I go to this place also I normally go when I am ask to drive someone to a parts store. They asked me to take them here. I've liked going here. They have all kinds of little tools to choose from anything like a back scratcher with a magnet to pick up screws with. To a little ratchet set. A bright, little flashlight. And affordable prices .

Actually bought the wrong oil and when I tried to exchange it for the right oil they basically told me to go screw myself. The original oil wasn't opened and I use to be a long time customer. Not anymore. I'll never shop at another O'Reilly as long as I live.. the guy behind the counter has no business working in public..

Saw online that some of their stores carried the oil I m looking for so I stopped by to see if this location had it in stock. Kind of astonished at the response I got, for walking in with a basic question about what oil is in stock the associate wanted nothing to do with it or me -basically said what we have is on the shelf and walked away from the register. 4 people working, not busy. I m confused -I know it s an auto parts store not the four seasons, but I ve never felt so unwelcome and all I did was walk in and politely ask about oil

Had everything in stock that I needed. Was a little Leary about the parking lot as it appears car windows have been broken with all the glass in the parking lot.

I've had a decent experience here before where customer service included greeting me and showing me the part I needed. Today, however, I got sent in a general direction and dismissed when I asked about a certain part I found online in their inventory. They didn't even try to look up the part and said the part I was looking for was universal, should work. I asked about returns and they didn't respond. Meanwhile they greeted others warmly. Something didn't feel right and I won't be back.

Always had good luck here in the past. Downgraded today. No posted hours should have been my red flag. I went with what the website says for store open, which is 7:30 but nope. Lights are on...nobody home. Almost 8, should have drove away sooner now I'm committed. Hopefully by 8:00?

As you'd expect but kinda filthy, and even though I am confident in my immune system and overall health, the employees were possibly sick by their own conversion across the store. That's just FYI for those hyper-concerned individuals that wear masks.I admire their get-it-done attitude, not calling it quits, but many people, including OSHA, would be very upset for not following requirements. That said, every auto parts store is dirty and it won't just stop being engine greasy and such; however, there was a, presumably, homeless individual in the parking lot that asked me for money. She was just sitting there and I didn't feel safe leaving my car unattended.I wish they would have asked her to leave because she doesn't have a vehicle and I doubt she was a customer. She doesn't understand that people that buy auto parts are doing the work themselves, likely to save money. This means that she's barking up the wrong tree, metaphorically.I wished her a great day and she gave me a kind of stink eye.So 3.5 / 5 stars for lacking in certain departments. But I am grateful I could get my quart of motor oil.Was difficult to find in their particular organization choice of oils, and general store layout. There was motor oil in at least 3 places, but only one section had what I needed. (OW-20)That bottle was over 7 dollars and was the cheapest one, O'Reilly brand.Prices: 3.5 stars.Service: 3 stars.Closest parts store, to downtown, that was on my way-ish: 4 stars.

Thanks guys! for nothing. I called today to confirm they do battery recharge service. The employee, lucky I forgot your name, said we don t like to plus we are using it for actual customers right now and won t be free for 3 hours. I purchased my battery from you but you didn t care. So unprofessional. Shout out to the location on burnside and grand. No questions asked they were MORE than ok with doing it for me. Do better

Worst experience I ve ever had at an auto parts store. I don t know much about cars, but I seemed to know more than the lady who helped me. She wasn t interested in helping get my car working, only selling me things that didn t fix my immediate issue.I ve had great experiences at other locations in the past, but this experience makes me doubt I ll ever go back. Certainly not to this store specifically!

It was ok. The counter person tried to be funny and failed to amuse me. And he was a bit scattered..

Pretty good place! The people were very helpful when we were looking for oil for our Suzuki and some oil leak stop, they even told us how to put it in! They gave us some advice on window-wiper fluid as well and antifreeze-coolant mixes. Basically all of the fluids a car needs!

I had a fantastic experience here, thanks to Sherri! I had a lot of questions, and Sherri made sure to answer them quickly and with the utmost professionalism while the store was quite busy. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and helped me figure everything out.I ll be back again because of her.

This orielys has a relaxed friendly staff, ready to help out. Prices are decent compared to other chains and usually able to get parts from other stores with in about 4 hrs of it's out of stock. Although some of the staff are not the know everything gear heads they make up for it with a willingness to help.

I only gave 2 stars because the products available are pretty decent. As far as customer service, this location is severely lacking.I came in with a dead battery and was told I could get one there. Perhaps I should have been a little clearer that I do not have my own shop or tools, but it wasn't until after swiping my card that the man said he didn't know how to install it in my car and could be no further help to me. He pushed the battery (on the floor) closer to me and gave me a "ok so you are leaving now?" face. I started to struggle to pick up the battery, so he sighed and offered to take it to my car.Luckily, I have a travel jumper battery and was able to leave the store. Had I not been able to do so, I would likely still be in that parking lot with a dead battery under the hood and a good battery in the trunk.I returned the battery after going to a dealership that had a better warrinty and installed a cheaper battery. I ended up paying less with labor included. Here's a tip, from a formal salesperson: if you are selling an item that will require tools, suggest the tools. If the customer is adamant on doing it themselves, you will get a bigger sale and you will avoid returns from someone that doesn't know what they are doing.

My car is exploding and I had to grab some coolant real quick close to closing and the lady gave me such a hard time about it being close to closing. There were 2 customers in front of me who were doing much more complicated things than me and I was at the counter before they closed and she gave me attitude the whole time about it. I literally needed coolant to cool down my cars engine. This happened tonight at closing on June 24th. I hate going places close to closing but figured they d be understanding because of the circumstance.

I have to admit, I have a tendency to be harsh on places like this. But most of all the auto stores in the NE Portland Area are top notch. Its WAY better then it use to be.The new staff is great. And they are willing to help you find the part even though they do not have it in stock. (even if it means going somewhere else) I am happy to say, you will be happy going here.GREAT STAFF!

When it was noticed that we had a taillight out we stopped in at this establishment to get a replacement. The gentleman working there named Juan was extremely helpful. I was a bit shy to ask for help replacing the bulb but noticed that he was cheerfully helping another patron so I felt it alright. Juan greatly exceeded my expectations for customer service, making sure the taillight was fixed as is was not an easy-in easy-out replacement. Perhaps the best experience I've had at an automotive store which set the tone for a great camping trip. Thank you Juan!

Well if you have cash you might not want to take it there because they might not accept it because if it looks funny off small or any slight Mark cuts grape or scratch they won't accept it it has to be perfect condition crisp no Benz creases nothing they are money experts and counterfeit and forgery experts with certification and certificates degrees oh wait no they don't know nothing about that huh crazy

In a bind, I stopped at this store for some antifreeze. Although, it was out of pure necessity, I m extremely pleased that I ended up at this location. In the future, for my various auto needs, this will be the shop I return to and for no other reason than Mike. He was friendly and engaging, and I really appreciated his energy. Thanks man!

We've been through 12 vehicles in two years (people who sell cars for under $1000 on Craigslist are all liars and d@mn liars at that). So we're pretty much on a first-name basis with the staff at this O'Reilly's. They've even asked about our cars that we've had ongoing issues with. They don't bat an eyelash when my husband walks in there covered in oil and dirt from being under our latest vehicle that's in the hospice stage.
