Unbelievably bad service, there was nobody else there, and it took them an hour to change one tire, the tech did not line up the valve stem with the hubcap, and forced it on, breaking my hubcap. The tech and manager on duty were unapologetic and told me I would have to come back a different day when the manager was there. it s just a piece of plastic

I have a scheduled appointment today @ 8:00 amThe store manager decides to cancel my appointment stating he can't fit my van in!!The funny stupid thing he send me email to reschedule my appointment !!What a professional customer service. .I don't recommend the Bethlehem, PA location on Stefko Blvd.

Amazing customer service top notch got in got my tires changed, and oil changed in a timely fashion. The manager of the facility was extremely helpful. I was impressed. Will come back

Went in for new tire installation with spare replacement. Unfortunately they couldn't find the dock to lower the spare, even after I pointed it out to them they couldn't bother to complete it. They lost one of my caps for the new tires. They also didn't bother to relearn my TPMS system (extremely easy), or mount the wheels where they originated, not did they inflated the tires to the proper level. Gross levels of not caring. In the future I'll spend a bit more and go elsewhere.

Appointment was easily setup online. They texted a link that shows status of my vehicle. Vehicle was finished by the eta provided. I'm completely satisfied with work. Will definitely get tires again there. Thank you.

They were very helpful & the one technician in the back was amazing. He did my inspection and told me what I would need to pass and what I should get next. I think his name was dominic. 10/10 from me highly recommended them.

Terrible service. Waited over 2 hours from my scheduled appointment time, with no acknowledgment from staff regarding being behind schedule or issues - actually overheard them telling other customers it would be upwards of 2-3 hours before their vehicle is even looked at, and heard a group of employees arguing who was going to be stuck performing my oil change and what their plans were for dinner instead of working on the line of customers they had waiting. I ended up being able to work pick my car up 3 hours after my appointment time for nothing more than an oil change. I will not be returning and will not recommend anyone to this service center, I ve never had issues with any other company at minimum communicating with the customers.

I had a great first experience at Pep boys. I took my vehicle in for a standard oil change and inspection per appointment. I was greeted as soon as I came . The lady worked with me to obtain my insurance card via their app with no issues! She also even suggested a coupon online for my oil change that ended up saving me a decent amount. Would definitely recommend!

These guys are super friendly, that's the only good thing about them. I took my car there for them to tell me that my rack opinion was busted, so I needed to come back with a little extra money to get it fixed. Well, my follow up with them was basically them telling me there is nothing wrong with my car and it's only getting old. Even though my car is still doing what it was earlier. I don't recommend the Bethlehem, PA location on Stefko Blvd.

Dropped my car off for a tire install at 9 am was able to go run some errands and it was done and ready by 10 am. I brought my own tires and not once did they try to make me buy their tires or try to upsell me on other services they offer

Set an appointment at 12 to do an alignment waited 3 hours and they never got to my car very disappointing. I had to ask for my keys back because they had no intention of doing my vehicle. The only saving grace was that the second guy I talked to was upfront about how they hadn t even started working on the car when I asked, besides that the service was not great.

Great experience! I went to Jack Williams down the street and they were looking to charge nearly 700 bucks for tires and their service fee is a ridiculous $140!!! At pep boys, they gave me a MUCH cheaper price and actually told me it was just a nail in my back tire that needed to be patched up so I didn t end up getting tires. Places that were out to get money would just replace the tires and take the money. Great experience. Trustworthy establishment.

They will let you make an appointment for anything, but good luck beyond that. Made an appointment last Sunday for an inspection. Came in to drop off my car and was told they don t do inspections on sundays. Rescheduled for today (Saturday). Appointment at 10am. Was told it would be a minimum of 2-3 hours, as there are a bunch of people in front of me. Turns out there s no limit on how many people can make an appointment for a given time.

This shop is my go-to for all automotive servicing. It can occasionally be a couple of days before they can take your vehicle in for an appointment, but they make up for it with great customer service, fair prices and skilled mechanics who actually know what they are doing. Sometimes chain stores have below-average mechanics or no mechanics at all (some utilize trained "technicians" rather than ASE certified mechanics) but the mechanics here are true mechanics; this location also benefits from good management and a very good front desk staff that know what they are talking about and they do a nice job of communicating. The lone drawback is that the location has a limited parts supply and must be replenished from their Allentown store that has parts and service on site. I do recommend this facility for servicing - they do a very nice job. I really like it when people know what they are doing and these folks know what they are doing.Update 2023: My elderly grandmother has stopped driving and gave me her 1998 Buick with 49,000 mi on it, even though it is in pristine condition, it's still a 25 year old car and it initially failed inspection. This is where trust is important because I could have been "taken" her by another shop. The vehicle initially failed the emissions portion of the inspection and they could have sold me every sensor under the sun. Instead a trained mechanic knew exactly what the issue was and ordered me a new gas cap because the old one had a bad seal. They could have taken me to the cleaners so-to-speak, but they didn't. It passed the emissions test because of a gas cap. There are some honest people left in this world and you can find them at this Pep Boys.Update 2024: I came in this year for my inspection knowing that a "check engine" light had come on. I went to Auto Zone prior to my Pep Boys appointment and their "computer" told me it was my coolant sensor. While it was true that the sensor needed replacement, it did not tell me that for about a week I had been driving around with NO coolant in my car because my water pump had failed. I only avoided seizing my engine because the exterior temperatures were low and were sufficient enough to cool the engine block. If it had been a warm day, I very well could have seized my car. Don't rely on the "computer" at Auto Zone, use the real one at Pep Boys. They replaced the water pump and sensor and gave me back the car so that I could drive 100 miles to reset the computers. I dropped the vehicle back off and the following morning it passed its emissions inspection (it had already passed the safety inspection). I'm pretty sure the young guy who did the work on my car wasn't alive when this car first hit the road, but his mechanic education is top notch because he did a great repair that is very involved (requires removing the serpentine belt, tensioners, and working in a tight space) and he saved my car. Nice job fellas. As long as this same crew sticks around, you'll be doing my work forever.

I went to pep boys for a simple fix. I was quoted one thing over the phone. I get there and it turns into 3x the amount. My car was running perfectly fine when I got there and when I left it turn off. The guy had almost zero knowledge how to answer my concerns yet the young lady actually corrected him that what they advise me to fix can wait. I will NEVER EVER go back there.

Scheduling an appointment is unfortunately worthless. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance for an oil change and inspection for 9am and to wait for my vehicle. Upon arriving I was told it would take likely over 3 hours as there were 2 others ahead of me eventhough I had an appointment. I didn't have the availability to wait that long due to other obligations later in the day. The only solution was to reschedule to another day to likely have to sit and wait just as long of a time. I was told they schedule every half hour but why do so if customers have to wait hours for their vehicles? I took my business elsewhere to Mavis in Nazareth who thankfully was able to get my car in for an oil change immediately on a busy Saturday morning.
