I recently had someone scratch my vehicle and take off. I was beyond stressed as it was kinda the icing on my cake. The holidays aren't particularly kind, and I'm away from my loved ones. I looked for a reliable and honest shop and stumbled across this shop. The staff were all immensely kind and empathetic and assured I'd be taken care of and to just focus on feeling less anxious. In a time where I had felt so overwhelmed and felt like I couldn't breathe, these people were so kind and not only provided an immaculate service but treated me like a human being. It took them 2 days to finish my car. 2. I was floored and elated. The car looked as if it had never been damagedQuality people, hard workers, kind, beautiful and honest work and above all empathetic.I can not stress enough, please support them. They'll take care of you like family.

If you value your well-being, your vehicle, your time, and your money, I would advise against visiting this particular auto body shop. The staff members I interacted with, including the receptionist, a short Caucasian man with blue eyes, displayed not only condescending and disrespectful behavior but also a lack of attentiveness. My initial reason for visiting was to address a minor scratch on my car, and I was informed that I would be able to retrieve my vehicle on the same day. While I wasn't in a hurry, I placed my trust in their assurances and remained hopeful. However, upon returning to collect my car, it became apparent that they hadn't completed the job properly, as the paint had not yet dried. Consequently, I was compelled to wait for an additional 30 minutes before finally receiving my car. The workers at the shop downplayed the unfinished work, even going so far as to laugh about it, including the aforementioned receptionist. Despite not being obligated to make a payment due to the incomplete job, I, perhaps naively and out of kindness, decided to compensate them anyway. It was then that I was informed I needed to return the following week for the job to be finished. However, when the worker who had parked my car eventually returned my key, I discovered scratches on my key. Considering that this was a brand new car, I attempted to remain calm and reassure myself that it was tolerable, but the truth was far from satisfactory. The shop's employees exhibited carelessness and a lack of consideration when handling customers' possessions. When I revisited the shop during the second week, as instructed, and brought up the issue with my key, they outright refused to rectify the problem. Woody assured me that he would contact the owner in an attempt to replace or fix my key, and call me back the next day, but he failed to follow through on his promise. Furthermore, the paint job remained incomplete, displaying a substandard level of workmanship, while I was consistently interrupted and belittled, with the implication that my payment was insufficient in relation to the work I had expected. To ensure a more favorable experience, I would recommend that if you are a Black woman, visit this establishment accompanied by a man, preferably one who is rich and Caucasian. It appears that the staff at this place has little regard for their customers and selectively values individuals based on their wealth and race.

Nice people, good at selling the job, can't say the same for the actual work. They didn't do what we agreed on. They didn't sand/fix a couple rough spots that I mentioned when doing a walk around prior to doing the work, didn't paint the plastic front pieces like they said they would, and they had me bring my car in to touch up a couple cloudy spots (just buffed but a couple days before they said they'd shoot it and dry it within a couple hours while I waited). After arriving they said they would not fix the rough spots and would not be spraying- only buffing. There were also 3 noticeable runs that I didn't want to bother with because I felt it was too much work just to get some of the other things remedied. Probably just some new guys in training? We all have to start somewhere I guess. What I did like: nice people with good intentions, car looks good from 10', affordable, they stayed within my budget, got my car back a few days late when the rain came (probably not intentional), but didn't have to leave it for over 2 weeks- so good turn around time. Bottom line- we get what we pay for, and I wasn't willing to pay several thousand.

The job looks pretty good, the paint is a little uneven at places but overall it looks great, however the first time I came in to get an estimate on the cost, they quoted me a grand lower then what I ended up paying, I feel that with the first quote and inspection they should have asked more questions about the history of the car to give me an accurate estimate rather then bringing my car in (all pulled apart) and having to fork up extra for a lack of thoroughness . I didn t feel that there was really anything I could do at that point, as I couldn t drive it back home without a lot of extra hassle. It was good job and well done but there was a simple lack of communication and thoroughness.Service: Painting

11/10 WOULD RECOMMEND. I worked with Lew to restore my 1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350. It turned out better than I could have hoped for. I had a budget so I decided to cut some costs, we sanded down certain parts to bare metal and replaced some body parts. Wanted it to look brand new and the first time I stopped for gas someone thought it was actually new! Most other body shops wanted an arm and a leg and wouldn't work with me on affordability at all. This shop was different.I get great looks in this car that was once abandoned in a tow yard. Lew helped me figure out how to tackle this project within my budget like no other shop would. You always hear horror stories from Maaco for affordable paint jobs but every Maaco is different and Lew at his shop is a diamond in the rough. If anything looks off to you he'll figure it out until you're a satisfied customer. Great to work with and sent me updates all along the way.I included the drastic before and after here! WOW.

