My father s car broke down on the way home. He was just outside of Gaston & took a chance on this shop & was so glad he did! Quick and courteous service reasonably priced highly recommend

Live in Dallas , work swing shift at TTM Technologies, my car troubles on hwy 47 forced me to stop in Gaston, and I was stranded overnight. FYI...phone service is none or super poor. Lucky for me, where I parked , Right Choice Automotive was just 40 feet away. In the morning, I saw customers drop off their cars and put their keys in a safe box before they opened. I was in front of the store when I saw mechanics pull up for work. I explained my situation, and they started working on my car right away. I was able to drive home in a couple of hours. They are professional, and they move quickly. The name is perfect for them . Right Choice Automotive! Thank you, and I know I can always depend on you!

Brian and his entire team are knowledgeable, nice, fair, down to earth and great to work with anytime I have an issue with my vehicles. I highly recommend this place!

They are the only ones I trust anymore, honest, experienced mechanic are hard to find these days ! Dealers aren't like they used to be, Sadly !They really are the "RIGHT CHOICE"

Tom and Ray Magliozzi, better known as Click and Clack of the iconic radio show known as Car Talk (NPR), were persistent in their view that listeners avoid taking their vehicles to dealerships for repairs. A piece of sound advice as long as one can find a competent auto repair shop. Gaston and surrounding area have the luxury of having such a shop in Right Choice Automotive. Competentence, price reasonable and friendly is what I experienced when I sought their help in servicing my Toyota Tacoma. I highly recommend Right Choice for your automotive needs!

These guys are awesome. We originally met them while camping in central Oregon this past summer. Super nice people. Turns out we live in the same general area, so when I had an automotive need arise, they were my first thought.I popped in today without an appointment wanting to have a brush guard installed on my new truck (truth be told, I was very excited to add the bling to my new toy.) They were fully booked for the day and asked me to make an appointment for next week. I explained that I was away next week on my honeymoon. They asked that I call back in the afternoon. I did and they said, come on down. This is old school customer service.The installation was top notch. Solid. Pretty. Even custom trimmed the tow hook pass throughs to make a nice, clean transition.Bottom line: I trust these folks and I'll definitely use their services in the future.Thank you guys so much for accommodating me and my childlike enthusiasm to bling my ride.-MichaelService: Body & Trim

This is a fantastic family business! These guys are great! We have had the best experience with them. Brian treats us like friends and you will have a guaranteed genuine interaction with him. They always make time for us and Brian can diagnose an issue before he has looked at the vehicle (very knowledgeable). We've had many mechanics in the past and none have compared to our experience with Right Choice Automotive...the name suits their work/expertise well. Honest, reliable, fair, and a joy to do business with. Highly recommend!!!

Brian and his boys at Right choice Automotive is the best mechanic service available as far as I'm concerned. He is easy to work with, very fair price, fast return time and always a fantastic attitude.I highly recommend Right Choice Automotive to everybody and anybody whether they live in Forest Grove or not.

I spent over 2k trying to fix my death wobble in my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 at Les Schwab of course they worked around the issue. Brian and his team had me come into the shop to take a look at my truck. They spent time asking some questions got under the vehicle and diagnosed the issue. A simple fix very affordable and very professional. I will always take my business to Right Choice.Thanks Again

Brian was able to work us in last minute for an overdue oil change. He was genuinely nice and didn't try to push anything we didn't need. We talked about maintenance items to come and what costs might be on big ticket items, which were priced similar to our prior mechanic on east side. He mentioned his professional work history with Toyota hybrids, which for us moving here recently, made us glad to find a local shop that we can trust with our older Prius model. P.S. My toddler and I walked to the park nearby while we waited. He mentioned he almost drove to get us when it started sprinkling and we weren't back yet, which I thought was extremely thoughtful and exemplifies the small town charm we love about Forest Grove. When we next need service, we will definitely be coming back.

I've brought my car into Right Choice Auto twice now and they've taken great care of my vehicle. Both visits have been far cheaper than I expected and the repairs were done right.

Brought my van in last minute for a pre-trip inspection (the day before a trip down to Phoenix) and they were able to look at the car and do a recommended brake replacement for me. I felt they were very honest with me (both recommendations they made were in line with what my previous mechanic told me would be issues in the future) and I was pleasantly surprised when my bill was a little lower than their estimate!

