Such a great experience with Burnside Collision. Incredibly friendly service & kind people. George made the whole process so smooth & went the extra mile to expedite my repair. To top it all off, they washed and vacuumed my car before I picked it up. Thank you!!

I am so incredibly thankful for the Burnside Collision team. I will start this long review by saying that I believe there is no better place in Portland to take your car for repair.My Tacoma was hit back in October that ended up causing damage to the rear end. I took it in to get quotes from 4 different shops (3 in Portland, and 1 in Coos Bay where the truck was hit)3 of those shops quoted me in the $1600-$2000 range for repair (cost was no issue since the other drivers insurance was paying for this - but these numbers are important)Out of the 7-8 people who looked over my truck, Mark was the ONLY person to catch underlying damage on my tailgate. The cost of repair to my truck ended up being over $5000 with the tailgate replacement - If I had taken it to any other shop, that underlying damage would not have been caught or ever fixed. BC was also the only shop willing to fight State Farm on OEM part replacement. They also recommended I get an alignment since my truck was parked while hit - George and mark were both able to get me reimbursed for that expense!Due to supply chain issues, my car was in the shop longer than expected, but I never blamed them for this. Please be patient with these guys, they are working as hard as they can given the current conditions, and the work done here will far exceed anywhere else you take it. I was given regular updates and communicated with over the holidays as much as possible. I am so happy with how it turned out and I know I will be recommending Burnside Collision to anyone that needs body work in the area.

Amazing job. Did extra things like clearing out a small animal nest under the hood for better airflow. I didn't expect the care they took with all the parts they removed and gave back in case my son wanted to sell them. Customization is difficult and expensive but these guys truly care !!!

George and team did a fantastic job on my CX-5, repairing some dents/deep scratches and a mangled side view mirror, and were much cheaper than the dealer. Paint match was perfect. Highly recommend!

george, mark and stephanie all did a wonderful job taking care of my car. i was t boned 5 months ago and even with how busy they were at burnside collision, they still worked hard on my car and gave me compassionate and professional service. my car was in the shop for a bit but i know they were working as fast as able given that so many parts are on back order these days, the girl who hit me's insurance (allstate) was challenging to work with and they have a full shop right now. even when i came to pick up my car, they went above and beyond, doing things not even on the contract request like patching my tire and taking off a bumper sticker i didn't like. also the inside was cleaned and detailed a quite a bit more than they needed to, which was a nice treat. take your car to them, but know, like many shops these days it'll be a wait, but please be courteous and nice to them because they are all hard workers and caring people.

I took my truck to Burnside after an accident. They were very honest with me and told me that it might be a long time for parts, but that they would work diligently to get my truck repaired and looking just like new. It took almost a year to get the parts through no-fault to their own. I have my truck back now and it looks great. Throughout all this they were, friendly, courteous, and had great customer service. I never once felt like I didn t have my truck in the right place. I would highly recommend their service.

Hands down the best place in town. Mark was amazing and took time to buff out a huge scratch on my car. He didn t even charge me because he didn t feel like doing the paperwork haha. He also took time to let me know where to find the best custom paint for touch ups. I will go here for everything and have already recommended Burnside Collision to a bunch of people who need a good, reliable place to go.

These guys are the best! I had to have a new bumper installed and painted on my Honda Odyssey. They were able to fit me in and it was done right the first time! Thank you for the excellent customer service and beautiful repair!

