse that I was probably looking at a hefty repair bill due to my timing chain breaking and taking out my valves it didn t seem worth it to replace. They got me into a loaner for work transportation while they searched for a vehicle to fit my needs and made the financing part super easy even with my credit being not so great. Replacing a vehicle right before Xmas was not in the life plan but thanks to Chris, Kathy, and their great team it worked out better than I could have hoped for! Definitely would recommend them for your next purchase or maintenance work!!

Clean used cars and trucks, maintained well. Very friendly people, respectful to customers, not belittling them. No pressure and no gimmicks. They will deal on a handshake. They have their own garage, to service and maintain your vehicles. Would highly recommend them.

I went to the newly opened Mechanic office in Fayetteville Pennsylvania. I was highly impressed with the experience! The mechanics were friendly and the prices they charged were extremely reasonable! I took an estimate from a competitor and they not only beat the price, it was considerably less! They had my car fixed in a very timely manner and I was very happy with the cost! Highly recommend Pen way Automotive!

Great dealership! Kathy was super friendly and great to work with. Usually buying a car is a painful process but not at Penway. We love our car and we are so happy we found it there.

Gave them $2,500 for the down payment on a vehicle. The deal fell through and they still haven t given us the money back. They give a run around on why they haven t yet and we had another car sold on us from another dealership because of how long they are taking. I ve asked for the owners phone number and they won t give it to me. I m at a loss with these people. Might need to go to small claims court. I would not deal with these people ever if I were you. Maybe your deal works out but if it doesn t you may find yourself screwed just like us.

I had my Dodge Ram 1500 in for service (they replaced the fuel pump). They were fast, friendly and very efficient. His techs are very knowledgeable. Gary is great to work with, very professional, very personable, and knows what he is talking about. Im glad I gave them the opportunity to work on my truck. I would highly recommend Penway Automotive for ALL your auto needs. You won't be disappointed.

This place... So refreshing to deal with good people connected to the community! This was the most ease of which I have bough a vehicle to date. I know we are talking used cars here, but the pride the staff has in their quality of work shows. I truly hope to not need a car again any time soon, (two kids, so that's a pipe dream) but this is where I will go.Highly recommend them.

Have your own mechanic inspect any car you buy here. I bought a truck that had a recent inspection sticker on it. When it came time for me to inspect it I couldn't. It failed due to large holes in the frame. The inspector who failed it said it should not have passed the previous inspection. The holes were also intentionally hidden using putty. We were intentionally sold an unsafe vehicle. So do yourself a favor and keep shopping around.Response to dealer's response to my review....I bought the truck I believe January 7, 2021. It was inspected the previous November by you. It wouldn't pass inspection and I gave up trying after the failure in March of 2022. So it was only 1 winter. Over that year I put about 3500 miles on it. So not a lot, but it was driven. I also suppose you figure low mile driving and one winter also manifested the chuncks of putty used to hide the holes in the frame.As for your frame pictures they are worthless. I could take pictures of the frame of my new truck and say they were that truck. There wouldn't be any way to prove otherwise. So that isn't even worth debating.Also reasonable tapping on the frame in suspect areas with a hammer is allowed during an inspection. Inspectors are encouraged to ensure the frame is sound. At least they are by the State and those of us who don't want our car to fall apart. I'm sure shady inspection stations discourage this kind of thorough inspection.Sorry if I doubt you are as transparent as the frame on the truck you sold me. I have taken my loss and learned my lesson.Everyone.... you won't really know who is right or not for sure. Weigh the risk. If I'm off base and you buy a car somewhere else what risk are you really taking. If Penway is off base and you buy from there anyway what risk are you exposed to? I hope you don't lose thousands like me.

This is by Far one of the best small family Owned car lots and I Highly recommend you go check them out. Very professional and Great prices.
