I called this place from 600 miles away as I could not get my Leece Neville alternator to charge on my machine that is located in Florence. Don spent a very considerable length of time listening to my description. I converted the alternator from external to internal regulator. ( I purchased those parts earlier from a supplier on the east coast who could not diagnose the issue and just sent me another identical part) . With Dons help he simply instructed me to briefly jump two terminals on the alternator as he said the rotor may have lost its residual magnetism. After this the unit began to operate normally. I am really thankful for his help and time. I then researched his website and his work is really impressive to say the least. Hard to believe that such a place exists in Florence Oregon. Thank you again. !

Don did a 60 amp generator for my 1957 Chevrolet.I was plagued with problems none of which were his. He did everything he could to help meeven tho nothing made sense. In the end the trouble was with the car not with Dons equipment. He is a stand up guy and very knowledgeable . I highly recommend him.

Don is a wealth of information, a genius with auto electrics and a genuinely good guy. His kind manner and fair dealings have won him a lifetime customer. If you have alternator/starter issues, do yourself a favor & go see Don.

Don responds back quickly and seems wants to help.For your information, the website is not correct: Don does not do Gener-Nator conversions for Volkswagens. However, does rewind for an increase in amperes (not sure how much, didn't answer). Hope this helps other folks out.

Wow! This man knows his business. I had an obscure tractor starter that he rebuilt and the price was very fair with prompt service.Florence, Or