Mark, George, Anthony, Stephanie & the rest of the team at Burnside collision are great. Took my truck in for repair. Reasonable wait times compared to industry. The work looked right. Any concerns I had afterwards were taken seriously and addressed immediately, to my satisfaction.They aren't affiliated with any insurance companies so it's nice to know they aren't cutting corners because the adjuster is making them do it. Prices seem competitive.The only down side was having to call in for updates. Otherwise generally speaking, what I was told from the get was the expectation & reality.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I cannot recommend Burnside Collision enough. They repaired my 2017 Ford Transit Connect which was taken to them during the height of the pandemic. Supply chain issues during the pandemic created a number of headaches to get parts to accomplish the needed repairs. Which meant it took a lot longer to accomplish than anyone could have anticipated, which means the vehicle took up space in their shop a lot longer than anticipated. Which I know couldn t have been great for them because they couldn t use that space for repairing other vehicles.But throughout the entire repair they were polite, courteous and really truly went above and beyond to the very end.They changed the oil, detailed the vehicle and returned it with a full tank of gas. They made sure to thoroughly test the vehicle for any possible missed issues before returning it in perfect condition.This repair took a whopping 14 months. Not because of any error on Burnside Collision s part, but because parts were so hard to come by because of the pandemic! But every time I called to check in, they were kind and courteous and gave me a very detailed explanation on what had been done so far, what they were waiting on, and what was still left to accomplish.They were also great about dealing with all the insurance hassle so that I didn t have to lift a finger on any of that.I am extremely pleased with the work they did and my overall experience with Burnside Collision. I will absolutely be bringing any future vehicle repairs to Burnside Collision. I rarely write reviews, but these folks are exceptional. My car was hit when parked. They handled all the insurance communication, were easy to talk to whenever I had a question, and completed a very professional job to repair my car. The paintwork is beautiful. To top it off, the car was cleaned before I got it back. Real pros that I would recommend to anyone.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

These guys repaired some damage to my rear bumper and rear side panel after I got swiped in a parking lot. They also tracked down an electrical short caused by my idiotic attempt to pull it out of the snow with the trunk latch. It took a little longer than I'd hoped but the work was done flawlessly and they even detailed my car while it was there as an added bonus. On top of that they ordered some latches for me to replace the fuse box door latch I had accidently broken off some time ago, installed them, and didn't even charge me for them. Everyone there was nice, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!Service: Body & Trim

I brought my mom s Subaru in after another driver crunched the hinge on her drivers door/front bumper. George from the office was incredibly kind and personable, and Mark was able to fix the issue, within literal minutes. The most amazing part? They did not charge me a dime. This is the type of customer service, and above and beyond attention that is so rare these days. I would recommend Burnside Collision to absolutely anyone. I've had two absolutely phenomenal experiences at Burnside Collision. Admittedly, mechanical/auto body shops are outside my usual comfort zone, but the entire team there was extremely welcoming, professional, and trustworthy. I worked mostly with Marc and George. These gentlemen are excellent communicators and compassionate professionals, the ideal combination in an industry that's unfamiliar to me, especially while recovering from a collision. They always kept me in the loop on status, educated me (in a welcome way, never mansplaining :)), and they even advocated for me with insurance companies! I called Mark at Burnside Collision regarding a fender liner and splash shield replacement and the service was fast, easy, and outstanding in quality. If you are looking to get your car repair, you come to the right place! I m a very picky person and hard to deal with when it come to car paint. So look no where else. Bring it here. I was drawn in by the fantastic review and they do not fall short. Marc and his team was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They know what they are doing. Even wash and clean my car after which a lot of shop doesn t do at all. The quote was very reasonable as well. On top of this, my second car was scratched and Marc offered to touch it up for FREE. No shop does this. None. Never. Nope. Best shop in town no doubt. You bet all my cars are going here from now on. Thanks again guys!

I highly recommend Burnside Auto. I had an excellent experience with George and Mark. They returned phone calls promptly, completely the repair on time and my car looked good as new after the repair. I came here because of the reviews and now I am happy to be that pleased customer who leaves a 5 star review after receiving service that exceeded my expectations. I was given a quote that was very affordable and they worked with me to keep the cost low since I paid out of pocket. They fixed my car door so fast that I had them replace the windshield as well. My car looks fresh off the lot. Get your car fixed here!

My car needed some bumper repair work and I chose them because of their google reviews. From my experience they were awesome to work with. I appreciated their kind service, honesty, and professional work. If I ever need to take my car in for work, I would confidently go again.

I took my car to a number of shops and I was quoted around the same amount, then I took it to George at Burnside Collision and he was not only really nice and easy to talk to, but he was super real with me and told me he could replace everything with brand new parts (which is what everyone else quoted me) or he could fix what I already have for a fraction of the cost. I told him I didn't know that was even an option since no other shop I took it to told me that! George saved me SO MUCH MONEY and I could not be happier with how it turned out, plus the fact that I saved so much money, and with how easy he made it all. My front bumper was literally taped on cuz of some front end damage my 17 year old did and now I honestly can't tell there was anything wrong to begin with! I can't thank you all enough for the honest, hard work you all do at this shop! If I ever need more body work done in the future I'm not even looking around, I'm coming straight here and everyone else should too! THANK YOU GEORGE!!!!!Service: Body & Trim

