Brooks was amazing. My breaks went out on my work truck and their shop just happened to be a couple miles away. I showed up with no appointment about 3pm expecting to wait. They had me back on the road the next day. The price was fair and the staff was very polite and knowledgeable. My family and I are very thankful to everyone there that made my truck a priority. If I could give them more stars I would. Honest, fair and kind people. Thank you Brooks Motor Company.

About week ago my car overheated. We had to use triple AAA to get my car towed. They towed it brooks in mt Shasta. The truck driver really nice. Unfortunately it was let at night so he left my key a box. My family got a motel for the night. There was confusion the next day about my car. The receptionist was understanding and amazing. I bug them quite a bit because I had my little children with me. The receptionist was amazing about me calling to get updates. We did have to stay another night. Lucky for me they fixed my car right away. The whole process was stressful me but this place was amazing. We were back on the road Tuesday evening. I was grateful to pay what they work on my car for turns out it was something simple. They definitely took care of my car so I can get back to the road. I was able to finish my drive to California and back home to Oregon no issues. The staff was amazing and thank you.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Stopped into Brooks to get an estimate on replacing my front shocks which I supplied. We discussed everything about the job. They gave me a reasonable estimate (1.5 hours = $122) and it's extremely straight forward job that I should have done myself, but the quote was reasonable enough that I would just let them do it. Its not enough time to leave it and come back, so I wait. They jump right on it.2 hours into the job, the service writer comes in not to tell me its finished, but that they are actually going to charge me $199 more than the original estimate. It literally went from $122, to $321. Outright unacceptable. When I inquired why, I was told because of the nature of the shocks they were swapping, it simply took them more time. Its a shock valve swap. Take old out, put new on, mount remote reservoir right next to the primary valve as we discussed. An extra 30 minutes to the bill would have been the high limit of job creep.Perplexed, I reminded the service writer that we had discussed everything about this BEFORE they gave me an estimate and I scheduled the service.Allegedly, it took them two hours to mount the remote reservoirs. 1 hour each to mount the brackets is insane. It should take less than 5 minutes on each side. 2 self tapping screws right into the frame. When they finally finished (almost 4 hours) and I got the invoice, I saw they casually added $16 for parts even though they were supplied with everything. They also tried to keep my aftermarket lift components that were no longer necessary with the replacements.Apparently just doing the labor isn't enough for these guys. I would not trust anything they tell you, and if you're a woman you can probably assume they are going to try to take even more advantage of you.Stay away from these people.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Got my head gasket repaired a couple months ago and now I'm doing it again have a new mechanic looking into it to see if it was done right the first time . I spent way to much to have it happen again in a short period of time . I called to see if it has a warranty for there work and they said only 30 days now im gonna be out another 3 plus k

My experience with Brooks has left me feeling like I was treated fairly and respectfully. I've brought my vehicle in several times with mechanical issues identified by other shops. Most of these issues have ended up not being issues and instead of doing the work and taking my money they take the time to show me and explain. The one time there was an issue with the radiator (coolant was leaking out) they showed me where it was cracked and then the price and time to replace it was very reasonable.Instead of feeling at the mercy of the mechanical expert using scare tactics, I feel that here is someone whom I can trust and who cares to partner with me in keeping my car in good shape.

I'm sorry to give a bad review and would like to say I've conversed with the owner a couple times and he seems nice enough. Here's my 2 experiences. About 6 or so months ago I took my jeep there for an alignment and they said it needed extensive work before it could be aligned which was true and I'm glad they were honest with me and there was no charge for their time. I like to see that in a shop. Unfortunately this time I set up an appointment for an alignment on my mustang. The guy over the phone was unable to give me a quote (most shops have a standard charge for this service) , Les Schwab for example charges $79.99. I went to drop off the car and asked for a quote. After about 5 min of bumbling around and asking questions I was quoted $175.50. I have never in my life paid anywhere near that amount for an alignment. I really think this shop needs to get some more knowledgeable counter staff as it sounds like I'm not the first to not be able to get a good quote or a quote that's way out in left field. I walked out the door and will never return.

