Anne and I, yesterday, had such a pleasant experience at Dave's Performance Hybrids. Dave and Sam were humans, treating other humans well. They listened, delivered, and treated us fairly, for exceptional service. Isn't this what we all want and expect? The appreciation for our business and great service. We haven't had this at a dealership. They have earned our continued business.

5 stars is just not enough stars. My son said it best, 25 stars out of 5. The gentlemen at Dave's Performance Hybrids took immaculate care of my car and my family. The work was absolutely spot on and quality, they went above and beyond what was asked of them, they called me and told me what it needed BEFORE doing any work, and the price was more than respectable. I live 3 hours away but when I heard what a good job they do and how well they treat their customers I would have driven 6 hours. My Prius came on a car dolly and I was able to drive it home with a happy smile on my face today. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience here and will be glad to take my car back next time she needs any help and will know she will be in good hands. There are no words to express my true gratitude to these guys and the work they do. Thank you guys, from me, my family, and our Prius Sylvia Critter!!!

My wife got in an accident and needed a reliable car ASAP. We decided to get a prius v and after looking around we finally found one here but it needed some work. Dave and his crew worked tirelessly to get it ready for us, they even finished it up a day early! I highly recommend them for all of your prius and other hybrid needs!

Great place.They are the best place to buy a car that's new to you because they really care for their customers.The only bad thing I can say is that it's a shame that they only have one shop.I want more locations!Thanks Dave and Eddie for being awesome, I know your whole crew is awesome too, but I don't know them by name.I was given a 30 day warranty on the used truck I bought there because they know that they are selling quality vehicles. My truck is running like a champ!I have another bad thing to say, I am not happy that I bought my other cars from somewhere else.I highly recommend Dave's performance hybrids for any of your automobile needs. From maintenance, to vehicles for sale, Dave's rules!

My wife and I bought a 2005 Prius from Dave just a few weeks ago. He doesn't have a large selection, but what he does have are cars that have been thoroughly gone over and things like tires, belts, hoses, fluids are brand new and everything has been carefully inspected. Dave and his team have decades of experience with Toyota and hybrids in particular. Dave is not your typical second hand car dealer, he is honest, clear and up front about everything. Normally I would be concerned about buying a 17 year old car but knowing that Dave went through it and will be there in future to take care of issues that come up, is very comforting. We could not be more pleased with our purchase. We are recommending Dave to all of our friends and give him the highest praise in this review. Thanks Dave!!

Hey guys it's about time I wrote you guys your review. I had the 2012 Prius that ended up taking a new set of pistons and one rod to get it back on the road again. You guys are awesome Hi-Tech and I believe you're the top in your field. The car has been doing wonderfully we've already put close to 2000 miles on it and we're heading home to Virginia as we speak. I have no doubt that the car will keep running flawlessly for the next 50 to 75,000 Mi if not more let's keep our fingers crossed. Dave was a pleasure to do business with and even though the bill stung a little bit I knew that it was in good hands and was being done by the professionals. If you have a Toyota Prius or in need of repairs I highly recommend Dave's hybrid high performance shop in Albany Oregon. So good night from Ohio and good morning to Virginia and we'll see everybody in the morning bye

I had done an engine swap on my Lexus ct200h with a gen 4 Prius motor at a different shop. I was only getting 36 mpg and the engine was overheating. My old mechanic couldn't fix it. Dave looked at the car, took a couple of days to evaluate what the real issues were, and then immediately fixed everything. I'm getting 45 mpg now and my car is driving better than ever with 270k miles on it! I'm a very happy customer and recommend Dave and his shop to everyone that needs a mechanic. He actually knows how to diagnose properly instead of just throwing parts at a problem until he finds a solution. Thank you, I'm finally happy with my car thanks to Dave and your team!

My Nissan Altima Hybrid was having issues starting, Dealer gave up and told us to call Dave's. They ran full diagnostics many times and had test runs to weed out any potential issues. The reviews on this place DON'T lie. Dave, Eddy and their team were really helpful. I had brought in my 2003 Prius with 300k miles thinking it was going to be time to get a new car, but somehow they managed to save my Prius from going to the scrap yard. I highly recommend this place if you have a Prius. These guys know what they're doing! Hybrid Central! This is the only place in town that focuses on hybrid vehicles. Not only do they have used vehicles in great shape to shop for they also repair vehicles.Dave himself met us at the door and showed us around. We were very impressed with his knowledge and experience with this sort of purchase.No high pressure sales techniques, just honest and upfront communication.Although not a giant lot there was a good variety to choose from. Reasonable pricing too! A great small business in Albany/Corvallis area that deserves to be supported!Thanks Dave!

