While on a road trip from Maryland to northern PA, the fuel pump on my Corvette decided to quit. I contacted Abe's and requested a flatbed/rollback. Dispatcher was helpful in determining my location and giving a time estimate. They were quick to arrive, and Tom, the driver, was knowledgeable about attachment points and loading procedures for Corvettes, which was a huge relief. He was also personable and gave us some lively conversation as a welcome distraction. Towed me to the nearest Chevy dealer, and I was on my way. Reasonable weekend rates. Overall, turned a breakdown into a non-issue. A+

Scam of a place. They are trying to charge me for more than my cars worth, the lady on the phone was absolutely disrespectful and $60 a day? You want to rob the people. You want to sell off their cars. Better yet you wouldn t even let me get my belongings.

Over the summer when I was out of town I needed to move my car from where I had it parked so they could do work on the parking lot. I originally called Cramers who "butt-answered" my call, so I decided to call back to get screamed at how I need to give such a hardworking man a minute and stop my repeated calling. I only called twice, and I only did that because he had answered the first time, but I couldn't hear him speaking. Anyway, I just hung up on him and called Abe's instead. Abe's cut me a deal. Was easy and pleasant to work with. If I ever need a tow again this will be the first place I call!

My daughter broke down along I-81. I was at work. She waited with the vehicle for almost 2 hours and then a local friend came and got her. I went to get the vehicle a couple hours later and told my daughter to meet me there. She and her friend then discovered the car wasn't there. I called the PA State police and found out they showed up less than a hour after she left it at least 3 feet from the white line. They had it towed by Abe's. This was Sunday at around 6pm. I went to Abe's on Monday at 3:30. They charged me $505 to get my vehicle and charged me 2 days of storage even though they only had it 22 hours. And I had to pay in cash. There's no legitimate reason to require cash, definitely shady. They even admitted they charge more when the cops call in the tow which is totally a rip off and should be illegal. $505 to tow a vehicle 10 miles and charging for 2 days storage when its only been there 22 hours is extortion. For most people this would be a struggle to pay and poorer people that would be often most affected by broken down vehicles would be hard pressed to pay this and would loose the vehicle. I am planning to make this a public justice cause as I'm hearing from others that this is common practice with tow companies.Service: Car towing

This company is awesome, I called and I got Chris. One wonderful young man with such kindness. Then Chris called for the owners who was just as kind and beautiful in his heart and soul. He also brought a second gentleman whom my husband thought that they were triplets. These guys are just rounded. Please call them for your motor needs and towing.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Had my car towed a few months ago, and was treated like complete trash. The lady in charge of the shop started yelling at me as soon as I walked in the place and gave me legal threats, even though I did absolutely nothing wrong. The man who owns the place just sat in his space in the back and let it all happen without saying a single word. I wanted to see my car one last time, to check if I had left any important items inside, but they wouldn't even allow me to do that. I'm truly disgusted. Don't ever go here. Go somewhere else folks.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I think it is terribly IGNORANT to give someone literally FIVE MINUTES to gather their belongings from the mangled vehicle their loved one was pulled from and is mangled themselves. $425 for 5 minutes?! Have some sympathy. This world is harsh enough.

These guys are crooks, my car got towed with a half of tank of gas,and when I picked it up it was on empty. Someone there like stealing gas out of the cars

If I could give Abe s a 0 star review I would. Was in a accident when I wanted to get stuff out of my car at the scene I was told I had to wait till the car was at their yard which was fine. It was on a Friday so they are closed Saturday and sundays now I go to get the stuff out of my car and they charge you $50 a day that the car is there no one ever told us about the fee so now I owe them $200. place is a total scam and the owner and driver was super rude.Service: Special vehicle towing

Dishonest practices. Tell you a price and cash only. Send you to an ATM that gives only multiples of $20s, but the bill is $10 less than you can get from the ATM. Then never tell you it must be exact cash and the driver can't make change. When called out for it jokingly says we'll the I am sure the driver would take the extra as tip....haha! No. Driver cops attitude when I call it out and say that they charge an amount but won't make change so then I am to be out the extra money and he says we'll I can just close the gate and not let you get your car. Had to inform them I would call the police if that were to happen since I was there with money to get my car. They hide the truth and seem to try to scam people out of money.

