Sales was great, but service not so much. I tried to explain to the manager of service how when I made my appointment I was told they could fix it. But then mechanic said actually they would need to order a part. I am from out of town, so waiting four days for a part does not work for me. I suggested that they should be a little more careful with the "off the cuff" answers. He could of cared less. Guess I will not be buying my next car from there. Billy will loose a commission.

Went for an 8:45 appointment and dropped my vehicle off. Didn't get any updates. Went to check on it at 2:30 and they had ordered two parts and hadn't called to see if my warranty covered the remainder of what I was there for but told me at 2:30 we will call. Would have been great of them to call earlier but they said "Fridays are busy." Vehicle essentially sat there for a day. Poor customer service.

I wanted to take the time to express my genuine thanks and appreciation to Mr. Conner Ginn, Service Advisor. I live out of town (TX) and my daughter is a college student in Norman. We needed to have her wheels rotated (simple job) at a local well-known tire center (not Norman Hyundai) however they had difficulty in removing one of the wheel locks--it was determined that it was over torqued. I decided to call Norman Hyundai (by the way her car is a '21 Sonata) to see if they could help remove the lock and wheel. I spoke to Conner and he was very polite, understanding, and most of all patient with the dilemma my daughter had with me being in TX. He immediately said, he understood the issue, regarding her need for assistance, and she would be taken care of. It was very refreshing and comforting that he was confident. He was able to get my daughter's car in within two well, and new ones installed within an hour In all my years of dealing with auto dealership service and repair shops, I had an unexpected positive experience that Mr. Ginn provided--he knows what "customer care" is all about. An unplanned problem turned into a problem solved, and a job well done! Congratulations to Norman Hyundai for having a personable and can-do attitude employee, (Conner). Oh, by the way, I am in conversations with the out-of-state dealership whose service center over-torqued the wheel lock.

This place has gone downhill since changing from Automax. I just had service work completed and they expect cash payment or an almost 4% charge to pay with a card. They don t tell you that anywhere, it s not stated anywhere until you go to pay for your vehicle and you hand them a card. How many people carry several hundred dollars in their pocket at any given time. I am less and less impressed with this place. They rotate employees and even sales staff out of here like days of the week.

Made an appointment weeks ago for today. Arrive on time and I am told there is no one available to do diagnostics today. Would have been really nice to know before I wasted my time today. Not sure why they couldn't review Saturday appointments ahead of time to be prepared. Clearly disorganized. Going to try and find somewhere else for my specific issue but afraid I may be stuck with them.

Brought my cousin s car up here because she works when they are open, she had called for 3 days to try and schedule an oil change and other inspections on the vehicle, the guy was very rude trying to tell me that I had to have an appointment for everything and could only do the oil change, well if you would answer the phone for the last 3 days she s tried to call then we would ve had an appointment. So now next week we have to drive another 2 hours to come back up here! Sounds like they need better staff!

This place is the worst been waiting on a title for almost a month and a half and other things they offered. they seem to think I have the money to pay late fees they try going back on deals they make please if you are looking for a car go somewhere else. I have bought 3 cars from them this last one is just a mess will never go back.

My car has been at norman hyundai since Jan 4th 2024 and has not even been looked at I was told it would take a month to a month and a half to just do a diagnostic on it but in the mean time I was not even able to get a loaner car. I do not understand how a business can be run like this. I know they have loaner car. I have already missed days of work due to this. Having to bum rides just so I can try and get to work. This is the 2nd time my car has been there for the same issue but now it is much worse.

No one answers their phones, and if they do they are no help. When they transfer you need to leave a voice mail and no one calls you back. Also if your vehicle is in service they do not update you on your vehicle status, you need to call them.

