Stopped in knowing that if I shut my car off, it wouldn't start again. The battery was shot. Two guys immediately greeted me at the counter. After making sure the issue was my battery, one started the paperwork and the other went out and got to work on my vehicle. With no exaggeration, I was in and out of there with a new battery INSTALLED in 10 minutes. Customer service is exemplary. Those young men were kind and courteous, going above and beyond on a rainy day.

I ve gone here multiple times before to get my car batteries checked. I know enough to explain exactly my problems and what I believe is wrong with my vehicle. I ve always had great service here and no problem with the staff. However I now believe this is due to my knowledge in regards to cars. I recommended to my girlfriend that she go here because I ve had to jump her car multiple times in the past month, and I assured the staff would be polite and understanding with her problems. My girlfriend has no experience with cars and couldn t tell you anything about them. She went here today to have her battery checked, I told her to ask them about testing her battery and alternator to see what the problem possibly was and to fix the problem. She went in and talked to the man at the front counter, again mind you she has no idea about anything car related, she talked to the man and told him hey can you guys check my car battery and accelerator the man gave her a very dumb look and said what? My girlfriend replied my altanator or something I don t know instead of using this moment to educate her a little on terminology, he used it to talk down to her and laugh at her expense. She tried to explain her problems more and he kept interrupting her, at one point throwing his hands in the air, saying slow down They then went outside to test her battery, she popped her hood and he exclaimed there s your problem there in an almost condescending way. Turns out her battery wasn t properly connected, he reconnected it for her and tested everything, no up selling, no pressuring into a purchase, he fixed it and didn t charge her a dime. Which leads this review to its conclusion. This place is amazing, prompt service, no pressuring and no lying, up front and honest. However if you re like many car owners who have no idea about their vehicles and rely on mechanics for your issues, know what you re talking about before you go here or maybe don t. I know my car, and I haven t had a problem with this place, she doesn t know her car and was made to feel stupid about it. An amazing business, if you know your car. This is why many car owners have the belief that going to a mechanic or anything likewise to be a bad experience or a chore, because if you know nothing, they make you feel stupid and make you wonder why you went in the first place.

The staff here are fantastic and very helpful when it came to my car battery. I purchased a battery from a big retail store that couldn't Install their own battery and recommended battery one. Not only were they able to install a new one but also saved me a nice chunk of money in the process. A++ can't recommend enough!!

We buy all our batteries here for our company trucks, battery was 2 and 1/2 years old and they would not pro rate it til they checked the battery and blamed it on truck sitting to long, they just lost our business, we went elsewhere and was told battery was bad we needed a new one, will never take single truck back! Unfortunately this is about everytime we come there, we don't have time to mess with that especially since the battery was checked by mechanic less than an hour of coming there!

Took my dressy wrist watch to Battery One this morning for a new battery. GREAT staff! FRIENDLY service with a smile! PROFESSIONAL. EFFICIENT on-the-spot battery replacement. I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes.This is not the first time I ve been there. I used to take my elderly mother s watch there for a battery replacement. The service 7 years ago was the same as it was today which is why I m a repeat customer and will continue to be.Highly recommend Battery One!

Customer service is GREAT! As soon as I came in the manager Jason was able to help, told me my battery was done and after gave me 3 options for a battery. I went with the cheapest option, as he recommended and told me to call if I had any questions or concerns. Got the battery put in in 5 minutes and I was out of the store in a total of 15-20 mins! Definitely recommend this battery one store! They are outstanding!

Stopped to get lawnmower battery and also ask some questions about my marine boat batteries.The guys were helpful and took the time to explain items. The price was reasonable and service was excellent. Took the time to test acid level after load test passed. Ended up needing both boat batteries replaced after acid test. Definitely recommend stopping in if you need a battery or accessories.

Awesome crew including manager Jason at this location. Thought i had a faulty car battery only to find out it was my starter. Removed their new battery from my vehicle without charging me. Greatly appreciated the superior customer service.

The store manager Jason and his associate got right on the job. Took less than 3 minutes for them to identify the issue. Guaranteed me service coverage. With no problems, prices are geeat, install no wait . Awesome guys

Took my battery to Battery One and it just needed a charge. They charged it up at no cost. They are honest and I appreciate that! I will be back anytime I need a new battery. These guys have always been helpful!

A short while ago my battery died 2 different times. I took the vehicle to Battery One and Nick did the diagnostics on the battery, alternator and also looked for a source that may be draining the battery because the battery was in excellent condition. There were no issues found and he told me "For me to sell you a battery right now I'd be ripping you off." He proceeded to clean the terminals on the cables as well as the posts and refused to take anything for the work. THIS IS A WELL RECOMMENDED, honest Chambersburg business that deserves our support! Thank you Nick for all the work!!!

Service is excellent, prices can t be beat. I was in and out with a new battery installed in 15 minutes. Advanced Auto couldn t change my battery because of the length of time required, Auto Zone said it could be changed but would take 45 minutes. Fitzgerald quoted twice the cost of everyone else.

I was traveling and came home to the airport and had a dead battery, got jumped and drove straight to battery one in Chambersburg where they had a new battery installed and I was good to go within 10 minutes! saved my day, definitely check them out!

These guys got me a great deal on a SUV battery that's still running months later with no issues. Money was tight and they found me a refurbished one. They sell high end batteries too if you're not financially strapped.

These guys are awesome. They were very knowledgable about the battery my car needed. They even replaced for me, which was under my passenger seat. I would go back to Battery One for any of my battery needs like this in the future.

Asked about a battery and the person behind the counter was doing a pretty good job when another person came out from the back room and started questioning everything the 1st person was trying to do to help me. Finally just asked what it would cost and the 2nd person wanted to argue about that so I left.

My Dodge Charger wouldn't start so I walked down and asked them for assistance and they let me use their portable charger that got my car started. Drove down to have them test the battery and found the battery connection (the ground side) was was loose. They fixed it right then and there, no charge, no problem. Awesome guys and would recommend this be your first stop!

Had some watch's and key fob that needed replaced. Told me he didn't have time. I bought a battery there about a year or so ago, wasn't a problem then. Must have been a problem this time, apparently wasn't a big enough sale for 5 small batteries! The sad part was I was the only person there! I will make my purchases elsewhere. I guess I interrupted his coffee break.

Came looking for a new battery after mine died 3 times in one day and was replaced with speed and Great customer service jason went way above and beyond and even continued working in the rain to make sure we would be ok he said "I've never had a car leave here broke down" and he meant it I really appreciated his service and jason even went as far as fixing the bad connection I had to my battery this guy needs a raise he deserves the world will continuing coming here for all my battery needs the best experience I've had anywhere I've ever been

Best place for batteries in the Chambersburg area. If you are older as my wife and I are Phil (the owner) will even do house calls if a vehicle has a bad battery. What more can one ask? Fair prices , great service and a positive attitude.
