I have been going to Houser's Automotive for many many years. I would not go anywhere else. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and informative. The customer service is top-notch. They never fail to deliver the best. I highly recommend Houser's for all of your car needs, big or small.

Although we received the sad news that my teenage son's 20 year old car was not worth repairing, I am very appreciative of Houser's work. Bill thoroughly examined the car, was honest in his assessment and I value his opinion. He also helped us dispose of the car. We will continue to patronize Houser's for all of our vehicles!

Houser's is, HANDS DOWN, one of the most professional, focused and knowledgable service companies I've ever had the good fortune to utilize. I wouldn't go ANYWHERE ELSE for the care of my Subaru.

My Beloved Husband always used Houser's for auto repairs and inspections. Since his passing in 2015, my son and I continued with our car service. Houser's is honest, fair pricing and only fix what needs to be fixed. I trust them - priceless!!!

I had barely driven my 2018 Subaru since the pandemic started but my brakes started squealing every time I applied them and I was WAY overdue for an oil change.Within 2 hours of dropping my car at Houser's, I got a call telling me they road tested and pulled apart my brakes and determined that they were fine. They just needed to replace $9 plug in my oil pan. My car was ready for pick up and my bill was just slightly over a hundred bucks!!I was thrilled with not only their service but their communication and personal service.One note, I decided to try them because I literally live about 100 yards from the shop. I'm handicapped and can't walk the short distance and they have a policy that they cannot transport customers. I'm sure it's a liability issue and a $10 Lyft solved my dilemma. Just be prepared to get your car dropped and picked up with your own transportation. I declare it well worth it.I have found my new mechanic and suggest you try them too!!Services: Brakes, Oil change

My boss recommended Houser's to me, and I was not disappointed! Their prices are fair and the mechanics are proactive in making sure you get everything done you need and nothing you don't. I went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, they noticed I would need my emissions test done in a month, so we got that done as well. Originally I was going to drop off my car, but something came up and I had to stay on site. They expedited my appointment and got everything done in 30 minutes so I could be on my way! I was so pleased with their customer service. Highly recommended.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have delt with different service shops in the past and I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had. I said this to my wife when I picked up my vehicle yesterday before I even saw this survey today. I really felt that they were honest about the service and the cost. I felt like I was just welcomed into my new automotive family. Bill Thank You and the Houser's Automotive Team so much for the great service. You have definitely earned another loyal client! I took my car to Houser's to have my left high beam lamp replaced. The service person was courteous and helpful. It was discovered that problems existed with several other headlamps. I am veappreciate that not only were the problems identified, but they took the initiative to fix them for me in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I will be recommending Houser's to my family and friends.

What a great experience! I had an appointment for an oil change and it was done in 30 mins. I have never been at auto repair/service center that I was out in 30 mins. They are very efficient and look over everything. I will go no other place for service!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

They are very friendly and helpful. They do dealership quality work but not for an arm and a leg like you would pay at the dealership. They are very honest with their work as well. I went in and was having some issues and Kevin was my mechanic. He called me and explained all of what was going on and he also explained on what needed to be done to solve the problem but at the same time recommended what else should be done.

Thank you from Stanaitis Landscaping and Construction. Truck is fixed perfectly. These guys went above and beyond. Didn t have to ask them to fix everything they just did it all and it saves me time not having to change oil or fix small things. They were responsive and fast. In a time where it s hard to find good mechanics and employees I m super impressed. Thank you to all the good men and women that worked on my truck. Friendly and honest service. The manager Bill is always very helpful and is an honest person. I bought my car in after it failed to start the night before and I needed a jump. Luckily I was able to get it to Houser's. After they ran the diagnostics and tested the battery they found nothing wrong and the battery still had plenty of life left. Bill called to tell me and said it must have been a fluke or asked if I remember leaving a light on because the battery tested good and the car started right up. After answering my questions and concerns he said he didn't want to just put a new battery in and charge me for something I don't need yet. He also didn't charge me for looking at my car. I'm a female and he definitely could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me for a host of so-called issues in this case, but he didn't and I thoroughly appreciate that!! It's nice to have found an honest, reliable, and knowledge mechanic. Plus they have some Saturday hours which is huge for a person who works full-time!!

