I have done a smattering of business with these folks over decades usually for companies, but once or twice for myself. Always been treated well and fairly. I recently had a vehicle slip out of the bosom of Lexus' CPO care and returned again after maybe 15 years absence. Same sense of really good people and all the things that go with that.

I ve been taking my car to Pacific Car Care since I was 16 years old and I always feel like it s my dad, uncle, or big brother who is taking care of my car. The owner, Ken, is such a lovely person. On my most recent visit, Ken welcomed me in thirty minutes before they closed, got my car looked at, and took care of an issue I had in 5 minutes, then even checked my oil and filled up my washer fluid while he was at it. All I paid was $5 for some small parts. He likely saved me hundreds by finding a solution that didn t require ordering parts, and he showed me exactly what was wrong and how he fixed it. These guys are just the best and I would recommend them to anyone I know!

If you're getting basic maintenance done, they're probably fine, but for other repairs I would not recommend.I came after someone recommending this place. I called and explained the issue with my car over the phone. He said it would be an easy fix, and we made an appointment.I arrived, and he asked what the issue was, interrupted halfway through the explanation, and said he needed a day to do repairs. I tried to repeat the issue, and he interrupted again, saying he knew what he was doing.He called the next day and told me he did an inspection, not a repair, as discussed. A sensor needed replaced and he needed another day with the car to do it. Alarm bells were going off, but I reluctantly decided to go ahead.After spending a couple hundred dollars, I pick up the car, and nothing is fixed. It turns out the issue was the air filter, as expected. A basic inspection should have spotted it. Had it inspected at another shop, and they replaced it for about $80.A friend had car maintenance done here recently as well and has a similar story.

Great service and fair prices. They troubleshot and fixed my issue in under 24 hours. They also did a deep dive and helped me with a game plan for some future repairs - very happy with the all-around customer service and the quality of work as I'm trying to keep my paid-in-full car running for several more years!

Have been a client for over 20 years. Have referred many business partners and friends to Pacific Car Care as well. They are efficient in their repairs and only do repairs that are needed. Priced appropriately and backed by good service and pride of work.

My husband went in after having his check engine light on for weeks and everything was quick, the mechanics seemed very honest, and they went above and beyond for good prices. It was cheaper than the estimate they gave us and they did extras they didn t have too. I d recommend.

Customer reception is excellent: low-keyed, no pressures to sell, comfortable pace, friendly. Service was completed in less than expected time. Everything was cleared with me as service progressed. Highly recommend. Will return as needed for my 12-year-old car.

They take my concerns seriously and always tell me if a fix is urgent or can be put off. They are very reasonably priced, their work is always bullet proof and their staff are kind, direct and shoot straight. I always feel taken care of and confident that I got what I paid for. I have been a customer for years and will continue to come back. 10/10

I am very pleased with the service. The knowledgeable attention to detail is unsurpassed. I had to have the engine replaced in my Jeep. I was told it would be about 3 weeks. I had it back in 2 weeks. This all took place during a snow/ice event which lasted over a week. I am throughly impressed!

A close friend recommended this place who is very mechanically inclined and picky about his vehicles. Pacific Car Care had me in and back out on the road in no time. Explained clearly what the issues were and even took me around my truck to show me the work they did and what else is needed further down the road. Very honest.

I don't have enough good things to say about this shop. I have worked primarily with Ken and Mike. They are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient enough to explain what is happening to me. The shop is very clean it is obvious they take pride in what they do. I live in a town outside of Portland and it is worth the drive to take my vehicle here.

I unknowingly purchased a lemon car from a used car lot. The crew at Pacific was instrumental in successfully returning the car to the used car lot with their extensive and extremely detailed report of the problems with the car they bought. They saved me over ten thousand dollars.

I was so pleased with Pacific Car Care. I can see why my friends recommended them to me. When my truck wouldn't start, I thought my week was ruined, but I had AAA tow it to Pacific Car Care. They gave me an estimate to determine the problem right away, and called me a short time later to tell me they figured it out and could have it back to me the same day. From tow to go, less than four hours. That's remarkable! Excellent communication and customer care. My new mechanic!

