Ordered a new powerglide and converter for the old kammback on Tuesday. Got a call Wednesday morning and it was ready. Made four passes with it last night and I was impressed. Picked up half a tenth and carried the wheels for thirty feet or so. Yeehaa, thank you Transmission Specialties !!

I can't tell anything negative,I had a 400 rebuilt about 3 years ago,And it's bullet proof,I showed up recently to get a 700 rebuilt,And they just don't have the parts,

Can I pick ZERO stars? Avoid at all cost unless you want a U-Haul or just parts.. Joe quoted me $4800.00 verbally for a BMW transmission rebuild I asked him if I needed to get it in writing and he said no... The car sat on the lift for at least 4 months while "the part was on back order from Germany" That was fine.. I told him I had another car to use.. but when the part came in he charged me $500.00 dollar more and didn't give me a reason.. On top of that the transmission honked when shifting from 3rd-4th and he told me to bring it in.. It sat for a whole week with no update.. I called him and he said he found nothing wrong.. said that the honk was a vibration.. well the vibration turned into a slip.. I quickly traded in the car to a dealer not wanting to deal with this guy further. Really check Angie's List before going there.. he seems nice but isn't. And where are the other reviews?? It's because they likely changed the name from Passiac County Transmission, call them and get put on hold and listen they didn't bother to change the on hold music.

Buyer bewareI ordered a turbo 400 TRUBO 850 horsepower transmissionI should have called and asked more questionsAbout what I was getting for my moneySo it Started slipping after 250 miles and was burnt up insideTook it to my local transmission shop only to find out the transmission was mostly stock not some heavy-duty monster transmission as I thought I was purchasingWhat a joke to me to find out that my money I have worked for was a wasteThey claim they have heavy duty clutches in the transmission in there add the only Heavy Duty clutch with 3rd gearTransmission Specialties technician explain to me that all of their Transmissions only have a heavy duty 3rd gear even their race Transmissions the rest of the transmission is stock so what did I pay forTo say the last they wouldn't do anything about it buyer beware know what you're buying don't be deceived as I feel I have been extremely deceived

Beware of this company they built me a torque converter provided poor customer service when they built my converter they did not get the hub straight wore out my front pump on my torque flight transmission did not want to take any responsibility I would stay away from this company

Justin is a good guy gets on the phone and answer questions.I bought a 2 speed turbo glide and works great.Fast trans brake and would buy from them again.

Th400 S550 Mustang swap kits don't hold up near to advertised HP. $10,000 later and my trans is still a pos and won't last over 800 miles
