I don t have any experience with the diagnostic or repair work done here but the inspections are pricey and there is some miscommunication on state pricing with stickers. The shop did refund some funds after I explained what prices were set at.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS, REALLY SCAMMERS IF YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CARS? STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. I DRIVE MY CAR THERE FOR THE STATE INSPECTION AND THEY WAS TRYING TO SCAM ME BY TELLING ME ABOUT MY CAR OVERHEATING. THE MECHANIC THERE REMOVED MY THERMOSTAT BLEEDER AND STATED THAT ,IT'S WAS LEAKING. HIS MISTAKE WAS THAT. HE DIDN'T KNOW THAT. HE WAS DEALING WITH HIS FELLOW MECHANIC. I TOLD HIM THAT ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A NEW THERMOSTAT HOUSING TO LEAK SO SOON. AFTER I REPLACED 2 DAYS AGO, THE LOOK IN HIS FACE, TOLD ME EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. SO I TOOK MY CAR TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION TO GET MY STATE INSPECTION DONE...I DIDN' T EVEN WANT TO GIVE THEM ONE STAR. TRUE SCAM ARTYST THERE

I'd like to give 5 stars to Carstop! Not only did they get me in this morning on short notice for my annual vehicle inspection, mechanical and emissions, but also pointed out issues unrelated to my inspection that I should address in the future. The employees, Sam, Jason, Mike, Tony, and Tim were pleasant and accommodating, answering all of my questions with professionalism and in a way that was easily understandable. I used the coupon which i had received in a mailing and saved considerable money! Thank you, Carstop!!!

Nice people, but $92.42 for a regular passenger vehicle inspection is a bit much. State and safety inspection should not cost more than $75. Highest I have ever paid.

Great service and highly recommend. Car Stop reviewer a car I was buying and brought several technicians on the car to ensure they covered anything. If you re looking for anything automotive related go to Car Stop.

I've been coming here for almost 1year now. They're ALWAYS courteous and go out of their way to thank their regular customers. I got gourmet "Thank You" brownies in the mail once from them! Super cool. It's a family owned and operated place with knowledgeable technicians. They've NEVER charged me for anything I didn't need or want. Zero pressure! Their prices are fair for the high quality of service and they even have free loaner vehicles should you end up needing one. Their availability is wonderful. The longest I've ever had to wait for an appointment was maybe 2-3 days and they are realistic with their time estimates for work completion. And yes, they really do have snacks and coffee in their lobby while you wait While I do wish they had discounts for military veterans like my old mechanic did... I honestly have zero complaints. Oh, and they do accept Synchrony Car Care credit cards if you have one. If you're looking for a new "go-to" shop I highly recommend Car Stop Inc. They have exceeded my expectations over the past year.

Love this place! Very reasonable, so accommodating and friendly .They gave my husband a rental car so he wouldn't have to sit and wait. After 5+ years of using Car Stop, I can say they are amazing! I've moved away from the local area and still travel there just because the workmanship, customer service, and even attitude of this establishment exceeds my already higher standards of where I'll spend my hard earned money. They are THE best!

I had my car towed in for an emergency tire replacement. They got me a tire in record time and took my dog into their air conditioned waiting room and gave her water. Extremely nice people and very honest repair shop! If and when I live in the area they will be my mechanic. Highly recommend!Service: TiresService: Tires

Always a pleasure! Conscientious, courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating, always. They work with you and your schedule every time. They have great prices and are honest. Today I went for an oil change and to have a tire looked at, they took me right upon my phone call. My husband had just commented last night that he did not like a sound we had been hearing lately in our car, I did not even bring that up when I went in (I forgot about it actually), they heard it when they pulled the car in, diagnosed it gave me an estimate all without prompting. Their prices have always been fair, and their specials are GREAT! Your car gets washed with every visit, they think of everything, to make your visit as easy and comfortable as possible. They are probably the only place I have gone to that I feel comfortable with everything they say and I don't worry I am being cheated. I would highly recommend Car Stop to anyone, they have become our family's go to Auto Shop.

I recently had a flat tire in Bangor PA. I pulled into Car Stop on a Saturday and they appeared to be closed. However there were 3 gentlemen outside the garage, so I proceeded to pull in and see if they could help me. They took a quick look at my tire and said they could help me out. Not only did they fix my tire at a great reasonable price, but they also showed me to their waiting area, turned on all the lights for my children and I and offered us coffee And donuts. Not only did their work on my tire hold up perfectly but they made me feel so safe and comfortable while they repaired my vehicle.I recommend this shop not only for their great work but for their kindness as well.

Looking for a new mechanic, I decided to go to Car Stop. After visiting only once, I could tell they cared about me as a customer. The head mechanic showed me in person exactly what was wrong with my car (I would only recommend that you ask exactly what you want to be done). Afterwards, they offered me free refreshments and gave me a bag of apples. I appreciated the friendly customer service of the front desk and other workers. Overall, great experience I highly recommend.

Excellent, fast, professional service with a smile. The owner always makes time to repair my issues even when I call at the very last minute! They are happy to help you no matter what is wrong with your car or truck. There is a comfortable, clean waiting room with coffee and water if you want to wait. If you wish they can give you a ride home instead which is really nice. You will not be disappoint.