I had a good experience with Pacific Car Care. I d especially like to thank Elmer for his excellent kind service.After months of my mechanic working on my car and not being able to figure out what the problem was PCC was able to pinpoint a couple issues. I used the shop a few weeks ago. The owner ken was pretty nice did a walk around of the truck with me and pointed out someIssues I spent about $1500 on a control arm ,a new starter and a door control mechanism . I drove Truck to work next day, only to find the starting issue had not been takingCare of even though I had paid for a" diagnostic of the issue" I struggled through the starting issues for a few weeks however, unfortunately, after attempting a U-turn down the road from the shop, by where I live I bottom the rear axle out on the median and had to have the vehicle towed after hours. I used a tow truck They recommended a very nice man and they let me know where to drop the keys off after hours in there slot I put the keys in the provided envelope with a note and dropped it into the slot As the front desk had told me to after calling them about an hour before they close then after not hearing from them the next day I called to find out they hadn't located my keys. They lost my keys. Or if you ask them, they must've never gotten dropped off perhaps a black hole exist in front of the drop off slot I don't know .........They refused to replace them and they're taking no responsibility for there loss I asked the front desk man to check the cameras as a place in the keys with the remote with the money that I really didn't need to spend being a young, family man and not having money to lose they said the owner would check the cameras however after almost a week, calling every day and them saying that he hadn't checked yet or they hadn't got to it yet they finally told me he did but didn't have the angle with me dropping the keys off even though you can clearly see the camera pointed directly at the area . They told me I needed to have a brand new transmission should be about $4900. It seems odd because I only bottomed out on the rear transaxle, and It's nowhere near the transmission i can't pick the truck back until I pay them $125 dollar diagnostic fee. And refusing to waive any of it for losing my keys so obviously, I'm not having a shop do my work on the truck anymore or any vehicle as they take no responsibility I should've took it to a different shop after reading other reviews on here so thats my bad but I would absolutely not recommend using the shop .

I went in for what I thought was a bad alternator but they diagnosed a bad drive belt which saved me $$. An untrustworthy mechanic would have upsold. They didnt AND got it done in a few hours. I'll be going back.

Pacific Car Care is second to none. They are so quick, efficient, and moderately affordable. I m ALWAYS willing to pay more for a shop that Does good work, tells the truth, and doesn t try to talk over my head because I m a woman. My cars have run better since I ve been coming here, and they truly make me feel cared for.I ve called multiple times with short notice requests, and they ve always been accommodating, they have free WiFi, and they re always a hoot to talk to. Plus, they ve got a shop dog who is the sweetest!The thing is folks: when people do it right the first time, they don t have to do it again. Ken, the owner, has a motto, We haven t done our jobs right, until our clients refer other clients to us. He will go above and beyond to make sure you re cared for.Hustle on down to PCC right now. You won t regret it!

I know nothing about cars or repair shops, but I have been to Pacific Car Care many times now. The first time was simply because of proximity, but now it's the only shop I bring my Honda Accord to. They are very thorough with their diagnostics and great at explaining everything to customers after the fact.Moreover, they helped me breakdown all issues with my vehicle and helped me to prioritize what I could afford to pay for at the time as well as provided detailed information on how the other needed maintenance would effect my car down the road.Services: Transmission, Auto battery maintenance, Oil change

I find Pacific Car Care to be trustworthy and attentive to what's important to me, keeping my car healthy. I have never felt "over-sold" like I did when I went to the car dealers' service centers or even a drive-through maintenance place. I hate that feeling of being "sold" something instead of being talked to directly about what my car really needs when it needs it, and why. I've been taking my cars to Pacific Car Care for over a decade. In my experience, the team are competent, straightforward communicators who are clear to me about what their recommendations for my car are, whether it's a safety issue or a mechanical one.Service: Oil change

This is a genuinely honest and incredibly fair shop. Pacific car care went above and beyond making the repairs to my vehicle and then telling me what would potentially need to be worked on before winter. They even put premium gas in my tank. Thank you Pacific Car Care!

I have VIDEO of the unprofessionalism displayed by someone of a Hispanic man, heavy-set, having long hair, similar to a biker, who treated me with total disdain and seemed to be a racist.The person was being very condescending and disrespectful with how he had treated my simple inquiry of a tuneup!I simply asked if he could provide me with a piece of paper describing what the price of the quoted $135 dollars involved for a diagnosis my car, which I drove to the establishment.He proceeded to get even more condescending and even angry, when I mentioned that I was simply inquiring about the price which explained the FUTURE service. (This, so I could show it to my husband. He began displaying nervous symptoms and was obviously bothered by this.)He then stated that he couldn t do that! I reminded him, that when one buys something, or is going to compare prices, that this would be the reasoning for my request.I then asked to speak with the manager for clarity. He again stated No .I then asked for the owner, in which he replied negatively that he wasn t going to do so.He further stated that I could come in on the next day to see him/her. He then also added that he would not assist me any further.At that point, I began recording because no one should be treated like that! Period. You can't record , he stated, This is private property so go away! he said.This all happened for a simple inquiry! Hopefully the owner can see the video. and assist this individual with retention training and customer service. It was obvious to me that this man was racist and/ or sexist of his own clientele, or just a down-right rude person, who took out his traumas on me this day!Whatever the case may be, never, in my 26 years of living here in the United States, have I come across such a typical person, who hates, or seems to hate his job, which is in the field of customer service, help, and assisting individuals in auto-motive repair.If the owner sees this message, that kind of staff should be avoided. I believe he just wanted to take my money. ( my opinion). Hopefully, they will be able to manage the temperament of such individuals at their place of work!.