I've only had a tire patched but I was wholly impressed with the experience. I had called the night before, after calling around town and being told it would be four days from one, a high price from another etc.The guy who answered was really nice and said to bring it in in the morning. I didn't even ask the price since he sounded really cool, professional, and understanding.I decided I always saw these guys since they're only 1/2 mile from me.Am I glad I went! They asked what I needed and I didn't even wait. They pulled the suv around, told someone what was needed and a couple guys started and one guy finished it in about 10 minutes!I didn't have cash since during these times I don't go much of anywhere. So I said I'd be right back, since running a credit card for the amount didn't seem right. The guy at the counter said not to worry!Just drop it off sometime.I was back with the cash about 1 1/2 hours later and he was super cool.Also if you have never gone up for a closer look, it's a nice organized and clean shop. 5 stars all around.

Even though my cars are new & under mfg warranty I went to Houser's to have 2 trailer hitches that I supplied, installed because the Toyota stealer wanted 3 x !!!! as much $ for the same work. Work was completed as promised & on time even as a snow storm was approaching! 2nd car bill was lower than 1st as installation took less time. Great place for prompt courteous service. Will definitely return after mfg warranty expires.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are wonderful!! They are thorough, fair and explain everything. They don't try to talk you into things that you aren't in need of immediately but will be in the future. I took my BMW to Houser s Automotive to do my front and read brakes and get an oil change. In the past I would take my car to Otto s BMW. Houser s Automotive did an amazing job with my car for a fraction of the price that certified dealer would charge me. Bill and Tony were very flexible, understanding and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and made sure my car gets the best service possible. I couldn t be happier !! My car works great !! If you are looking for a good mechanic who is honest, professional, punctual and charges you reasonable pricing - THAT S THE PLACE TO GO TO!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

I have to say, when you move to a new area you always want to find reliable and honest mechanic. Nowadays, those are hard to come by. In the past two years of living here, we have had minor to serious car problems. Bill and his staff have gone above and beyond to fix our family SUV. They have been flexible, understanding, and always try to explain everything, clearly to us before doing anything. We appreciate all of their service to keep are car safe for our family.

This was my first time at Houser s Automotive. For years I ve done my own work on my cars but at 64 I m to old to do all of the work myself. It was time to trust someone and enlist their help. Well I could not have been more impressed! No BS, totally listened to my personal diagnosis and reserved their own until they checked it out. In the end the parts weren t elevated in cost, the labor billed was honest and reasonable. Car runs great and feels great. Got it back after just one overnight stay. Bill at the front counter is a respectful great guy and a total professional! Thanks Housers! I ll be back when I need more help.

Let me start by saying I have never posted a review about anything, ever. I was recently visiting the area and my car began to act up. I called Houser's because they were very close. From the very first phone call they were polite and helpful. They quickly got to the root of the problem, called to advise me and fixed it right up. Even though its unlikely I will ever be back there, and despite the fact that they knew I was basically at their mercy I got great service at a fair price. This level of prompt, honest and friendly service is rare. If I lived there I would never go anywhere else.

The service my fiancee and I received here was top notch. They were very kind, fast, and efficient. The price was fair and everyone I spoke with clearly knew that they were doing. It's nice to find an honest good garage in the area and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Recommended by a friend I went here for general service, knowing I had an exhaust leak. I was laid off an Christmas due to Covid, and accepted a new job traveling, and I need the car to run for just the next few months. Houser's identified the leak, and referred me to Meineke down the street for a weld instead of a replacement, reducing my repair bill from a possible $2000 down to $370! I really appreciated that in my time of need! This is an excellent shop, with good people.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change