My first impression wasn't a good one. They weren't wearing masks first off. I felt robbed after i got my car. They won't give you an estimate, they wanna do the work first than charge you which i didn't feel comfortable with. My car needed tires, but they don't really look new to me. I told them about an 02 sensor and some sort of fan belt which is why my check engine light is on. They didn't check it or fix it. My engine light is still on. They felt the need to charge me for putting in a new head light bulb that i could of easily put on that i had bought across the street because my low beam was out. They charged me for labor for putting in the bulb i was gonna install myself. They said i needed new hoses, a timing belt, an alignment, oil change, and all that. They did fix the loud noise my car was making when it ran. I also told them about an issue with my steering wheel. After 40mph it would start to shimmy. After i got it back it was running ok until i got up to 40-45mph. My steering wheel was shaking violently, way worse than when i brought it there. They seemed to rush me off the phone when i said other things that i knew were wrong with my car that needed to be fixed/repaired, and they had my car for 2 days. That was nice of them to give me a ride home and pick me up after to get my car. That's a nice service. Also, Rude comments were made about my grandmother which i did not appreciate at all. Would not recommend. Also, i recommended my grandmother to go there for tires. They brought her car into the bay and had showed her that there was a transmission line leak. But my grandmother has her car in the shop all the time and never had that issue. They had to of tampered with the transmission lines. They we're trying to get more money out of the both of us.

Terrible! They said I had a 6 problems refusing to do the inspection if I don t fixed. I didn t fixed they changed me $100 for not passing on inspection. I drove to Jack Williams. And they said nothing is wrong with it the car. Professional ,courteous and reliable business. Have taken 3 cars here from major work to simple oil changes. Work done quick, clean and professionally. Everyone they're is always pleasant. Definitely highly recommended business. Check out their Car care Club also with the investment. 5 stars plus!!!! Add on to this review was there again for a oil change. There is no beating the customer service that they have. Always professional and courteous. Do Yourself a favor....visit car stop for your auto repairs and maintenance. They also give a car wash and sometimes free lil gifts. 5stars is not enough!!!!!!!!!!!

From the phone call to seek service, arriving and walking in the door, in greeting at arrival, in handing over my car, I am treated with friendly and professional courtesy. If I wait, it's pleasant and quick. If I drop my car off, they will offer me a ride to my home (local:). The job is always done satisfactorily and if something is not settling right, they are quick to remedy the issue whatever it may be. Repeat customer. The owners and family are wonderful people and make sure their staff is just as wonderful.

The staff at the Car Stop is knowledgeable and friendly. I took my truck there for tires and other repairs. The work was completed quickly and correctly. I was consulted before any additional work was completed. My truck has never driven better! I highly recommend the Car Stop for anyone looking to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic shop.

This business is family-owned and it's evident in the way they handle their clients (flexible, personable, and accommodating). I took my SUV in for new tires last week; I was immediately greeted by a technician (Dave?) who was friendly, attentive, and quick to service my vehicle. My toddler liked his doughnut. And my tires are working out nicely.

Everyone at Car Stop is amazing!! I had a pretty large amount of work done on my car that took over a week. They allowed me to use one of their loaners the entire time, kept calling and updating me, and their son Sam is so professional! He even gave me tow companies to call and picked me up when they had the loaner car ready. Natalia even made me an amazing, hand knitted beanie that I love. Best all around customer service and great people to work with!! Thank you for everything!!

Great experience from start to finish! They were able to get me scheduled quickly. On the morning I arrived, the work was completed quickly. Fair pricing, and comfortable customer waiting area. And... I got birthday cake! Would definitely recommend!

I've gone to Car Stop two times in the past six months and was extremely satisfied on both accounts. Oil change took 20 minutes no problem. When I needed my car serviced, it was picked up the next morning and I was provided with a new loaner car. By far the best service and work quality in the area.

Car Stop is a great auto repair shop. The staff is very helpful, they do excellent work. I've never had any issues when bringing my car in; and they provide a very savory membership deal that can be helpful to many people, especially those who have frequent car troubles like myself.

They set the standard for quality and customer service. They know everyone by name. Their work is incredible. Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics are super friendly and helpful. New to pa. Found this amazing shop. I came to them needing brakes. They found more issues and solved them cheaply and quickly. My car drives like it s on rails now. It hugs turns like never before. Highly recommend this shop. Affordable high quality work. They even gave me a loaner car to get around while car was in. Thank you car stop

We were on a long trip out of state and our tire popped. This was the closest auto shop from where we were. They had great reviews so we stopped. Everyone was extremely friendly from the moment we got there. They ordered us a brand new tire for a great price and got us on our way as soon as possible. Definitely worth it to stop here if you have auto trouble.

I had an overall great experience. I called them for a state inspection and they were able to get me in under 24 hours.I did have many issues with my car that were identified in the inspection. The mechanic walked me under the vehicle and identified exactly what the issues were. He made me understand for myself.They also support the military and gave me a discount on the bill.

Stopped here yesterday to see about used tires, advised us he'd rather miss the sale & us get new tires but understood we were in a crunch&found us two of the best looking used tires he had&threw in an extra just encase!! Even stayed past closing to finish mounting&balancing & getting the car taken care of for us! Amazing price, amazing customer service will deff be going back& recommending!! Thank you for the great service

Just got one of my cars inspected at Car Stop and my experience was great! The staff is very friendly, the facility is nice and clean, they offer a shuttle or loaner which is awesome, they got my car in right away and got my car done within the hour! Will definitely bring my cars here from now on and refer everyone here!!

Took my truck to car stop just by chance n I'm glad I did. Very friendly , helpful, courteous n professional. Sam at the front desk was very nice n very helpful. I may have found my new go to spot.And Jason was meticulous right down to putting the stickers on straight.