Arrived within 15 minutes of our call. We had already waited over 3 hours for AAA, so this was much appreciated. We were given a price over the phone and that was the price we paid. WOW!!! So rude. I had no idea someone else called to get info because their belongings were in my car that was towed. I had my mother call because I was lying in a hospital bed. I do not recommend using this company even if you're desperate. He could have handled that call differently. So sorry to have bothered them.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Charged me over $220 and the driver didn't even drop me off at home. The owner was rude and completely took advantage because he knew I was stressed and needed help. I called to see if the price could be lowered and he was condescending, misogynistic and would not work with me at all. Not to mention, the driver got there late! In my opinion, this place is a scam.

My experience w Abe's was very good!! I can't remember the driver but he was more than helpful!!! And I didn't have to wait for more than 20 mins for him to show up. He was a very nice gentleman!!!

Would not recommendThe intital call:The phone call went well they answered although the just abes then a long pause can throw you off guard. I explained my car was in the middle of the road that the lower control arm and axel were on the ground and I couldn't move it. I was broke so I asked what my options where. The guy explained the rates but never said or implied they were closed on Saturday. Was originally going to give the title over because I couldn't pay for it. However my brother and his friend said they would float me the money.The wait:They took an hour to get to my location a few miles away in kriner road in chambersburg. When the driver got there with the roll back he had not brought the equipment to load a car that has basically 3 wheels.The tow:The driver hooked up to the back of my Honda civic a drug it with the wench up onto his rollback. When he did this he blew my tire of the seal also dragging a Honda the oil pan is the lowest point. Car wasn't leaking oil when he got there infact the axel had came apart because the lower ball joint snapped. The cup was still in the trans and the car had been running so Ang further damage will be on them.The call to get my car:I called the very next day. Because I had offered to sighn the title over the following day, I had assumed they had Saturday hours. They do not. So to my discovery I will be paying what is not but they call a break 350$ for a tow and 5 days of unexpected storage. When asked about my front tire the dispatch said he didn't know anything about it. My response was come on bro....... It happined outside my job it's on camera being loaded. The dispatch goes.im not your bro and I don't know anything about it.Conclusion:I have yet to get my car. Infact I can't untill atleast Tuesday but I need to be at work so I don't know how I will now. They were very rude. Seem to be expensive or shady. Like you for real are going to just deny damage that's not even expensive or hard to fix. Like if you gonna rip me off don't ask me to smile and say thank you. Have yet to check state of car after unload either. I think in the future I'll try Cramer's

This company is completely unprofessional. They were contacted for roadside assistance through my insurance company. We have full roadside assistance coverage. When they arrived at our home they refused to release the car until they were paid full price. They refused to wait until we were able to get Geico on the line to prove they called and set up the towing service. Instead the "owner" yelled and threatened to have the driver leave with my car if we did not pay in two minutes. I had to pay $125 in order to keep my car due to the hold time for Geico and the company refusing to confirm the information. A quick phone call would have confirmed that Geico set up the service to begin with. This company should not be doing business with major insurance companies and I will make it my business that Geico know this. Do Not Do Business With This Company.Service: Car towing

They quoted me a price of 250 on the phone. Then they said 300 a few days later. Had to negotiate down to 275 cash. The one guy was smoking a cigarette in my car when he got in the steer it for towing. I would not recommend this company. Felt cheated and they are professional.

They gave me the car fast and no troubles. However when they towed me car they mess it up by vending the bottom. Know my car is making a really bad noise and i have to fix it.

the most DISHONEST people i have seen ,, the owner told me to walk back down the highway 11 coz he didnt have time to give me my change coz he sent his employee without change , and said it was my FAULT !! charged me $200 extra for NO reason they make up prices as they go !! I wish there was .5 star they dont even get 1 star

I've used Abe's twice now, both on frustrating days (as with the nature of a car-towing service.) Despite annoying situations, they were super helpful both times and helped to make a bad day more manageable. I recommend for tows, lockouts, whatever!

Absolutely the worst people. Its bad enough they inconvenience people, but then they inconvenience the people who are trying to help the people this company has gone to the extent of trying to ruin. Hope that the great reset eliminates such predatory practices from American culture.
