I was lucky enough to have my son-in-law make me aware of this establishment. After being quoted $999 to get a new alternator at another shop. And being told it would take 4 hours to put a new alternator in my car, I took my car to United Battery after talking to my son-in-law. It took a little over an hour to get my new alternator and a new belt for $300. The customer service was outstanding and the staff was amazing. Thank you for being an honest dealer. You have a customer forever.

Great place! Prices are even better than the parts chains out there. And you get battery pros too. TT took his time with me to choose the best replacement battery for my old car. And then he installed it quickly while explaining the process thoroughly. Great asset for the company.

This place is really well run, super friendly, hard working and very knowledgeable. I don t know why I didn t have high expectations for this place, but they are excellent. I needed to have a battery exchanged on my camper van. I brought a new battery to them and they installed it in a couple hours. They called right when it was done and charged me a totally fair labor fee. Jason and Tim were great to work with. I will always go to them for batteries from now on.

Was looking for Deka Batteries and YES, they have them for automotive. Deka makes batteries for heavy machinery and they last a long time. Yes, you'll pay more, but you will also have a trusted battery for a much longer time.

These guys are true professionals and helped my husband and I out when we were in dire need of assistance with our Dodge Ram. We live on the Oregon Coast and needed to replace our alternator in order to get back home that night. We called in the morning and they were able to help us with a same day repair when no one else would on a Saturday. Fantastic service and friendly staff - Special shout out to Gonzalo who replaced the alternator for us. Would recommend this shop to family and friends.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Here are the pros and cons.Pros:1. Friendly! They greet you fast and with curiosity. Even if your phone is dying, they give you THEIR OWN CHARGER ! Now THAT is service!2. Pricing! Alternator replacement-Kia Dealerships: 2 Days/ $702 dollarsHere: 2 Hours/ $250 dollarsHOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!? 3. Fast! They really take your time into consideration. They gave me a worst estimate, 5 hours and got it done in LESS THAN 2!4. Cleanliness. This place is really clean. Even the Bathroom does NOT feel like it belongs to a couple of mechanics.Cons (If I offered one, it s very small)1. Simple waiting area. (I don t think they expect people to stay for too long. ) They do have chairs, plugs, Offer Their OWN chargers! They don t have a T.V, but bring your own devices.They make sure you feel comfortable.Coming again. Recommend!

Excellent. Brought in an alternator for them to swap into my vehicle, they did it at a fair price. They were totally OK with installing something I brought in myself (bought online), some other places I called said they wouldn't do that. Shoutout to Gonzalo who was really helpful and fixed up my car quick and answered all the questions I had about my vehicle. These guys are experienced and know their stuff. They have a battery-focused store too if you need battery-related parts. 5 stars

Best experience I have ever had dealing with mechanics. So sweet and gave me the vibe they all were all family behind the desk. Rich was the main person who helped me but I met three gentlemen who ages varied from 18 to 50 and each one had a huge smile and so willing to help me in my time of need. Honestly I told them I felt like applying for a job there just to come back and see them again. Truly restored my faith in humanity and what great service can be. Highly recommended

Took in a battery and was unsure of status. Tech charged it. Didn't try to oversale. He made sure to have a new battery on hand in case the charge didn't work. He listened to me. I will go back when I need a battery. Courteous friendly and professional staff.Fast forward to 2024.Needed another battery. Went in. Rich assisted me. Tim completed the install. Efficient, competent staff, and effective! Minimal wait. Excellent service. Great price value. Clean shop. Ample parking.

These folks KNOW batteries. Their recommendations are useful and accurate. They keep a wide variety of 12v and 6v batteries in stock. Excellent customer service.

This shop is great. They go above and beyond diagnose and repair your problems. They are knowledgeable in new and old vehicles. I have been using this shop for over 20 yrs. Pricing is also fair. 5 stars

My experience was okay. I tried to turn in two batteries and buy a new one, they gave me three dollar credit on a new one. I paid about 152 total. The customer service was fast. My new battery has a lower cca than the one I turned in. Oh! and they had to scan a copy of my id for me to be able to turn in two batteries. Honestly never had to do that when visiting any auto parts stores, did not really feel comfortable about that and I honestly feel like I spent too much.

The guys at United Battery are amazing. They usually have what I need. If not, it only takes them a couple of days to get it. They are always polite and courteous. Not to mention extremely knowledgeable of their field of business.

Visit here for ALL your battery needs. The prices might feel a little high but they re honestly extremely competitive. And ITS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!! They also warranty your battery and put it in for you. Fast, friendly service. I buy both new and used batteries here. You won t be disappointed.

United Battery is friendly, professional and trustworthy. I thought I had a bad starter ( my battery was fairly new) but Sean (?) at United determined it was actually a failing battery. They charged it for me at no cost and gave me a report so that I could ask for an exchange from the original seller. Highly recommend.

I came here in an emergency the other day because a truck I purchased had a dead battery, so I thought it was bad and they were the only place that had a new battery, so they checked it for me before they installed a new one and saw my connections were loose so they were honest with me and told me the battery wasn't bad. I was willing to buy a battery but I'm glad that they were honest with me, now when I need a battery or when I get asked if I know of a battery place I'm gonna send them here ..... thank you Gonzalo

These guys have done a really good job for me across the years when I go to get a new battery I go there sometimes they can help me out with a little bit of custom installation problems seems like they have a lot of people that go there to buy things and to get their batteries fit into the vehicle I've seen RVs there as well as different types of cars. Kudos great job

This place is Awesome. I've been here a few times.. I purchased a battery a few years ago in and out took about 10 minutes. I also swung by there once my alternator light was on they yanked it out stuff the new one under the hood and it's been working perfectly ever since, that's been a couple of years. So today I stopped to ask a couple of questions about electrical stuff and before I could asked if they'd take a look at my car, they had the hood open and then explained what was going on. If you have any electrical battery alternator problems this is the place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

They helped my son (University of Portland student) today with a new battery purchase. Awesome service at a more than fair price! Can't always say that these days. Sean was honest and service oriented. I highly recommend them!
