I took my car in for a routine brake pad replacement, they left the car with many warning lights on because they broke or disconnected the caliper plugs. Additionally the caliper bolts were all loose and needed to be tightened. I was told they needed to order a new part to fix the issue, and they would have to charge me for it. Accidents happen, but this level of damage is unacceptable for a routine job like that.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My local garage wasn't able to get me in for an oil change so, I used Hank's for the first time last week. Hank was so nice that I feel a bit bad leaving a negative review.I took my car in for an oil change and to have two headlights and a fog light changed. They had my car for three and a half hours. After three hours I finally told the mechanic that unfortunately, I had a funeral to attend and I needed my car back. I kept being told it would just be five more minutes but, another half hour passed. I would have also been more understanding of the long wait time if I had just dropped in but, I called and made an appointment. When I arrived that morning, no one had any idea I was coming and they didn't have the bulbs they needed for the car. I ended up having to tell them to forget the fog light because at that point I was already fifteen minutes late for the funeral I was attending.When I went to pay, they charged me for all three lights and I had to remind them they didn't change one of them. I'm also pretty sure they only changed the headlight that was out, not both but charged me for both. The total price ended up being over $250. I was charged $125 in labor for an oil change and two lights. Even the dealership wouldn't have charged me so much. Every other time I've had this work done, it's cost at most $75 for the oil change and $35 for each light and I've never been charged for labor. I have no clue how they arrived at $125 for labor. I waited for my car and it sat there for a majority of the three hours and was being worked on for about one hour. I feel like I was really taken advantage of and I won't be back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

There are good mechanics and there are great responsible mechanics they are great and that's why I have been coming here for decades! Love them through all generations!

The mechanic that was there and was absolutely awesome. Prices were Fair and he was quick. I recommend! A very nice guy! The entrance is around back so you have to hit the corner make a right and then make another right and it's on the back side of the building !

My wife and I were in a car accident this afternoon, called AAA, and were very lucky to get Hank's.Gator from Hank's arrived promptly and was extremely helpful. He cleared the glass and debris before leaving. He hauled our car to a shop near our home two hours away, and even called me to let me know he got the car dropped off fine.We will always appreciate receiving such amazing service at such a difficult time. Went there today no appointment to have him check an Issue with my car. Turns out it was something very easy after he did a thorough check. Great customer service and great quality of work. I would recommend this shop to anyone. They are very nice trustworthy people who know what they are talking about.

Hanks auto service is a great place to take your car for anything. They are good people's. The service is really really great and good. The guys that work there are really good with your car. They have really good experience especially with your cars. They WILL take good of your car or cars. If you really need your car worked on. I advise you to go to Hanks Auto Service. They are great

Hands down the best. An honest mechanic is practically an oxymoron. With Hank's they are honest, great prices, personable & willing to go the extra mile even if it doesn't benefit their pocket book. But then again this is why they have great reviews & tons of repeat business. People know, trust & like them.A1 top shelf business.They may offer a discount to Lehigh University students but don't quote me on that. Check them out.

I was involved in a car accident yesterday, and Hank's Auto towed my car. I wanted to report that my tow driver was very polite; I'm not from the area, and he was very helpful with driving me to the airport to try and get a rental, and he was very patient with me, as I was kind of shaken up. Later in the day, I had to get into the yard to get things out of the car, and the young man that met me at the shop, and drove me to the yard, was also very polite and patient. Your customer service is excellent; spoken as a person who has been dismissed and treated rudely from other police-called towing services. If I didn't live an hour away, I'd ask Hank's to fix the car, as well.

I've been there twice and both times it has been great service and affordable. These aren't the kind of mech workers trying to squeeze you for every penny. They are efficient and reliable, honest and definitely will be my only mechanics as long as I live around the Lehigh valley. Thanks Hank!!

I'm now on hour two of waiting for this company to tow my car. The person at AAA tried to call the garage and driver and no answer from either!!!!! I'm now stranded in an undesirable neighborhood in Allentown because these yahoo's don't want to work. Hope to God I don't get shot or my car vandalized.

I waited four hours for my tow. Apparently the truck "broke down" but they didn't bother calling and to tell me that. I waited for my original time at 8:50, a half hour later I called and then they said They were picking me up at 10:15. but then they said the truck broke down, so I had to wait two more hours and finally at 12:30 they came to tow my car. After it was loaded up and on the way they started to drop it off at the wrong place. No apologies made, don't recommend them to anyone.

On Friday, November 15, 2018 @ 8:00 pm: My daughter and I got stuck in a ditch during the snow storm last night. Even with the help of four police officers, we couldn t get it out. A Latino man driving a tow truck stopped and pulled us out. He refused to accept our money! Checking them out on Google , I find they are well recommended. Please allow me to further bring them to your attention. We should support local businesses that support their communities.

Great service and they get you in quickly even with all of the other customers that they have. Always have been very competitive price wise and very knowledgeable when it comes to auto repair and diagnosing car issues.
