Jason is hands down the best vanagon shop in portland and I have tried most of them. I had an upgraded engine put in and went around and around with shops trying to get it running right and Jason was the only one who could get it. He is beyond honest about the work and the prices are competitive, especially when you consider the work you re paying for at another shop that will inevitably leave you wanting. He also can get a hightop in, a rare benefit.

If you have a Vanagon, you have found your mechanic. Jason and the team at Keep Trucking Garage do outstanding work and have great communication. When your take your Vanagon to them, you can be confident that they will take care of both you and your van.

He knows the vanagons like the back of his hand. He has done many great repairs on my 1986 Westy the last couple of years. He will be very honest so you get the most repair for your money.

Jason is an absolute pro when it comes to Vanagons! Not only does he know what he's doing, he also is completely honest and straightforward about what he finds, pricing, and if something is or isn't needed as he does the work.He's excellent at keeping you in the loop throughout the process, which I really appreciate.Jason also caught stuff on our van that other shops missed over the years, as well as telling me which repairs are more important and which ones could wait. My wife and I are thankful the shop is here to take care of our Vanagon!

This is the most taken care of that I've ever felt by any VW mechanic in Portland so far. Very smart, honest, affordable, and kind service! I highly recommend them!!
