My car all of the sudden just would not start. Put a new battery in it and it worked for a week then nothing took it to Barrs auto electric turned out to be a bad cable to the battery. They were super friendly and reasonably priced had imy car back the next day. Very happy with them. Would recommend to anyone who has a electrical issue with their car.

They got my driver's side window to go up when it would not. It was the middle of December in Pennsylvania so it was very cold and at the end of the week it was going to get colder. So to me they do a great job.

I have a belt driven starter/generator for a nearly 60 year old garden tractor.Recently, the bearings started making noise and the generator seized up.I googled auto electric/alternator repair and found Barrs in the listings.I called and gave the description of my generator and asked if they repair them.The gentleman replied in the affirmative and told me to bring it in.I picked it up a week later and it had a fresh coat of paint along with an itemized list of everything repaired and replaced in a rebuild.I will reinstall it and see how it operates.*Edit*. I installed the generator and it works perfectly....starts the engine quickly and charges the battery fine as well.I plan to continue to use Barrs for future auto-electric repairs.

Have had numerous vehicles taken there and have given them many chances but everytime they don't fix the issues they are asked to and end up charging hundreds for stuff the vehicles don't need in the first place. And I've gone to them at least 10 times trying to give them another chance, since I went to church with the owner my whole life. Unfortunately I have to say I would go anywhere but here.Services: Battery service, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I was directed to Barr's Electric after my vehicle would not start. The people I had met there were absolutely the most caring, friendly and professional group I have ever met. Being from out of town I was made to feel like family from Rick Barr the owner and his wife and employees as well. I highly recommend Barr's Electric to any and all who need help with their vehicle and with their soul as well !!!!Five Star in my book !!! Barr's Auto Electric is the perfect place for your automotive repairs. They rebuilt may starter for half the price of a new one. Couldn't be happier with the service. Nice people, great service.

They have no clue what they are doing my truck has been in the shop for over 2 months and they have no clue what the they are doing. They are bad at communicating with me and are very short with their responses. I do not recommend this place
