I highly recommend Blue Collar Mechanics. The owner, Mike, is always professional, honest, and has very affordable pricing. I am moving away from this area but will definitely be driving back here to get my car serviced. Honest shops can be difficult to find. 5 star rating!

Just had my first experience at Blue Collar this afternoon, and was very impressed. Greeted by Devon, who was friendly and approachable.Had a hot tea in the lobby while I waited to speak to owner, Mike, who is obviously a great guy, and a real leader. Appreciate you both---thank you.

Very polite and patient people. Great service. I've been there a few times and I have left happy. They take the time to really explain things until I understand. It's affordable. The man that did my transmission service and did a repair did a wonderful job. I do recommend going there for any car trouble or service.

Blue Collar Mechanics is such a quality business. Mike and Ashley really care. I appreciate having a mechanic I can trust and depend on. Recently Mike worked on my car until 7:30pm on a Friday night! Did an oil change while on a road trip at some other place. 45min in - oil warning light on. Called blue collar mechanics, swinged by for a quick inspection, they found out I'm a quart short on oil. They topped it off free of charge, wished us good luck, and I was back on the road. Great people, would definitely recommend.

Had my car towed here after hours with a compounding starter + battery issue. Left them a message explaining the situation and they had it fixed the next day and dropped it off at my house for me. Amazing service, highly recommend!

I can t recommend Blue Collar Mechanics enough. I had an issue with my car caused by a poorly done oil change at a different business. Mike showed me the problem, explained it to me, fixed it, and didn t over-charge me. Their office was also comforting and professional. I will absolutely be coming back for any future car issues.

Mike did a bunch of work on my 3rd gen 4runner. He scheduled the service in a timely manner, and follows through with his presented timeline. He even took my vehicle to Dels for an alignment appt that I had the following morning. I appreciate having a reliable mechanic in town who is fair priced and honest. Was referred to blue collar by a friend recently so I decided to check them out. Not only did they fix the issue with my truck in a timely manner, it didn t break my bank account. Everyone was extremely welcoming and kind during my entire visit. They even answered many questions I had and gave me some great advice about my vehicle. If you re looking for a reliable local mechanic this is the place. I ll definitely be returning in the near future.

Blue Collar installed a reman transfer case in my Tahoe. The work was outstanding. I wish I could give them ten gold stars. This is the only place to go for auto help in Astoria!!!

Blue collar is a great choice for a mechanic shop. They were able to get me fairly quickly and replace a rack and pinion and power steering pump on my '07 Toyota 4Runner did a really great job.They were able to literally cut the price in half compared to the Toyota dealership that wanted $2,150.I will be taking All my vehicles to blue collar from now on.

My alternator belt snapped right in front of thier shop!Power had been out in the area all night and was still out at noon that day.I was out trying to get a warm meal in town.Thankfully Mike was able to help me out! He called a number of shops nearby to find a spare part!They were able to get me going again, thankfully during a Power outage. So I still could drive where I needed to go!I got a new belt, and paid only $55 for the rush work!Thanks to them I could go enjoy a warm meal at TAPS and drove back home. Though my home was powerless and cold, my car was still running fine!Thanks again Josh and Mike!

Amazing Service from kind people!! My alternator belt suddenly became majorly tangled-up today so I dropped in and Mike diagnosed the problem thoroughly and fixed it so quickly. Ashley fit me into their busy schedule and was super nice, that was some of the best service I ve ever received at a shop! And my car is running smooth now, no clanking noises anymore. Hands down the best choice in town for a mechanic. Excellent work done quickly, professionally, and from my experience, prices are reasonable and affordable. Obviously some great people who run an honest business...and it seems like that's a rare find anymore. I honestly appreciate you guys!

