This place is amazing. Professional and very personable. I took my 2009 Silverado in because something kept draining the battery. It is called a parasitic draw and from what I have read, VERY difficult to find where the problem is. They found my alternator had some problems and replaced it for a reasonable amount. Yet 2 days later, my battery was dead. I got it back to the shop where the mechanic began trouble shooting for the problem. It took 2 weeks of testing it, but they fixed it. I was overjoyed but so apprehensive of what it would cost. I got it back and the owner told me, No charge. Merry Christmas. !!!!!!! As a retired teacher with not huge amounts of cash on me, I was in shock and so HAPPY. I will recommend this place to all my friends. (And the owner s dog is awesome.)

Absolutely RUDE! They talk to you like you're stupid and then want to over price you because they think you are stupid and don't do your research first. Shame on Tate Boys for recommending this place to me! Will NEVER do business with them just based on the phone conversation with the rudest man to ever answer a phone.

I called to see if I could have a repair done on my vehicle. I was told I would receive a call back. Never received the call so I decided to call again to see if I needed to find a different place. The gentleman who answered was rude so rude that my 8 year old child even said why was that man so rude to you mom, men should not be that rude to woman. I asked him a few questions and he proceeded to tell me I needed to find a different place. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends, family or even enemies. Go to Tate boys instead. Word of mouth will take you further especially with the number of individuals I know in the town! Trash of a company

Good service. Nice folks. Honest and with integrity. They did an initial assessment without charging me a great deal for it, and they did a great job for a fair price in a timely manner. I will be going back and bringing my cars there in the future. Their dog is awesome as well! And I didn't have to wait threedays to get in. They got me in right away.

I am so happy to have found Rusty! I use him for all my maintenance needs. He and his mechanic, Scot, are brilliant at diagnosing problems. They get to me right away and never overcharge although they ve had plenty of opportunity to. And they always fix the problem. I will never use anyone else.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Gave my grandmother the run around and a laundry list of things wrong with her truck when it was a simple belt fix. Not what I would expect from a city of character shop!!

Rusty and his guys replaced a seal and a bearing on my truck! Had it done in about a day and a half between all the other cars they had going one. Quoted me a fair price in my opinion, ended up being a little cheaper than expected. Was honest about what I needed to do and didn t try to sell me on anything else!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I was having some engine noise and I needed a shop to replace my engine under warranty. I stopped by one day to inquire about the possibility of having Chapman's replace my engine. No problem they said, they replaced engines all the time. So, I said ok, and I set up the details. Took my truck and they replaced the engine and I had them replace my power steering pump.Once it was ready, I picked my truck up and drove home, about a half a mile. Later on that afternoon my son and I went to the grocery store which is about 1 mile. On our way back, sitting at the stop light, We heard a noise start happening. Like when the flywheel is cracked. The next week, I took it back and they said they would look at it.Surprise, surprise, surprise, the mechanic traced the noise to the transmission. What, you have got to be kidding. My transmission is less than a year old and was not making any noises when I brought it in. Still the mechanic says the noise is coming from the transmission. I drove the truck for a few weeks hoping the noise would go away, but it didn't.Last week, I took my truck back to Chapman's for another look. One week later, I have to call to inquire about my truck. People, if you expect to receive updates on the progress of your car repair, do not bring it here. They will not update you!Well, as you can see, and as you would expect, the mechanic still claims the noise is coming from the transmission. For crying out loud, Did I say anything about my transmission making noise!? No! Did I ask you to check my transmission because I was having trouble with it!? No! Exactly! But, now I have a new engine that is causing my transmission to make a noise that I have never heard before. With a mechanic who refuses to correct the problem and just wants to blame the transmission. This must be an automotive tactic to make more money, because this is the second time this has happened to me with this truck.I am loyal to a good mechanic who treats you well and actually cares about the job they are doing. After this experience, I must say, that I will no longer bring my vehicles back to Chapman Automotive and I'm going to tell everyone about my experience!

I called Chapman's last Friday about a problem with the steering on my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. I called them because my ex-husband does business with them, and he recommended them. I told them this at the beginning of the phone call - that my ex-husband had recommended them. They did not have an opening for Friday, so I asked if I might make an appointment. The guy told me to bring it in Monday and they would see if they could get me in. He didn't ask my name or anything, but told me to put my information and the keys under the door of the first bay. He was very impatient, and did not convey any interest in helping me or doing business with me. We were disconnected once during the call, and when I called back he said yeah, you need to stand still.I don't know if I was treated the way I was because I was a woman, or maybe my car is too old, or why he was unfriendly and rude to me. Anyway, it turned out that my problem was because I had accidentally put the car in four wheel high, so I didn't have to take it in there.I was relieved, and I'm definitely going to find somewhere else because I did not have a positive impression from this phone call.

