Derek did an amazing job on tuning my Civic Type-R FK8 with Cobb Accessport. He was very organized with his emails and tunes. My Type-R is now fast and reliable street car. I would recommend him to tune your car at a reasonable price!

Just got my final revision from Derek today. Car feels great! Good balance of power and reliability. Derek is straight forward with what he needs to get your car tuned and answers any questions you may have along the way. Overall, a great process tuning with him, every penny well spent!

Derek's great, had me in and out in a couple hours with a brand new tune and some valuable information about my car that desperately needed attention. My car runs absolutely amazing now and has a little bit of extra power that he managed to squeeze out of her. Can't wait to come back after I get a supercharger installed and see what he can do again!

Have worked with Derek for quite sometime now with getting my car remote tuned. He has been exceptionally helpful over the last 2 years with various changes to the car! I was running into a few issues and even made some suggestions on what to steps to go through in terms of sorting things out.He took the time to be very thorough with any explanations and was an amazing experience to get it done through him. I've recommended pretty much everyone in our community to go to Derek for any tuning needs!This year we ran into some misfire issues due to headgasket/fuel injectors so we were able to pause and resume our session in a timely manner. Car runs amazing now finally!Thank you once again and wish you all the best! You'll definitely be hearing from me and the guys at Unity Performance regularly!!!

TUNING SERVICESI ve been working with Derek for the last three years with my 2020 highly modified Honda accord. After several failed experiences with other tuners. Derek delivered a customer service experience you will not find anywhere in the industry!!! His attention to detail, prompt follow up, impeccable communication, and his drive to do the next right thing by the customer is next to impossible to find these days.In todays world with 400HP not enough and even 800HP people want more!! We forget to focus on the small important details. Like throttle response , how the car Idles, timing, and proper overall drivability!! My car drives better now then when I bought it 75k miles ago!! Derek s goal is longevity not straight line tuning . . Also there is not another tuner out there that can do both power and pin point drivability accuracy.Thank you Derek and Innovative motor works for your continued dedication to making my car the best It can possibly be. You really do care how much time and effort I have put into my build. Trust and relationship is everything and Derek cares about his customers. Derek provides such a high level of customer care. I m a small fish but he s not focused how much can I make today. . Derek simply just loves what he does and man you know it from the first revision to the final tune!!!

Derek was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He answered every single one of my questions and did an absolute amazing job tuning my car. Derek not only met but exceeded my expectations in regards to my horsepower goals and my car runs amazing now thanks to him. Working with derek has been nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Had a brand new xdi pump seize took a lil bit to get process started but he was patient and honored the tune for me. Super easy to work with and the car is running phenomenal. Do not slack on drob, so glad i chose to get tuned by him.

After doing some research on who some of the better tuners that are available for the Honda platform, Derek at IMW kept on coming up. I decided to reach out, as I was about to start the modifications on my car. He responded very professionally and realized during the response that I had already placed my order.After that, he laid out what he needed out of me to start the tuning process and we started the process of sending revisions back and forth. He was very professional and thorough on what he was looking for and if you didn't understand, he would walk you through every step of the way.I have now been driving my car around with the final revision for a couple weeks and I must say, this car feel completely different and drives amazingly. I let him know that I will be doing business with him again in the near future. I would recommend Innovative MotorWorks to anyone that was looking to get their Honda/Acura tuned.

I had my 2018 Honda Civix tuned a couple years back. Absolutely no issues at all with my cars performance it s flawless and I m so grateful. The remote tune process was easy and Derek was so wonderful to work with. She s definitely not all show! I had my 2021 Civic Sport Hatchback CVT tune by Derek Robinson. Overall the experience is absolutely phenomenal the car runs so much better with the tune Derek provided me. On top of that the datalogging process was also very easy to follow aswell. Derek is also very knowledgeable when it comes to answering all the questions I had regarding the car and the tuning process. I definitely recommend IMW for all your e tuning needs as I will definitely be reaching out once more when I get the rest of the mods for my build

Just got done doing email calibrations for my accord 2.0t with Derek at IMW. It s fbo stock turbo running about 32% e85. Derek is a professional who knows everything about our platforms. Any questions you have? He has the answers guaranteed. Car runs beautifully, very smooth and my gauges are almost always perfect. Not only does he care about reliability, but it s drob man, of course he s gonna give her the sauce, and help these little 4 cylinders scoot! Which he did. I ll be back 1000% after swapping out my turbocharger unit for a bigger one, and I can t wait to do more work with him. 12/10 recommend Derek for any Acura/Honda work! My tune was done in Sept 2021. No issues at all and I absolutely love the way the car drives after the tune. I m so happy that Derek tuned my car. If you want it done right your looking at the right place! I Highly recommended IMW!

If you have a K20C Engine Accord or Civic type R, why are you even reading this? This guy is the best. Hands down amazing experience e-tuning with him. Car is more performant, just as reliable, and runs just as good as it did out of the factory if not better.

