I was recently stranded on the side of the hwy a bit north from ACR for a few days with no help from any shop within a 70 mile radius.Joel took time out of his busy day to walk me through my entire ignition system VERY clearly, he managed to get my 1982 Vanagon up and running after being on the phone with me for almost two hours!This shop is a Life saver and I couldn t be more thankful for Joel and his knowledge.He is an absolute gold mine!I would recommend anyone to him with the utmost certainty that he will do a great Job! Thanks again Joel you re a one in a million type of guy!

Absolutely the best shop I ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Our Fire department had an ambulance break down near there. Had it towed to the dealer and the dealer wouldn t work on it because it was too big for them. It s an F450 weird. Called ACR and they said we can work on it. Towed it over to them and they started on it within hours. They took good care of our crews while they waited.This is the best family owned and operated, honest, integrity, and value based business! They took care of our equipment and our people! Thank you for all that you have done Joel! Jarad took time out of his busy day to evaluate or friends 1992 Lincoln Town Car, he was professional, experienced and explained the issue with the engine to our out of state friend to needed expert opinion. These people were amazing! We're traveling along the OR. Coast, a long way from home, and they reorganized their scheduled appointments to help us get back on the road. Not only did they diagnose and fix our truck quickly, for a reasonable cost, but they provided transportation back to my RV and back to their shop when my truck was fixed. Thank you ACR! Your customer service is unparalleled and appreciated.

about 3ish yrs ago my car broke It got towed to acr they did a computer scan but I remembered it was still under factory warranty I called them to get it towed to the dealership and they didn't charge me for the service they preformed I was very grateful so I just had them do pm's done on it and she(Tammy) helped me even more. ACR I'm very thankful

ACR Automotive and Joel are genuine.Not only were they were super professional and timely on repairing our 2005 6.0 L Powerstroke, but they also ensured to inform us on all scans/diagnostics/and repairs made and any long term repairs needed. All information provided was concise and to the point. No beating around the bush or inconsistencies. Highly recommend!

ACR is the best place I have found on the coast. Not only are they fair when it comes to their prices , but they go way out of their way to help. Tammy was able to save me $200 that a different garage was going to charge me for the same work.Even Russ one of their mechanic's was willing to stay over after closing just to get my car fixed.I can not say enough about this company. I was traveling the west coast when my engine started making a concerning sound. Called this mechanic and they said that I could bring my van in that same morning. Within an hour of being there my problem was diagnosed, the parts needed were found and installed and all my issues were solved. Even checked over my engine and refilled my coolant for free. Could not recommend this place or the professional people that work there enough!

Traveling in our promaster van through Florence when we broke down. ACR got us in right away and on the road by the weekend even though they were booking appointments a month out. They were incredibly friendly and I feel confident our vehicle is fixed. 100% recommend to anyone in Florence. ACR will take care of you.

We were travelling from BC and ran into some car trouble before our trip home. ACR managed to accommodate us right away and helped us get our car working so we could get home. Just travelling from here back to Vancouver and my wheel bearing blew out. Super sad, pulled over and looked these guys and and called hoping that they would be able to help. As the other guy in town says 10 days.They said bring it today and we ll get you home!Dang! These people are the nicest, kindest, fastest people I ve met in the state!I appreciate how fast they sorted me out and exchanged some good stories while we waited as well.THANK YOU!!!