Mike and Ashley have a very honest and professional establishment that provides a fair price for excellent work. Mike will not only explain what you need but will not push anything extra. If you need help and trust your not getting screwed than Blue Collar Mobile Mechanics is the right place for you. I have to say, I found my "family" auto shop! I'm fairly new to the area, coming to Astoria knowing my truck needed some front end work somewhat soon. I had one inspection/estimate before I came here and got 3 others here (including Blue Collar). Each place told me different things that needed to be done. One even estimated a standard diesel truck oil change at over $350! Diesel oil changes at a shop run about $200.This was my last place to get an inspection/estimate, they actually showed me underneath the truck what they saw and didn't see that needed to be done. I've had some diy auto repair experience since before I was ever 20 yrs old, so I'm not entirely naive and I completely over the top appreciated him treating me like I had a brain (especially since I'm a senior female).They've already done my oil change and the truck is there now for the other work that needs to be done. It isn't cheap stuff! But is $600 less than the 1st Astoria shop I went to. Also, they offered to work out a plan to schedule the work according to my budget time frame. I'm just having it all done at once.If I have anything to complain about or include, I'll update my comments. For now, my bet is that they'll continue to treat me like their mother in laws favorite sister, and you know they'll hear about it forever if they screw me over!! These guys are wizards! Easy on the wallet and got me in quick, super personable. Had multiple things going on with my Subaru (rat ate through a bit of, hard to get to, wiring and some axle issues) had my car back on the road working better than ever. I had an issue with the power steering pump on my car. The guys ended up getting 2 faulty pumps before getting one that worked as it should. They were dedicated to solving this problem, and the owner started after hours to make sure he could get my car fixed for the road trip I planned for the next day. Mike hasn't worked on my personal car, unfortunately when he started having others pick up his work it has come out less than ideal. I've been coming here a few years and I am sad to see the decline in quality and attentiveness to issues. Mike and his wife are amazing people/mechanic but the hired help could be improved with training. I appreciate them but haven't been satisfied the last few times.

Cancelled appt...So I have no idea what to say about them.The only reason im writing any statement is the APP on my phone demands this of me for whatever reason.I cancelled the appointment because I already have a diagnosis on my vehicle from a mechanic only 72 hours prior.Redundancy is Completely unnecessary...i already know whats wrong with the car so why keep doing more diagnostics. Just get it fixed or flip it. Thanks

My ignition froze up and my key wouldn t turn.Mike came out to my house. Determined I needed an ignition cylinder.He got the part and came out and replaced it and it reeeely gave him a hard time coming out!The new one is smooth and works great!!Really reasonable bill!!So I easy!Thank You Mike and Ashly!Fine Job!

Blue Collar Mobile Mechanics is one of the best auto repair shops I have ever been to. Mike Davis and his wife, who works the front office, are both friendly and helpful. I was having trouble with my alternator over the weekend and when I called Mike on Monday morning, he said he could work me into his schedule. And to my surprise, he had my car back to be before noon. He also allowed me to bring in my own parts! I've had my car worked on at a couple of other places in town and Blue Collar has them both beat in price and in customer service. If you need any work done on your vehicle, I would recommend going to Blue Collar Mobile Mechanics, you will not be disappointed.Karen O. Astoria, Oregon

My husband and I were traveling from out of town on our way to Cannon Beach, Oregon. We got all the way up to Astoria, Oregon and our car suddenly died like it ran out of gas. My husband is not super mechanically inclined so we immediately got online to look for a place that was available to drive out to where our vehicle died, to see if they could diagnose the problem. I knew it would be a longshot and we would probably have to get it towed to a shop however we ended up calling a few shops and none of them were able to drive out to us except one! Blue Collar Mobile Mechanics came to our rescue. A guy named Mike came out to diagnose the issue on the spot about 20 minutes later, which is way quicker than we expected it to be. Long story short Mike spent the next 4 hours changing our fuel pump. They were very fairly priced and quite honestly we would ve been willing to pay more for the services because we were incredibly grateful! I don t know if it was us being in the right place at the right time or if the man upstairs knew we needed an angel that day, what I do know is I ll never forget it. Ball barings went out on our boat at Fort Stevens in the road. The ranger gave us Mike's number. He was there in about 30 minutes with the parts! Did a great job for a reasonable price when we were stuck and could have nailed us. Cant say enough about how inconsiderate and professional he was. Wish I could find someone like him in Portland.

Whoa! The MOST honest and decent people I've dealt with in years when it comes to Vehicle repair!! While driving across the Lewis and Clark River bridge, another full size pickup truck clipped my mirror knocking the glass from the frame. I expected to pay at least a minimum to place the glass back into the housing (I tried unsuccessfully for 30 minutes!). The mechanic on duty looked at my rig and spent several frustrating minutes trying to get the parts to snap back together. Finally; viola! Success!. He so kindly refused to take my money but asked I consider them the next time I need repair. DONE!! Class. Pure Class. These folks are the BEST.
