Hi Josh,I found your email in a Google review but it bounced back. I am seeking assistance on an oil change that my car received yesterday at your Broadway location. My car was in working order when I brought it in for a routine oil change. I ve been to your location many times in the past with the same car and haven t experienced any issues. They rung me up for the oil change and one of the air filters. As they were pulling my car out of the garage, one of the mechanics asked if I had far to drive because it probably wouldn t make it. He said it was the MAF and that due to the warm weather that dust had collected and triggered the sensor but that they could not clean or fix it there. It was shared like an after thought and not the emergency that is was going to be for me. I made it less than a mile before I had to pull over and leave it. He also said that getting the oil change may have triggered it. My spouse called a mechanic today and they said it happens after changing the air filter and that you all should be able to put the air box back in place. He went back to your location and a new mechanic was able to fix it and said it happened while they were changing the air filter. I would like a refund for the service due to the hardship that your team caused by not performing the service correctly the first time. I came to get my oil changed when this location opened at 8am. There were only 2 cars in the garage when I arrived which took 1 hour to get out. They pulled my car in, cleaned the windows, vacuumed, and my car sat for another 30 min or so with the workers focused on getting another car in the garage to clean up. I asked for them not to run current issues , they still did.The whole process took over an hour and a half. I thought Jiffy Lube was an in and out thing but these employees are making it way harder than it needs to be in my opinion. I see a lot of reviews this is a busy location and they are busy, but this kind of urgency may be why.

I arrived a few minutes before opening, the staff welcomed me anyway and made me comfortable in the waiting area. They did recommend services after running diagnostics and they offered it without pressure. When they didn t have the parts needed for that service, they quickly sent a runner to get it. They were very communicative, keeping me abreast with how far they are from finishing the job. They handled the customer service aspect very well. They addressed each customer by name, they held the door for me when I go in and out of the waiting area, and they held the door to my car as I left. Joshua and his team got it all down, they are the dream team.

Poor communication.I pulled up, and the guy who greeted me was nice. He said that "they'll get me checked right in, just wait in this room until someone does." 30 minutes go by. I try multiple times to get someone to check me in, and it's nothing but "oh we're shorthanded but we'll get to you as soon as possible." Only until my vehicle is next up do they check me in, and only then do they say that they can only check in one car at a time. I mentioned multiple times that I was hungry and wanted to grab a bite to eat and they never communicated that this was the process. What if I was a diabetic?! Keep in mind that you cannot leave the premises until checked in. Then when I finally get checked in, I mention calmly and plainly to the woman who checked me in that I was never told any of this, and she immediately went into a defensive, smiling in a sarcastic way, ushering me out the door to get rid of me type of behavior. If they had just said in the first place "we can only check in one vehicle at a time", their and my annoyance would have been avoided. That's all they had to say. That's it.I'm giving two stars because they did complete the service (as far as I can tell), and the guy (Curtis, I believe) who greeted me and ultimately rang me up was super nice; a stand out at this location. The team lead, Stacey: lets just say not a people person.All I wanted was better communication. All I asked for was information. All I got was dismissive attitude. I'll go elsewhere next time.

My boyfriend went for an oil change right after the gym, he put his headphones in his glove compartment and from the moment he got there the employee helping him was staring him down in a very uncomfortable & spaced out (drug related) kind of way. He saw the employee go through his car & had assumed he was moving stuff to vacuum, when he got back in the items in his backseat were all shuffled around. We realized the next morning that the employee had stolen his Bose headphones & had also entered into his trunk compartment (assuming looking for tools or anything valuable) we could tell because it s really tricky to close & it was askew & not even close to being on the right way.This location hasn t always had the most amazing service or kind workers, but it sucks that you can t even get an oil change w/o worrying about your belongings. Guard your stuff if you go here, I guess.

there are whole bunch of side fees when you want to change the oil that they do not mention. They put back the cabin filter upside down after I told them I don't need it to be replaced. I got tire pressure alarm after leaving (and I know it is not a calibration reset issue) and had my brake make noises as well... They said my skid plate is missing which is probably taken out there last time I was there and they forgot(?!) to put it back. Not going back ever again!UPDATE: I emailed more details and my contact info to the email that they provided in their response few weeks ago and have not heard back.. I guess the customer service matches the service I got in that location as well.

I was in line at bay 1, and it finally cleared. Yay, my turn to get my oil changed, right? I went in the shop, waited, and then instead of pulling my car into the bay, they pulled the car that had been waiting at bay 2 and put mine back in line at bay 2. No explanation, no nothing, they just suddenly changed the rules on me. I dunno, did she have to go deliver a baby? They could have at least explained that to me. I had to get to work myself. Needless to say, I had no desire to stay there so I got in my car and drove off. I don t recommend this place because they seem to randomly deem other people more important than you and won t honor your place in line. Never going back, will just go to the dealership where they make and honor appointments, even if it s more expensive

Every thing went well except they did not have a replacement cabin filter for my car: The filter was extremely dirty with dirt and leaves. They did not show me or confirm that they cleaned it up some before putting back into my car.

I'd give 100 stars if I could, Josh was amazing! He helped me out with repairing my headlights and saved me a ton of money. I highly recommend the team at this location !