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They helped us out a lot, we were from out of town and had a repair emergency. They took into consideration our budget and situation and serviced our car as soon as possible. I can t give enough thanks and praise to the folks at ACR Automotive. My wife and I were enjoying our time in Florence only to encounter an engine alert notification on our diesel pickup. To make matters worse, we were scheduled to leave the Port of Siuslaw RV Park the next day. The park was full so no way could we stay extra days, not to mention towing a 9k lbs RV with an unknown engine issue to another park.Yes sir...panic city...big time.ACR to rescue. Although they were super busy, they managed to get me in for a quick diagnostic so at least we knew what we were dealing with. Long story short, I was good to go later that day. Tammy (I think that was her name) was so wonderful and put me at ease knowing how stressed out I was. It s one thing to have vehicle issues in your own town, but when you are on the road and on a schedule, it s a much different story.I liked how the 2 mechanics quickly jumped on my issue and had me back on the road later that day. I don t know too many places that would have squeezed me in on a moments notice, but this is what is known as small town hospitality. And why we are not only coming back to Florence next year, but plan to do it several times in a year. ACR Automotive is a great ambassador for the city of Florence.Auto repair shops are like dentist or doctors offices. You don t want to pay them a visit, but when you do, its good to know you are in good hands and with ACR, you are in great hands. The entire family went above and beyond to help us when our check engine light went on while driving up the coast of Oregon. Rusty ordered parts from Kansas City for next day delivery on a Saturday! Tammy was extremely accommodating driving us too and from old town and recommended a great restaurant. If you have to break down on a road trip through Oregon, make it Florence! Joel and his family over at ACR are absolutely awesome. I came in knowing my 2004 f-350 6.0 diesel truck had transmission issues. Joel was knowledgeable about those problems and helped me with options. His guys did awesome work, updating me along the way with phone calls. Will be back for any more major repairs. Long Over Due Review, but the I was just re-telling the story, and figured this was a perfect time to write a review...in 2003 I drove a cheap little Mazda Protege down from Canada to San Fran, and on my way back, a spark plug blew out of my cylinder head, and took the threads with it.So I grabbed a camping spot at J.Honeyman Campground, got a phone book and started calling shops. Every shop I call either refused to help, quoted me entire engine rebuilds for thousands of $$$$'s. So I started looking at Flat Beds to get my car back to Canada. Luckily, I found ACR's phone number.The Gentleman that answered the phone was a positive "oh, I'm sure I could help, where ya stayin" and I let him know where I was camped. A few minutes later, he arrived in a Pink Cadillac Convertible, and told me to follow up. I was almost sick to my stomach I was so stressed, and a young man (I think it was his son) offered to drive me around town while I waited to help pass the time, as he was doing his deliveries.After about an hour, I was back at ACR, waiting for the diagnostic, when I heard the sound of an engine revving, and I turned to see their Mechanic, in my car, with a big smile, giving me a big thumbs up. They were able to Collar the Spark Plug and Fix my engine.Now came the bill..after all the calls I made, I was prepared for the worst (they came to me, fit me in immediately, and so on). I don't remember the exact amount, but I want to say it was $75. Needless to say, I went to the closest store and bought some refreshments for the crew there.As I was paying, I noticed the cork board beside the main counter was filled with Thank You cards from other travellers like me, who ACR came to the rescue for. I drove 20 hrs straight the next day to get home to CanadaI've probably told this stort 100 times since then, and now typing out, I really wish I didn't take so long to write a google review, but I can't say enough how incredible the entire crew of ACR was for me that dayThank You

The price was insanely fair. they loved my dog and she appreciated that. They are a super kind, honest, family run, business and as a travler in a strange town that was a big relief.Also you could hear then talk to other customers who they handled with ho estyand respect. Stopped in today and talked to the owner and a technician about a transmission concern i had with my car , they took a few minutes and explained what they thought the problem. was .They haven't worked on the car yet so i can't talk to that but i was impressed with their knowledge and PR skills

ACR is beyond great!They give free estimates & realky work with your wirk schedule. I dropped my car off to have the AC fixed (This is the 3rd car they have worked on for me)They gave me a ride to work, then brought my car to my job site. When they handed me the keys I asked about my bill they said"The invoice in the car. Take care of it tomorrow." Can you believe that?!Then my brake lights had gone out. They are usually closed on Saturdays but one mechanic came in just to fix that. He said bc of how important brake lights are they didn't want me driving late at night (I get off work between 11:00-11:30 p.m.) without them. Everyone at ACR are wonderful! Drove four and a half hours to make it to the coast and just as I pulled into our campground for the night the clutch burnt out. That was a Thursday night. On Friday morning we tried calling a few different places in Florence. ACR answered and although they were packed, they made time for us. Dropped the vehicle off for a clutch kit repair and then picked it up and drove it back to Bend.Unfortunately there were some more problems with the clutch after about a month but ACR stood by there work and reimbursed me for my trouble. Russ saved our vacation! We had unexpected car trouble and found ACR on google. We arrived, he diagnosed, ordered the part, offered to drive us to our campsite, installed the part the next day, and didn't price gouge us. He gave us some great upkeep advice for the future which has already saved us. What a refreshing experience to have at an automotive shop. This place is friendly but competent, and you just feel like you want to hang out with them. I highly recommend them! Thanks Russ.

Did a timing belt system replacement on my Accent. There was a hiccup with a loose belt that they fixed promptly free of charge. The car was returned to me running like new. We drove all the way from Eugene with our windows stuck down. Desperate to get them up so my partner, toddler, and myself wouldnt be so cold. Not only was everyone super nice but they also had a huge work load for the day already and still made time to help us! They had us fixed in minutes and gave us plenty of fuses incase it happened again. Then gave us even more help by giving us awesome advice for our vacation in Newport for our toddler. We were having issues with our Sprinter-based RV losing power because of some computer detected errors. The really nice folks said they were fully booked but would try to help us. They looked at the computer-generated scan codes, diagnosed the problem as a known issue in the Mercedes data base, ordered the parts for delivery the next day, and fixed the problem the next afternoon - a Friday - at a reasonable price. You can tell when you are working with honest, knowledgeable people. Everyone was friendly and obviously very helpful. Thanks a bunch.

My husband and I were driving the PCH for our honeymoon, and our car suddenly started making a loud grinding noise. We were about 3.5 miles south of Florence- and 70+ miles from the nearest car dealership. We called ACR because of their high score on Google- and they did not disappoint! They were absolutely wonderful- the business is owned/operated by a local family and they were able to get our car right in, look at it, diagnose, FIXED and get us back on the road within an hour. So thankful we choose to ACR- would recommend them to anyone!