Drob s tuning service is amazing. I got a flex fuel e-tune on my Accord 2.0T. The process could not have been any easier. It took 12 revisions from starter file to final map. This was my first time custom tuning and the professionalism from Derek won me over as a lifetime customer for all of my tuning needs. He answered my dumb questions with his expertise and stayed patient during the holidays when I wasn t able to get him logs. After trying a few OTS maps, I am really happy I went with a custom tune. This is the perfect next step to take after you are done with bolt ons. This thing absolutely moves now. Even though I got the regular priority service, the basemap took 5 days for me to receive and then each revision took anywhere from 2-3 days from uploading the datalogs. E-mail responses were within the day to 1 day. Derek is really punctual with his responses and never leaves you hanging. I wouldn t go anywhere else for my tuning needs and I am really happy I chose IMW for my Accord. Trust me, you'll be in good hands with Drob!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I m a repeat customer of Derek s. Only guy I go to for tuning my Honda. Got my K24/K20 Frank setup dialed in and even helped me with a diag issue I ran into with the car. Dude is incredibly knowledgeable and even makes me feel dumb some days, coming from someone who is a master mechanic for a living. If you need your Honda/Acura tuned. Derek is always a delight to work with. Easily my go-to tuner when it comes to any Honda/Acura product. If you're serious about making good HEALTHY power on your car, he's the one to go to. I've had two cars tuned by him thus far. First was my 10th gen Honda Civic Si, which I parted out and sold for personal reasons. And most recently my 8th gen Honda Civic Si. He was able to look at a previous tune and some datalogs I took of that tune and pointed out some obvious areas of laziness on their end. It's crazy to think that someone would do that. The fact that the tune wasn't completely catered to the car and they cut corners made me happy I got it retuned. He will treat your car like it's his own. Communication is also key! He's constantly making tunes for people. First and foremost he will prioritize making you a tune that is safe and healthy. No maxing out areas in an unsafe manner just to squeeze out power. But whatever you're seeking, ask questions and he will provide his best professional response based off of his own real world experience. He's always ready and willing to answer any questions you might have and his responses are always detailed and respectful. I tip my hat to Derek and those at IMW. My experience with them will always bring me back as a future customer.EDIT: For anyone that's curious, I had both my cars tuned through his e-tuning service, as I'm not local to the shop. Even then, the process was simple and seamless. And the tune turned out great!

Straightforward process, Derek did a great job tuning my 2016 Accord Coupe V6 with the 6MT! Highly recommend the e-tune if you have a busy schedule, I had to wait 3 weeks one time before I was able to send him my data logs so the process took some time on my part but overall I'm loving my car's responsiveness with the tune!

Did the custom E-Tune/ flex fuel, my current setup is FBO with stock turbo! If I could give Derek 100 stars I would! From the very first revision you immediately notice the difference and that was with the starter 21 PSI map I was running previously. Night and day difference, the car feels smoother, faster and it just feels like it runs better than ever! Hands down would recommend to anyone wanting to tune their car passed the starter base maps! Derek made the process extremely easy and straight forward to follow!

UPDATE: been running my tune for 2 years and 30,000 miles without a hiccup!Derek at IMW provided etuning services for me on my modified 2018 Honda Accord 2.0t. I had high hopes for what could come from a custom tune, and boy did Derek deliver! I was astonished by the care and quality of the work he did for me, and always felt like I had someone to answer questions and help me understand the process. I feel completely confident in their work and have had a flawless experience dealing with these professionals. I find that the services provided are a good value, and would recommend that anyone (even internationally) interested in getting a modern forced-induction Honda tuned give IMW a call. I've been completely sold by my experience, and now no one else is allowed to touch my car!

I want to thank Derek for his hard work with etuning my Accord 2.0t FBO with the P600 turbo, the process was so simple and I had no trouble with communication and every question and concern I had he responded to which I appreciate so much. The car is so quick and is much more fun to drive. Derek is the way to go no matter which way you do it E-tuning, Remote tuning, Dyno tune in house because you ll always get great result and a safe way to make power. A smile on your face is guaranteed when he touches your ecu trust. Thanks again Drob for popping my tuning cherry . Innovative is the second tuning shop I've been to. I drove about 115 miles to get corrections made. I arrived early and the shop opens promptly at 9am. The establishment has sufficient parking and the inside is extremely clean and inviting.IMW uses a hub-style dyno machine to measure power. The machine looks brand new and it's well taken care of. IMW also ensures their software is up to date. The garage is also one of the cleanest and organized I've seen, and I'm not exaggerating, it's walkable and nothing is in your way.Regarding the tune and customer service: Derek treated me with respect and kindness, which in any establishment nowadays, is very difficult to find. He answered any question I had and told me things I didn't know about asking.There were numerous corrections made to the tune and he started from scratch after the baseline. Once Derek was done, the car was running perfectly and even more smoothly than the first tune done 2 years ago.In terms of quality and value, IMW is a 10/10.

I ordered the custom tune through these guys and it was fantastic. Derek is incredible and was patient all throughout the E Tuning Process even when he told me to redo some logs that I had messed up. Derek has been a legendary name in the Honda game since before I got into the K platform in 2010. When I swapped my Element with a Frankenstein engine, I had Derek do the e-tuning since I had moved out of the NY/PA area to Texas. The whole process start to finish was unbelievably great, with fantastic communication and dedication to the work.