Intelligent, knowledgeable, honest, professional. Excellence in repairs and personal customer service. I trust them. They are very accommodating and have a nice clean comfortable waiting room. They also work on cars other than hybrids. I've had engine work done on my old Toyota and bought my tires there. My catalytic converter was stolen off my car. I drove over to Dave's without an appointment and they were able to take care of my car right away. The stars aligned for me on that one! Dave and his staff are awesome no matter the circumstances. Professional and courteous and definitely know hybrids. WOW, what a great car buying experience! It all started with a conversation with trusted co-workers pointing yours truly towards a quality used car purchase. "I could use a quality used car" I said. "Well ya big Lumix, haven't you heard of Dave's Performance Hybrids?" Said all the wonderful people I work with. " No I haven't " I said, and well the rest is history, this was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had, and I've bought a lot of cars. Dave, Eddy, Mike thanks a million. I love my new to me Prius, and I'll even bring it in for servicing. That Dave, what a guy to look up to.

This business is amazing. I know I m in good hands going to Dave s for check ups on my 07 Prius my dad and I had purchased from them, they are professional, kind and trust worthy. They offer a guest room for if you choose to wait there with coffee and hot chocolate. Enjoy sipping a hot cup while admiring their adorable pup that loves to greet everyone & is absolutely adorable. I took my 2006 insight to my normal mechanic when the check engine light came on and it wouldn t start. They looked at it and told me that the charging system was faulty and I would need a new transmission for around $6000. This was much more then I was willing to spend on the vehicle and I was at a huge loss as I had just bought the car and only put 4000 miles on it since purchase. After talking with some friends one of them recommend Dave s to have a look. He not only diagnosed the problem as something else but took care of the work in a timely manner and did a great professional job. I will be taking my car to him from now on. Truly a magician. Dave & his team fixed my car plain and simple! After my car went to three previous mechanics and all of them scratching their heads, Dave & his team not only fixed my car, but informed me about other recalls so I could get all of those fixed on my car as well. They were professional, they were efficient, and communicated clearly. They listened. They fixed, they satisfied this customer. I drove away smiling.

My Mother-in-law s car was having trouble while she was visiting us from another state. We called Dave s shop and he fit us in the same day. The service was speedy, professional and was thoroughly explained to us. There were also recommendations for future service that made a lot of sense. I appreciate the professionalism, the quality of service and value from this business. Dave knows what he is doing. I would recommend this business to anyone.

This was by far one of the best experiences I've had with an auto shop. They were so helpful and transparent about what needed to be done to my car and how they could help. Dave even personally walked us through the checklist of maintenance we needed and list most important to what could be done later. Dave s Performance Hybrids was recommended to me by another extremely satisfied customer to take care of my Prius when my car, as I was to find out later, had a failed inverter for the second time. My 2012 Prius was upwards of 175k miles, and I ve done little to service short of get in and go, synthetic oil changes, tires and breaks. Dave answered me via text when his shop was closed, and allowed me to have my car towed to his shop on Memorial Day weekend, saving me from leaving it in my friend s driveway for days. Promptly upon opening next day of business, Dave called me with the rundown. He told me of things that were critical to complete, could stand to be completed, and not necessary. He also, most importantly to me, determined that my inverter repair, which I had already had done at another shop in March of 2017 with a refurbished part from eBay, should have been covered on an extended warranty by the dealer both at the point the dealer diagnosed in 2017, and this go round. Over the next couple of days, Dave quickly took care of the service requirements for my vehicle. He printed out all of the paperwork I would then need, and coached me on what to say to secure the warranty repair that should have been completed the first time when I was instead quoted close to 4k for repair. In the end, Dave stayed available and involved until my warranty service was complete at dealership, and I was reimbursed the out of pocket I had paid originally for same repair. The dealer made right by the original point of dropping the ball, but I m confident this would not have been recognized the second time either had I not been armed with information. I would absolutely recommend Dave for any hybrid need. Thank you Dave!!! My car has increased 10 miles per gallon from the maintenance and repairs.

Just bought a 2007 Toyota Prius from Dave. Wonderful experience. Dave's very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend to anyone who has a hybrid that needs service or you're looking for a good reconditioned hybrid to buy to seriously consider Dave's Performance Hybrids as your shop of choice.

Dave is great! Brought my daughter's 2007 Prius in with with a check engine light which the dealership said would cost $2,200 to fix. Dave and his crew worked to find the real reason.