As many people already know, life is pretty hectic. We are a family of four with two vehicles, so when one of them isn't functioning properly, it's a big deal. In order to minimize scheduling conflicts, we took our truck to Right Choice for diagnostics prior to scheduling service. My suspicions were confirmed by the tech who crawled underneath my truck to have a closer look. At that time, I decided to schedule service for the following Friday (7 days away) to have two seals replaced and I asked them to do my front brakes, which are long overdue. Seven days go by, and we dropped the vehicle off to have to services performed. I received a call roughly 5 hours later from a gentleman saying "yeah, looks like the seals are bad, but we don't have time today to get the parts and fix it. So I then asked how the break job went and he said "Brakes? I didn't know anything about that. Let me look. Oh yeah, your brakes are shot! You'll need those done too." I laughed and said we knew that 7 days ago! He simply said, "sorry man, there's nothing I can do". At this point I'm glad they didn't perform any repairs on my vehicle. If scheduling and logistics prove to be a difficult endeavor, turning wrenches could be catastrophic. I'll be taking my truck to good 'ol Jim's Automotive!

Went here based upon recommendation by friend. It was a shaky start when I was asking questions. But glad I had them do the work.Both front breaks were done. Very quickly and professionally. They showed me the parts afterwards, which is always a good idea.I will be back there for my vehicle needs from now on.Oh. It is a small shop behind Dutch Boys. Their sign is faded.

I love these guys I won't ever have anyone work on my car again they just got through auto detailing it too over the winter it set and Moss group in it or mold whatever you want to call it they came and picked it up and they cleaned it up it looks great smells better it's a family-run business and their father worked on my car last year and he was very honest dependable and great customer service not only that but he was straight up and my car works fantastic I won't ever have anyone else work on my car so I hope they're in business for a long time

So to give you a little backround on me: I'm a 21 year old girl that knows a little about cars but not much. I'm new to the area and I am in the process of getting out of my 91 year old car that I've been shoveling money into. Which is how I met him. My mom whom recently had a car with the same scenario and got the most fair and honest rates and service recommended I take it to right choice. I mean Bryan not only talked me through the whole process of fixing the old car but when he found out I walked 1.5 miles the first time to pick up my car he has offered me a ride when I need it each time im getting help with the selling process of my old car. He is also going to check the new car im getting for a small price to make sure I'm not going to get ripped off and that it'll last me for a while. I'm so stoked about these men at right choice I'll recommend them to anybody in the area that I know that needs auto repairs!

Just got my AC serviced on my Acura TL. Justin was able to promptly schedule me, delivered on time as promised and for the price I was quoted. Easy to deal with, I would use this shop again.

I pulled into the shop because my truck was making a loud noise a gentleman named Brian looked under the hood and confirmed my suspicions that the idler pulley was broken. I always Take my automobiles to Scottys auto body shop in Hillsboro , my plan was to have it towed there however when I called my cousin he was able to come over right away with the parts to fix my truck . Brian from right choice automotive came over and told us that we were not allowed to fix the truck in his parking lot even though it was after business hours and I had been sitting out in the heat for over half hour and seven months pregnant, my cousin who was fixing my truck for me offered to pay him $80 if we could just take 15 minutes and fix it Brian refused and asked us to leave once again . I can understand that brians business is fixing automobiles however given the circumstances I believe Brian's behavior was not only rude but very inconsiderate . Given the circumstances I would not recommend right choice automotive in Forest Grove to anyone . Seeing as it was after business hours Brian was losing nothing by allowing us to fix my truck in his parking lot. In fact he might've even gotten a few recommendations, based on his behavior that's not the case, special thanks to the young kids over at Dutch Brose for offering me water and shade !!

I have a Saturn which is to say a classic. Some other mechanics have tried to convince me to give up on my car because it's just a Saturn. The problem is that my car runs great 99% of the time. Last summer it started to have a hitch in its giddity up. These guys were friendly and reasonably priced. My Saturn is as zippy as it has ever been and still on the road thanks to these guys.

They are friendly and I would rate them higher, but my vehicle was returned to me with grease all over my seats, floor mats and carpet. They take no care to protect your vehicle while they work on it. When I pointed it out, their response is we don't know if it was like this when you brought it in or not. There was so much grease on the mat, I had to take my shoes off before entering the house because I was tracking it all over the garage.

Outstanding customer care. Had several shops over quote me for a 5 minute job I didn't have the tools for, but these guys saved me hundreds. I have routinely come back here for their care