I was moving my son into college, and my brake line rusted through and I lost all the fluid and had minimal brakes. I had my car towed to Chapmans Auto and Rusty and another gentleman took care of the car. I was 400 miles from home and they stayed after hours and made everything right for me at a very fair price!! Thanks. I would highly recommend.

I'll never take my vehicles anywhere else. These guys are top notch!I called every mechanic my friends referred me to only to be told it would be days to a week before they could look at my only means of transportation. Google brought up Chapman's Automotive in Owasso and when I explained my situation to the gentleman on the phone he told me to bring it down now and he'd not only look at it today, but he also offered to bring me back home without knowing where I lived. Now THAT'S 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!Only after arriving did I learn that the guy on the phone and my new found chauffeur was also the owner, Rusty Noahr.Rusty called me within a few hours with a quote and answered every question I had. He went so far as to break things down for me so I could understand exactly why it cost what it did.I have absolutely no doubt he'll have a customer for life in me and if you're in the market for a mechanic who is fast, honest and provides quality workmanship, you need not look any further. Call Chapman's. They'll take care of you like family.

I just wanted to start this over. Anyone that had read my review could see I was angry about what happened dealing with Chapmans'. I had my car taken there after being recommended. I wasn't able to get my keys to them right away. But after I did I never heard back. When I did call, I was told they hadn't been able to work on it. That was no big deal. I expected it to be dead, but didn't know for sure, and was just going to try to sell it to get what little out of it I could if it was. I kept my insurance specifically so I could have the car towed from there, and only had had the car 3 days since I got the insurance before it died. I wasn't able to find someone or where to sell it to as quick as I hoped. I waited on someone who never came thru, but I had asked if leaving my car there was ok. I said I didn't know how long it would be. I hoped soon, but had no idea. When they said it was ok, I gave my name and number, and had told them to call me if it became an issue. I didn't know at the time if my insurance would pick it up free, but kept it bc I wasn't sure. Eventually, finding out they would. I never heard from chapman's. I checked my phone everyday, and messages, knowing it was taking longer than expected. But never hearing from chapman's and never being there, since I had been taken home when it broke down, and the tower picked it up to take to chapman's. So I just assumed since I had gave my name and number and was told it wasn't an issue that it would be safe. Then to find out, bc of an issue at the title place, the information was sent to my uncle, which came a week on thanksgiving after finding out it had been towed a week before. Finding out that it now was going to cost more to get it out than I'd of made off it in the first place. I never was informed and neither was my uncle who sold it to me until it was too late. Chapman's surely never called to inform me. He says I said two days, and that's just flat out false. I can't speak to how good a mechanics they are at chapman's, for all I know, they could be great. But they never called me to tell me anything about my car when it was being fixed, or didn't even start until I called. Then when I find out it's condition, and they say that leaving it there was ok, and if it wasn't they'd call. That's just to me shows lack of caring. I mean, all I'm saying...is one phone call, and I wouldn't of lost my car. Maybe going to chapman's would be a good choice for you, but they simply didn't care enough about me to care if I lost my car or not. It just mostly kills me that I lost my car, bc someone could've bother to pick up a phone.

Rusty is an awesome mechanic and straight shooter. He's the only person I would even think of bringing my vehicles to. I have used him for many years and would HIGHLY recommend Chapman Automotive to anyone!

A very shady and unprofessional business! DO NOT TRUST! Told us how much it was going to cost and without getting informed the price was much more then what they said originally ! We definitely DO NOT recommend this business! Please do not go here ! He will tell you a price just to get your vehicle in the door and when they call to tell you your vehicle is ready that s when he will say oh by the way it s this much more bs! Unbelievable!

Car needed a transmission flush and sensor replaced. Picked up car. Within a mile the transmission blew! Popped the hood and a hose was not attached. Was told it happens after work like this and the hose pops off. They would fix it at my cost. Apparently you have to pay to fix their mistake, or not really a mistake but a guarantee they would have to do more work. Shady. Never again.