Lu s shop does incredible work for the price, and you aren t going to find a better value anywhere! The actual work ended up taking an extra week than expected, but the end product ended up being phenomenal. I had some small rust spots that they were able to cover up. The old clear coat was entirely gone with a large chunk of paint missing. Afterward, There ended up being a few spots that weren t absolutely perfect and a little paint in some spots it shouldn t be (see photos), and they spray painted my trim pieces and some of that is starting to come off, but I didn t expect it to stay long term anyways, and it wasn t a service they normally do but they did it for me anyways. The workers at the shop are the most friendly people I ve ever met at a store and you can tell that Lu absolutely loves what he does and really cares about his customers. I got the cheapest paint option they had, and the estimate was accurate and ended up being what I paid.Getting the paint done made my junker look brand new and I ve been getting compliments on it left and right from people amazed at the condition it s in. I am 100% satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend them!Service: Painting

They did a great job on my car. I got two dents fixed as well as getting it painted. The paint looks great, inside and out, as if it came off the factory line that way. The dented areas now look perfect. I get compliments on the color pretty regularly. The staff was helpful and friendly. The cost for everything (paint & repair) was the same as the estimate I got somewhere else (in Beaverton) just for the dent repairs alone. I definitely recommend this place and will go there again for any future dent repairs or paint jobs.

Most terrible customer service and most terrible paint job ever done. The worker waited about a week to let me know it was finished and charged me $605 just for a front fender to be painted. Little realizing the next morning i woke up and realized the paint was so sensitive something hit it when driving on the way home from macco and caused a huge smear. There was also ripples before this in the "new paint" Went back the next day to ask for it to be repaired as he left me hanging around helping other customers then telling tried me im going to have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. Worst paint jobs and would not go back there even if i had to.

Took my 1994 Mazda B3000 in because the clear coat from about an 8 years ago paint job was peeling badly and for me it makes more sense to fix up my 1994 Mazda B3000 as it's mechanically sound. While I did have my issues with the completed work I still highly recommend going here. I'm a picky person and want things a certain way. I think had I taken more time to go over the completed work with Lew he would have made it right, however I live 50 miles away so the issues I found I'm fixing myself.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had them completely repaint and retrim my 2007 Dodge RAM. Using factory paint an clearcoat it came out absolutely like a brand new vehicle. There were a few little things to take care of and they were absolutely professional and handled them in no time. I had a hard time finding a shop that would do a complete repaint, but no need to look further; this is very professional work!Service: Painting

Lew has retired now but is such a nice man. My husband worked for him temporarily and he said he really enjoyed working there. One day I had accidentally left my headlights on and needed a jump, it must've been 25 degrees outside. I went in to the shop to ask for help and one of the guys was more than happy to help.

We were very happy to have our Nissan Sentra restored to a beautiful version of itself. We had multiple dents, scrapes and body damage. Maaco helped us replace two doors, fix the body damage and repaint the entire car. Great work and reasonably priced.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

We have a 2008 Honda Odyssey that we have had since new. It having always been parked outside, coupled with our insufficient washing/detailing the last few years due to busyness, resulted in its paint suffering to a point at which clear coat wore off and peeling started. Not fully knowing what to expect, we took our vehicle to Maaco where we were met by Lew (owner) and Kat. Both were (are) super professional, and spent considerable time going over options with us. Ultimately, we decided to have the entire vehicle repainted, and at that to go the more 'labor-intensive and costly route' of having all trim (lights, bumper covers, roof racks, side mirrors, door handles, etc.) removed in the process as opposed to having them masked and painted around. This meant we were able to get new paint behind things not just up to the edges of things.Lew, Kat and their team did an amazing job! When all said and done we ended up with paint that essentially looks factory new. Because the job was so big and intensive (it is a minivan after all) there were a few things for which we had to seek follow up. A couple trim clips, a couple pieces on the roof rails, etc. Lew and Kat were gracious and swift addressing our follow-up items/concerns and took time and care to make sure we were truly happy. Lew and one of his technicians even helped snap together a piece of loose trim for us on another vehicle of ours that we had onsite when we were picking up the minivan--and he did this for free.I highly recommend this Maaco! Lew, Kat and team are great and I believe will treat anyone with patience and respect.Service: Body & Trim

