I have been coming to this location since 2019 and was always able to get efficient and courteous oil changes. Unfortunately it has slowly gone downhill with slower turnaround time. Last time they spilled oil all over the inside of my vehicle and didn t put my headlight case back in correctly- it s just sticking out vibrating not even screwed in and also of course not working. Also, the cameras are broken so you can t see what they re doing any more. After I get my headlight fixed I m going to find a new oil change place! Disappointing.Big shout out to Joey for always being so friendly and helpful! Wish I could take you with me!

Thanks to Dillon and Joey for making my first oil change a great experience! The whole team was very professional. I had no idea what to expect but seemed very impressed by the process. No complaints about the wait time because I m sure I d have to wait at any oil change place!

Fast oil change and the price was very reasonable. The mechanics were really friendly too and they weren't really pushy about the extras.Will definitely be returning in the future!

Edit to reply: First come first serve means you would have moved me to a different bay considering I got here before 6 of the other cars that got services AFTER i pulled up. How is it first come first served when you let one car sit in one lane for 2 hours while new customer pull up after that car. That's simply not first come first serve.......Bad customer service. I pulled up at 3:08pm, sat in my car until 430pm until an associate approached me to tell me that the car in front of me was getting their transmission fixed while 6 other cars pulled up after me and got serviced. No one bothered to be proactive and maybe think about moving the car that had been sitting for an hour and a half to the next open bay so they can get serviced - since they have been waiting in line before the six other cars that pulled up after me. I got out at hour 2 and asked why wasn t I told earlier or moved to a different bay. I asked if I could help getting a discount since I ve waited for 2 hours and was told yes and they will see what they can. At the end all they could provide was the $10 off coupon that I could print off myself online and that they offer free to anybody else. If you wanna waste your time by playing the Bay Game and waste 2 hours, go to this Valvoline.

I had to wait over an hour and a half to get my oil changed, despite there only being a few cars ahead of me in line. They definitely do not hire enough workers, or motivate them to do their jobs quickly and efficiently. The whole point of going here is to get it done quickly without an appointment. I won t be going back.

Was just here for an oil change. The guy working on checking my air filter dropped one of the screws on my air filter. He eventually found it and went to put it back in. He dropped it again. He then appeared to grab it and put it in. However, after I drove away and double-checked that both bolts were present, I discovered I was missing one. I understand that maybe you could not find it, but to not say anything and pretend that you correctly did your job is unethical and potentially hazardous for my vehicle. My concern is for future mistakes he makes and tells no one about!

I went to get an oil changed today. Joey and Eric were the employees who worked on my vehicle. Both men demonstrated complete professionalism along with phenomenally outstanding customer service that surpassed any expectations I had during the process. They worked together on my car and focused their undivided attention on me. I ve been getting my car service at Valvoline since 2017 all throughout Portland. But this location truly blew it out of the water.I m almost sad oil changes aren t more frequent because I want to go back just to have the opportunity to speak to them again. Such warm, kind, thoughtful, and intelligent people who are educated in car maintenance and communicated the process every step of the way.The wait was no longer than 15 mins to get seen and from the oil change, I was in and out within 10 mins.If you want a quick, enjoyable, and knowledgeable experience getting an oil change I highly recommend seeing Joey and Eric! The vibes were immaculate, joyful and pure!!

So overpriced. 374.83 for a oil and filter change. I change oil every 2 weeks for the last 1 1/2 years and never have I paid this high.. For normally a 34.00 filter they charged 99.00 . I would not recommend this place to any one So Ssd.

I always have a great experience at valvoline and I would've given them 5 stars, but I had to wait around 30 minutes, so plan ahead. This location is always busy when I'm there. I want to give a shout out to their worker Jesus. He was kind and friendly. Hopefully, they keep him around :)

I had been coming here for some years now since 2018/2019. All my oil changes have been exceptional. I had a small problem with a flap hanging after his location did an oil change . They were super kind and patient and willing to resolve the issue. Shot my trust slightly, but quickly restored! Thank you valvoline!! Much respect <3

A few days ago I went in to have my oil changed when a tech named Joey took a look at my transmission fluid and saw it was really dirty! I had no idea it was as bad as it was and once he showed me i decided to get the service done. They performed the service super quick and since then my car is shifting so much better and driving so much better! This team does amazing and I m very grateful for Joey he s great!!! Very very happy customer!

Don t care about your car go here!!!! If you don t care about money go here!!! Worst service ever. Got an oil change didn t change the oil filters. Told me they did. I wrote my initials on the oil filter to see if they put a new one on and they did not. Sham sham sham.

(I mistakenly put this review on the Powell Blvd location, which is the good location and I'm moving it here:)Went here for my last oil change after avoiding it for over a year because of some overly flirty employee. He wasn't there anymore and the new crew was really nice but they told me I had an oil leak. When I took it to a mechanic, I was informed they put the wrong oil in my car and it cost an extra few hundred dollars to take care of it. Again, staff was friendly but I'm disappointed by my last experience here.