Omg guys, this place Burnside Collision is THE place you want to take your car. I mean for any car fanatics or if you are very picky with your car, take your car there. Mark and Jeff are extremely courteous and professional. Just a wonderful experience. I've taken my car there after an accident, and it came out brand new again. You can't tell it's been hit. They stay in contact with your insurance and any additional costs are run through the insurance. They did a great job working with the insurance and I didn't even have to call my insurance once work started. They detailed and washed my car before presenting it back to me. Just exceeded my expectations, Mark went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of! They even offered to give me a ride once I left my car there. I tell you what I had peace of mind leaving my car with them. If you need body work check them out! You won't regret !

This place is dope. My Subaru had some front-end damage from an accident, and I took it to so many different shops in town for quotes. I was consistently told it would cost over $2000 to repair, which would essentially make my car totaled. Burnside Collision was able to do the job for $650 and they did a perfect job. I can't recommend them enough!Service: Body & Trim

Super professional! Got my car done and returned it cleaner then when I brought it in. All body work and paint looks amazing. Looks like its a brand new car again! George is great and will help you in any way he can. Super stand up dude and stand up company. Literally fixed a tail light for free. I got in a minor fender bender a month ago and being new to the area, went to Burnside Collision after reading the numerous good online reviews. I am endlessly thankful I made that decision! Marc and his team were incredibly kind and informative all along the way. The quoted time was pretty spot on, and they even repaired a few other minor things unrelated to the accident while my car was in the shop. Insurance took care of the cost but I can't imagine them being anything other than reasonable. His team did a great job with the repair and even cleaned my car prior to me picking it back up. If I need body repair in the future I will definitely go back to Burnside Collision, and I will recommend all of my friends to go there as well.

Burnside collision is one of the very few body collision shops that are customer centered and has integrity and quality on their repair services. The owner, Marc, is very honest and reliable. They don't give you a undervalued estimate just to get your business and then jack it up once you dropped off your car. If you want to have a piece of mind for your car after the unexpected things happened, just go to this place right away. Choose this place as your first choice before you get disappointed or worse in trouble when you go for way cheaper estimates from other repair shops.

So impressed by transparency and honesty of this establishment. Came in for a second opinion after I was quoted a cost of 150% my car's value to fix a passenger side door. Marc at Burnside Collision was realistic, listened to what I was hoping to achieve with the repair, and took my budget AND time frame into consideration. I wound up paying <20% of what I was originally quoted, with great results. Highly recommend this establishment.

I brought my truck in to get some body work done after an accident. They had two mechanics take a look at the truck, including the owner, and gave me a quote. While it was a lot of money I decided to go ahead with the work and they told me the quote was probably on the high side. They called me a few days later once the truck was disassembled and told me that it would actually cost $800 over the quote. This effectively totaled my truck and was not worth it for me. The guy I spoke with told me I could back out and they would return my truck to me.They returned it with a broken headlight and no bumper or grill. I had to bring the truck back and have them put a new headlight in, which cost me 70$. They still would not attach the bumper or grill and just gave me back my truck in pieces. I ended up spending 70$ to get my truck back in worse condition than I brought it to them so I can't really recommend them based on this experience.This is a 91' pickup that I was paying for out of pocket. I voiced my concerns over price and didn't want cosmetic repairs such as paint, but they refused to work on it unless they were able to do a full repair job. When the price increased by 50% they were still unwilling to cut some of the cosmetic charges and this put me in a situation where I could not afford the repairs.

My car was side-swiped in a parking garage, and had several sizeable dents, and lots of scratches on the driver side. I went to four different shops around town, and ended up going with Burniside Collision for several reasons: Michael was very patient and took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions, the estimate was reasonable, and I liked that they are locally owned. It took two weeks to get the car into the shop, which was totally fine because the damage was purely cosmetic. The repair ended up taking three weeks (vs. the normal two weeks), due to a few parts that were hard to acquire and because of the holidays, however BC covered the additional time on the rental. Overall I had a great experience, and I would highly recommend them.The experience of getting your car damaged, especially when it s not your fault, is so frustrating. If you re anything like me, and you love your car, it is also such a sad experience. I was really worried that my car just wouldnt be the same. I m happy to say that after the repairs, it looked as good as new.