I would definitely recommend this place. Lew the owner took great care of me from the start. He was very friendly and made the whole process super easy. Brian was great too! I needed a minor paint scrape fixed on the rear bumper of my brand new jeep. He told me the job would take 2-3 days, and I got it back the same day I dropped it off, and they made it look like the scrape never happened. By doing the job so quick, I saved money on the rental car I had as well. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if so, I will definitely go back to Maaco. Job well done!

You are in good hands if you choose this Maaco - amazing customer service, timely and trustworthy, and fair pricing.Lew is amazing! Great customer service, personable and friendly, understanding and knowledgeable, true to his word, tries to do right by you, all with a smile on his face - just a really nice guy and joy to work with.I needed to get some repair done and the entire process was very smooth - Lew understood the situation, provided me with options, I never felt pressured, called when he said he would, he and his crew finished up the repair in less than 2 days (vs 4-5 days expected which was still much faster than other places). I picked up the car and noticed the windshield was cracked and Lew happily got it fixed the very next day within a couple of hours - quicker than he promised. I judge the customer service by the way customers are treated when things go wrong, and Lew exceeded all expectations and set a new example. Thank you, Lew!

As a lot of previous reviews state, Lew's customer service and detailed explanation of everything was incredible. The estimate was fair, and once I got the go ahead from my insurance, the repair only took two days. I will say that my car was a bit dusty on the inside and smelled strongly of paint, but that was to be expected. A simple interior cleaning at a local car wash helped with the dust, and the smell went away after a few days of driving around with the windows down. Car is like new, and the work done was superb. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!

Had an incredible experience at this maaco. Lew and his daughter McKenzie were extremely helpful, and the rest of the staff there were super friendly and gave us a great price on a decent bit of work. I had needed the car for work and was surprised at the speed in which they were able to complete the job. The speed however, did not effect the outcome, as the car came out looking way beyond my expectations. Overall, I would highly recommend this Maaco to anyone looking for a dent repair or paint!

Seek service elsewhere. What initially seemed like a nice group of guys with expertise in classic vehicles turned into a nightmare of no communication and terrible customer service. With an initial estimate of two weeks to paint the vehicle and do some repairs, I called to see when I could pick it up and was informed the work had not started, and the parts were not ordered. I had to call to find this out. I called again in another two weeks as was similarly informed.Again, I had to call to find out what was going on with my vehicle. When they finally told me it was ready to be picked up, Lew then texted me inform the work was not completely done and they were still waiting for parts. On the day they told me pick it up. He only reached out to tell me this after I contacted them. When I picked up the vehicle the paint was poorly buffed, incorrectly applied, there were fit and finish issues that had not been present before they got their hands on it, and there was tape left painted over in several places. In fact when I reviewed my issues with another mechanics, a retired paint tech, and several other enthusiasts, they all said comments along the lines of Sloppy work. You get what you pay for. But Lew s shop is supposed to be the classic auto experts. After having this experience I reviewed the other 1 star reviews here and found that almost all of them were similar stories to mine.Whatever reputation for quality this shop used to have, something has changed, and drastically for the worse. They are nice enough guys at first, but don t let that fool you into thinking they won t jerk you around and mess up your vehicle.Avoid at all costs; seek work elsewhere.Services: Painting, Electrical

Lou helped me from start to finish. All other places were not even willing to start fixing my car after an attempted brake in. Lou went above and beyond to find the part needed to fix my window. It did take longer then they said but thats the world we live in with shipping and labor. They could have had better communication about that but I'm still happy with them.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