So I paid cash for a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan with 111k miles on it from Brooks Auto sales on McLaughlin on Saturday. When I drove it that night I started to hear a clunking from under the front end. I immediately called the car lot and was told that the mechanics are not available on the weekends. So I got the "Brooks Auto Shop" phone number for Monday morning. Later that night I got a call from the General manager who assured me that they stand behind their cars and that when I bring it in they will take care of anything that is wrong with it.I brought it in first thing Monday morning and they took care of the issue. I had my car back in like an hour with all ticks and clunking gone! They were friendly even when I was complaining. Although it was just a matter of a couple loose nuts I am confident they would have done whatever neccessary to insure my happiness.I would recommend Brooks auto care AND Brooks auto sales to anyone in the market for a car and or auto mechanic.

So after they sold me a lemon they said there wasn t anything wrong with the car. I took it to a different mechanic and the costs of repair and all the issues with the car cost more than the car itself. Also, they said they d release my car from their poor excuse for a shop without having to pay them then they tried to charge me but changed their minds. They re all about the money. Luckily I have a better, newer car from a REAL car dealership that s in perfect condition. Shame on you Brooks Motors.

I bought my 2007 Buick from Brooks Motor Company. I have had it for about two years now and it has been amazing. Great staff, great product, and even came with a great warranty. My brother, Jeff, bought his Jeep Wrangler at Brooks and has had it for a couple years too. It has been wonderful Jeep. My brother's girlfriend, Brooke, bought her Volvo Cross Country from Brooks, and after a year sold it, with such a high resale value to a private party, that she easily paid off her loan. In addition, she was able to do a repair at Brooks Motor Company for HALF of what she was quoted at a Volvo dealership. That's three of us all very happy with our experience at Brooks Motor Company, Dan G.

I had a great experience with Brooks Motor Co from an automotive repair aspect. I typically will work on my own car but don't have the equipment needed to do so in this current situation. I found Brooks on Google a couple miles from me so I went in to talk to them. I found Matt to be very knowledgeable and straight up which is not always the case when it comes to automotive repair. I was quoted a price which was right on Par with what I expected the charge to be considering the work that had to be done. When I picked up my Truck the problems we set out to fix were repaired and the charge was less than what I was quoted. I would recommend Brooks for automotive repair if you wish to deal with a shop that is honest and knowledgeable.Car: GMC YukonRepair: Drop tank and replace sending unit/fuel pump.

I bought a car from Brooks motor Co awhile back and immediately after i bought it the engine blew. I had it towed here to have them figure out what went wrong. 4 days later I got a 15k quote for a stock engine and 5 speed Tranny. I had the car towed somewhere else that night and got a reasonable quote. It was about 4k less than what Brooks said. Their prices with their "50%" warrenty are still much higher than a normal shop and the location is in the middle of no where.Just find a better shop.

I have always had had peace of mind and an excellent running vehicle every time I have gone to Brooks Motor Company. They are one of the few honest car dealers and automotive shops out there. I would highly recommend Brooks Motor Company to anyone looking for a quality used car with a great warranty and an excellent automotive shop! Thanks Brooks Motor Company!

Hi, I asked Brooks to give me an estimate for replacing the head gasket in my 1994 Honda Civic. They quoted me over $1700. I thought that was too high. So, I contacted another repair facility in Molalla named Highway Auto Repair. They quoted me $750. They did the work and the bill was actually $720. I had to take the head to Aluminum Head Rebuilders in Sellwood, that cost me $95. Now I realize that Brooks wanted over double what it should have cost. BEWARE OF BROOKS. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Paid $112 for a diagnostic test, went to go look at the diagnostic report that they did. Turns out they don't even have one and they were going to type out what they did on the invoice which clearly shows that they weren't going through the vehicle to test for anything, oh but wait there was one, the fuel pump is "bad" and that's the most explanation I could get...I bet they didn't even check the electrical relays to the pump..oh probably cause that would be a much simpler fix and they wouldn't make as much...

These guys are awesome! They told me it might be a day or two before they could look at my vehicle. Not only did they check it out the same day, but they also had it fixed by the end of the day.

They didn't fix the problem on my truck, they kept me coming back and still didn't fix the problem. They never told me it was a bad ECM that went bad. Ended up selling it to someone in washington.

Buyer beware! If you buy a car from here chances are there's a few parts missing from the main engine. This dealership should rename themselves Crooks.

If a good review is written more times than not its either an employee or family member. My niece went here and it sucks.