I was there 45 minutes total including wait time. I had a Groupon for $73 full synthetic oil change which was really nice. the staff is all really nice and professional. I did ask them not to take out my air/cabin filters and show me so I saved a few minutes. these guys were quick and efficient. always appreciated!

This visit needed a new headlight lamp. With my car was a bit of a project but great teamwork won the day. Every associate was courteous and friendly. They all work efficiently while enjoying their job. I will continue to use this location. More than happy customer!

Want to get an oil change and other services without worrying about the price but you get dealership quality service technicians ? Come to Valvoline IOC on Weilder by Lloyd Center. They replaced my side markers and replaced all air filters (cabin/engine) after my full Valvoline full synthetic oil change on my Lexus ES 350 which I usually take to the dealership and I couldn't be happier. I saved a lot of money which I love . I highly recommend.

A very disappointing first time experience using Valvoline service in this location. Shortly after oil change, droplets of fresh oil leak stains were found where the car was parked or even just for a quick stop (the car never leaked or left any oil stain prior to this service). Drove back to the location 2 hours after the service, there they checked and found something. I felt something was done to the car and when it was finished, someone (named Jesus?) came over and spoke a bunch of technical gibberish that I completely do not understand. When I clarified, he said no leak and something about dealership and that he will ask manager, Dillon to close the case. I asked is that all, and he said yea. After all the trouble caused from this oil change and the time/effort taken to escalate issue and go back again to the location (not even close to my home), all they did was not directly admitting their mistake and not even an apology offered for causing this inconvenience. I left with a feeling of disgust and would never go back to Valvoline, or at least this location for their poor and low quality job done.

Awesome place to get an oil change and some other services done. The manager Dillon is very good at his job. I stopped by for an oil change and he recommended a few additional services. I ve seen many feedbacks that valvoline tries to rip you off with recommendations, however I do not agree with those. In my case, honda dealerships also recommended all those services during last service and during an inspection.I would like to provide critical feedback regarding the online wait times for this location and suggest improvements in this area. I have noticed that the wait times displayed online are not accurate and no employee except the manager has informed customers about the actual wait times or guided them to a queue with a shorter wait time. I would appreciate it if the wait times were updated regularly to reflect the actual waiting time. During my recent service, which was expected to take about an hour, I had ample time to observe these issues faced by other customers

i ve been a long time customer and never had anything but good service and good prices until now I always bring my own fluid in and they drain my old fluid dispose of it installed my new filter and my oil and they don t charge me an arm and a leg very fair again I say until now! I can t believe that they think they can charge $100.00 to pull my transmission drain plug drain the fluid and refill with my own fluid ? it s just ridiculous when JL charges $25-35 for the same thing, i mean they are just turning a wrench a couple times and pouring some fluid that s it. They have lost a long time customer and they couldn t care less!

A rare 5 complete stars from me. Now this is why I usually give 4 stars, to save the 5 star reviews for exceptional above and beyond service, customer care, knowledgeable and friendly staff etc. I recieved professional service with a smile while the young team of specialist maintained high quality and attention to detail in 95 degree weather, possibly hotter as staff are conducting duties near hot car engines. They offer double the inspection checks and overall service and their top competitors and all for close to have the price. The cool thing is I called and asked about coupons and the immediately text me a digital coupon for a $15 saving. That's not all, they do the entire service while I sat in my car. I do respect and appreciate the transparency and skillset performing live in front of there customers. Hats off to Valvoline, the happy place to service your car with car, and congratulations for earning the rare 5 star rating from me. I believe they are the 2nd business that successfully earned a 5 star overall performance.

Service is good once you get in but be prepared to wait two hours. I sat in line and they had 3 other cars who arrived after me go through before me. They need to figure out their line management system. Incredibly frustrating as a long time customer. They made it right though and gave me $25 off the service. Appreciated that

Great service! Last time I came it took almost two hours (which was fine with me). But today it was less than 30 mins even with another car in line before me. Everyone was very friendly. Jocelyn and Dillon were great.

On Sunday March 12 i had mistakenly overfilled my engine oil and went to the Valvoline in the Lloyd Center area around 5:30 PM to have the extra oil drained. As soon as I pulled in Malik greeted me with a nice smile and as I frantically told him my problem he was very kind and assured me that they will help me out as soon as they finished with the car ahead of me. I was nervous because they were closing at 6:00PM and might not get to my car. He told me not to worry because they actually close at 6:30 and the job will only take 15-20 minutes. I really appreciated his professional and friendly demeanor. Kegan and Malik and their colleague whose name I forgot provided me with excellent service and even checked my tire pressure for me. They did it all for FREE even though I expected to pay for their service. I highly recommend this location with this great team.
