Awesome and honest team! These guys were able to diagnose an electrical problem with my Chevy Silverado within a few hours that literally saved me $$$. Definitely recommend and I will be going back to them if I need some help!

Overall fantastic experience. I have never worked with another mechanic with so much character, integrity, and perseverance. Colt and his team worked incredibly hard to make sure I was taken care of. And my car runs better now than it ever has.

Colt and his wife are fantastic. I had not one, but two somewhat serious repairs come up right before a big road/camping trip I had planned. They fit me into their already busy schedule and got it done in a timely fashion. And the repairs held up beautifully on my road trip that followed just days after Colt was done with it. 2000 miles of rocky terrain, pot holes and all the other elements, with no issues. Colt does a quality job and does it right. I'm taking my truck to him from here on out. 6/5 stars.

Extremely trustworthy and honest mechanic for car repair - I couldn t recommend Backonda any higher! My Honda needed a timing bell change and Colt fitted me in within a reasonable time frame at did it at a really fair price. Much fairer than the quotes I got from other local mechanics in Albany. I really appreciated the hard work to get it done in one day so I could drive it home that evening. They would be my go-to mechanic if I lived closer to the area. Customer service was amazing too - Colt and Chantel were such lovely people!! Couldn t recommend highly enough 5*

My car Died while driving through Albany and I was fortunate enough to be referred to Colt at Backonda Road.*** Great business name, as I really wanted to get back on the road again!In my situation, Colt came to where I was stranded & diagnosed (easily) that it was my timing belt My stomach churned, having heard horror stories over my lifetime when the timing belt was involved Colt assured me that it could be replaced & not to worry. He was busy that day with other work and yet he moved his schedule around a little to help this stranded traveler! It wasn t an easy job to do, yet Colt had me Backonda Road by the end of the day!!!I also had the genuine pleasure of meeting & chatting with Colt s wife and boys. A truly good family, top notch mechanic and very deserving of giving them our business!!!I HIGHLY recommend Backonda Road and will definitely trust them with my business in the future .

My husband s 1999 Dodge diesel was having starting issues. Colt was available, ran a diagnostic, replaced the starter and got us back on da road again. He knows his stuff, does quality work, and is affordable. We definitely recommend Backonda Road!

The dealership told me a replacement catalytic converter was unavailable with no estimate on when another would be produced. Colt got a new part and had it installed in 3 days and for $1000 less than the what the dealer was quoting if they could get the part eventually. He also took the time to explain what was causing the issues with my car. Can't recommend this place enough!

This is the shop to take your vehicle to! If you want to take your vehicles to someone who will fix it right and takes pride in their work , then take it here! Friendly Great attitude, professional work and honest recommendations. Just wish I would have bought my car here a long time ago. I highly recommend this shop!! We have been going to them for a long time for all our mechanical needs. I cannot recommend these guys enough. My car broke down while I was on a road trip and they were the most helpful and understanding people I have ever experienced. They were even able to store the car until I finished my trip.Love em!

I call colt for everything on my vehicles and I live in Washington with little automotive experience but he's able to teach me and walk me through everything over the phone, it's pretty incredible, he's like a auto ninja, just by a sound he's always right on what to do. I didn't use the business but this dude was super helpful came out and helped me fix my throttle wire which was causing my pedal to stuck to the floor you can tell he really cares and does the job the help was very appreciated