I've been sitting here for 22 min, listening to some woman named Stacy use foul language, her and her coworkers are talking so much negativity about some Man named Josh that works here, I'm sitting in my car waiting for them to do my oil and they are eating. This is madness, the MOST unprofessional location I have ever visited!!! I'm leaving this review while they are " working" on my car. I'm scared they are not going to do things correctly, they are so distracted by all the chatting about how they couldn't find their cigarettes last night, visiting their mom,Thier addiction and recovery . I'm appalled this type of behavior is tolerated never will I will return or recommend this location!!!! YIKES. And definitely get a break down of charged. I was quoted my oil change starting at 60 something and it ended up being 90 something. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!

i was in on a tuesday late morning and they were pretty busy but the whole crew was great.admittedly, i don t use jiffy lube a lot but i d definitely come back to this shop. i enjoy that this whole team was making jokes and having a good time.

Does not even deserve this one star. Not only do they have employees leaving reviews they also can't perform a basic oil change. Overfilled my engine with oil ultimately destroyed my engine.

Service was high quality and staff is very friendly and professional.I've been coming to this location for a few years, and recent hiring challenges are showing. It was a long wait for my oil change, and I was prepared for it.What hasn't changed is the customer care that I receive with each visit.I do hope that this Jiffy Lube location is able to stabilize its staffing. I'd love to see it keep going stronger

This was my experience a few months ago. Oil change was good and they let me know a few things about my vehicle but when they installed my windshield wipers bad idea. The person said he should redo it but I was pressed for time smh. A few weeks later they are horrible and my boyfriend ends up replacing them. I contacted the shop and there was a warranty on them but I didn t have time to take it in. I m a very busy person which is why when I pay for a service I want and need it done correctly the first time because I don t have time to make several visits to correct peoples mistakes. I need an oil change today and I m debating if I should just go for that idk I don t care for the jiffy lube near my house either. I might just ask my boyfriend

Jiffy lube does all my oil changes. I like having my service record all in one place. I don't like the pressure to upsell the services, but I know how to say no.

It made me comfortable to have a woman attend me during my visit. At the beginning and end I was warmly welcomed. It stood out to me how 2 employers greeted me as I left. One of them held the door open for me as I left and the other employer had the car door open for me ready to go. It was quick, efficient and I did not feel pressured to add any extra services. Thank you for such a special costumer service experience. I could tell the team was very well organized and worked well together. The only thing I suggest is updated the prices on the TV.Service: Oil change

Excellent fast efficient service came in for tire pressure reading. I was assuming the pressure in my tires was too high. had my tires deflated a little because the tire pressure code was on. Code went away after deflate. excellent work thank you

We had our oil changed and our car was checked in multiple areas including filters, etc. We would have preferred not to be put in a waiting room, but to hear and see all areas checked. It appeared to be a quality service in a fairly short amount of time.

I have had great experiences at Jiffy Lubes in California and this was my first time at one in Oregon. I went in for a standard oil change which is typically like a $60/$70 expense and ended up getting charged $150. The tire rotation was an additional charge- every other oil change I have ever paid for included a tire rotation. There doesn t seem to be many other companies in the area which leads me to believe they can increase their prices and overcharge. Definitely never coming back to Jiffy lube- I ll drive to Washington to a Pep Boys where they won t overcharge for basic services.

Out of all the Jiffy Lubes in the Portland area, this is my go-to. Shawn is super trustworthy and has the customers best interest at heart. You can tell he s got a passion for cars and really wants to help the customers get the best service. He keeps his team in check and holds his staff accountable. I started off at Valvoline, where I got in a line with 4 cars ahead of me. They had no waiting room and I had no AC on a hot day.So after 40 minutes of no movement in the line, I cut out and went to Jiffy Lube. So much better! The workers are courteous, fast and efficient, and they have an air conditioned waiting room. They changed oil and filter, and also replaced a headlamp. I was in and out within about an hour, and they were not pushy about upselling. I really like Jiffy Lube.Service: Oil change

I previously got my oil changed at this Jiffy Lube location and they damaged my coolant reservoir which then had to be replaced. My next oil change I decided to do myself and save my car from being damaged further and found that they put a sealant on the oil drain plug so I couldn't remove it. After spending 2 hours trying to get it off, I called them to see if they used an air compressor to tighten the plug which they then told me about the sealant. They also tightened the oil filter too tight. End of the day I wouldn't go back to this or any Jiffy Lube.Service: Oil change

I only went here because Valvoline was busy. I had to return after getting an oil change 30 minutes later because my oil levels were low and I all got was a sorry. I went to Valvoline on 8/3/23 and was told I had oil leaking because they didn't screw on my oil filter on correctly. Garbage shop.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I don t go here often, but something has changed between visits. It wasn t bad, just less smooth. I m used to sitting in my vehicle while the work is done. This time I was unexpectedly herded into a waiting room with a rotating cast of other customers. Luckily, I had a mask on me. Even still, it wasn t just sitting and playing on my phone while I waited, because now I was subjected to every conversation the crew had with every person having their car serviced. And you know how those conversations go it s communication/selling at each step of the service. On top of that, it s one thing when I m sitting in my car and they come to me, but when I barely get my butt back to its seat before they call me back - it s annoying.On top of that, one of the services I had done was not done correctly, so now I m trying to cram in another visit to get this corrected.
