I went to this shop blindly, based only on his reviews. I had an emergency repair during the holidays, and there was no way the Chevrolet dealership could get me in. He had my little car fixed and back to me the same day! I honestly didn't expect it back for a few days. He is very honest as well, I didn't ever feel like he was running me around. Highly recommend

Jeremy is forthcoming and honest.He enjoys his work and does it well.He has worked on numerous cars for my family.If he thinks another shop can do something faster or if another shop has a specialty, he will refer you to that shop he is considerate that way.I will continue to use Jeremy and First Rate Automotive in the future to service all of our cars and so should you.

My wife and I are relatively new to Bend. We had a car issue during a very busy time for us. We called around for available appointments and came across Jeremy s shop! He was able to get us in the same day. Jeremy provided exceptional service. He was very personable, professional, and had our car back the same day and hours ahead of schedule. What s more is his price was very competitive. Last but not least, Jeremy went the extra mile for us. Not only did he tidy up the interior of the vehicle, when we got home, my wife noticed that he also popped the front bumper back into place. First Rate will be our first choice automotive shop for as long as we re in Bend. Thanks, Jeremy!

I live out of state, and was considering purchasing a vehicle from a dealer in Bend. I contacted several top-rated shops for a pre-purchase inspection. Jeremy had the best price, and was able to get the vehicle in same day. He found several items that the dealer's inspection didn't catch that would have been expensive to repair, one of which the dealer subsequently fixed. If I lived in Bend I would definitely take my vehicle to Jeremy for service. Highly recommended.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I was referred to Jeremy at First Rate by a friend. I've got a smart friend! Jeremy had great communication throughout the process and went above and beyond to get me my truck back before a move. Honesty and trustworthy are two words that come to mind when I describe Jeremy. Highly recommend!

Quick and easy experience. I called up last week and was told to come in today for a diagnosis. My van had a leaking gasket was diagnosed and fixed in a few hours. And the cost was very reasonable. Jeremy is a great guy. Last minute fit me in to diagnose my truck since something was wrong with it just weeks after getting it from a dealer. He took time out of his busy schedule to make phone calls to be able to get my truck done and did a phenomenal job at getting it fixed fast and efficient. Jeremy is honest and hard working. If you are ever weary of other mechanics or just don't know where to go, First Rate Automotive is the place to go hands down.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Jeremy is the man! I would hands down recommend him to anyone in Bend. My car broke down right before I was moving out of town, and Jeremy was able to find a replacement engine and fix it all for me in ample time. Jeremy honestly deserves MUCH MUCH more then 5 stars - he is an incredibly helpful and kind human that doesn't talk down to you if you dont know about cars. This is the guy to go to in Bend! Our truck broke down on the freeway, midway on a 3,000km road trip (we are from British Columbia, Canada) and Jeremy was able to squeeze us in, diagnose and fix our vehicle in a few hours. Highly recommend this shop:)

I was referred to Jeremy to have a diagnostic done on my car. He was very pleasant to work with. When he did figure out the problem he called to check before he started any work. After a little while I had another issue come up so I brought it back into him to take a look. He was upfront and honest about the issue and said that the job would be lengthy but he put his time aside to help me so I wasn't without a car for long. I would recommend him to anyone in the future. Finding an honest, kind, personable mechanic isn't always easy, but Jeremy was all of that and more. Thankful to have found his business and will definitely be doing business with him again. Thanks Jeremy!

I broke up with my last mechanic (who was stellar) to now be with Jeremy (who is even MORE stellar). He heard my issues of my mini van, took me in the next day, had me all sorted the following day and I drove away happy and feeling taken care of financially fair with competence and satisfaction. My water pump went out as soon as I pulled into Bend. First Rate was able to get my truck in first thing in the morning and was ready to pick up when I got off work the same day. I've never heard of such great service.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I just want to thank First Rate for fixing my truck when no one else in all of bend would! So glad that it ended up being a pretty simple water pump repair. Thank you so much for staying a bit late to get my truck back on the road! I even made it back that night! Definitely recommeding them for anything car/truck related!

Great experience. Jeremy is an awesome guy. We snapped a belt pulling into town on a Friday and he helped us out. He even offered to let us park by the shop for the weekend. 10/10, five-star, 100%.

I went to a different local shop 2 times and the work I requested wasn't done due to parts. Time was wasted. So I went to First Rate Automotive with my problem, got parts ordered immediately and was in within 3 days of my inquiry. Got the job done the same day it was scheduled. Service was top notch! Thank you Jeremy! I noticed my coolant reservoir couldn t hold a fill on my trip through Oregon so decided to find a shop in Bend to stop at. Jeremy jumped up to help me diagnose a mysterious leak that ended up being a hose into the heater core.Very helpful and kind. Highly recommend for your automotive woes.

I was having trouble replacing my truck headlights and Jeremy got it figured out for me. There was a common issue with headlights for my truck that he was aware of and helped me work through and charged less than a bigger operation would have. Thanks!!

We lost a break line on vacation after calling around he said he could squeeze us in! He knew we were from out of town so he got us up and going by 11 am he even told us he was going to park the truck in the garage so none of our camping gear was stolen! We highly recommend!!!

Called them with a question about my car and asked if I could ask a mechanic a question. the guy who answered the phone was very rude. Told me he wouldn't help and tells me "if he did help over the phone they wouldnt in business" then hung up. Just straight unprofessional.