Sent my car in for recall work, the ECM failed (recalled) and caused engine damage. Power train warranty right? Haven't heard back yet, and I've had to rent a car to get by as I was told they do not have courtesy vehicles? They have had it for going on 5 weeks and I'm not sure what to do. They could at least lend me a courtesy vehicle until I get my car back.***I'll update the review when/if the issue is resolved. My number is on file, call me when you can if anything needs clarifying*******Update: End of week 5. They have replaced a fuse and updated the software. No engine work done. I was told they have 5 courtesy vehicles, none available, they have no idea when one will be available as they do not know when they will complete anyone's vehicle work.I was told there was no 100k mile power train warranty on my certified pre owned vehicle despite that being advertised verbatim on their company website. They tried to explain it away as "oh you're out of warranty, it only has a 60k mile warranty and your at 64k.." so... Does Hyundai actually have a 100k mile warranty or not? Seems like not. I'll update again in one week.***Update: End week 6, no work done.Rental cars are expensive. Probably should have leased one, probably would have if I'd have known it'd be multiple months.***Update: End of week 7, no work done. File has been transferred to another advisor so hopefully progress will be made? This is going on far too long.*****Update: end of week 26. No work done. I get a generic "waiting on parts" response every time I make contact. The service people know me by name now. I do have warranties purchased, I have been in contact with corporate, yet in the lot my car still sits. Checked on it today, it's sitting on it's rims neglected in their lot. At least I'm in a loaner, put about 20k miles on it. At this point I want them to buy it back as Hyundai has had possession of my car about as long as I have. Do not buy a Hyundai for the warranty, as a warranty is only good if you can use it.

Great service experience! I briefly mentioned that I was going to wash my car following my appointment, and they offered to get it washed for me (for NO additional fee!!). It definitely saved me the headache (and money) of doing it myself; I LOVE convenience and saving!Additionally, when my inspection showed that my car needed additional services, they were able to easily explain what the new services were and why they were necessary.Obviously with the additional services, I was there longer than intended, but with everything I had done (2 safety recalls, oil change/filter replacement, tire rotation & balance, full maintenance inspection, cabin air filter replacement, & 3 additives), I felt that it was a very expedient service. Also, the employees in the waiting area were consistent in checking on everyone and providing refreshments.One thing to note, if you are paying with credit/debit you will be charged a non-cash payment tax (~3.5%). Something to keep in mind if you are trying to save a few dollars!

I cannot say how happy and thankful I am for the guys here. I am driving across country from CT to AZ and my check engine light came on. They quickly took me in even though they were so busy! The manager completely understood my situation with traveling with my two girls and got everything fixed quickly! I would recommend them to anyone in the area!! Go!

***Update - entire site is under new management and I happened to bring in my car during all the chaos of changes. While it was not a good experience, they did go out of their way to resolve the issues with the car. I have updated this review to reflect the changes.***They used to be great. However, ever since they moved to a new building and got a new set of people running the place, service quality has went down drastically. The Service Rep, Jakob, has on multiple service calls, treated my wife with disrespect with the concerns of her car. On top of that, I recently brought in my car for an oil change, order a part for the car and for them to look at its oil consumption issue. Scheduled the appointment ahead of time for an early Weds morning booking. They said they needed a day to look at it. Thursday, still not looked at my car. Check in Friday, same thing, they cant look at it because there are "several other cars" ahead of me in the queue for engine inspections. I tell them at this point, do the oil change so I can at least have my car and can pick it up on Sat morning. Jakob agrees to this and says it will be ready. We go there Sat morning and the car has STILL NOT BEEN LOOKED AT OR HAD ITS OIL CHANGE PERFORMED.We are done with this service center. I have never been treated sooo poorly by this place until recent years and will have a hard time coming back for anything.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

With any business dealing with cars it s never going to be super simple but one of their service advisor, Jacob Coats, has been extremely helpful and always took care of me and my car. Would solve any problem that arose making it super easy for me. I appreciate all the help he as been!

The service center was able to get my vehicle in at my appointment time for regular maintenance and out within an hour or so. The three people who helped me were kind and courteous!

My 2021 Elantra has 10,000 miles on it, and the A/C needed a charge. They handled that. However, I was also told that my DEAD battery issue was covered under warranty BUT it would be 2-3 weeks before they could replace it. I had to get a jumpstart just to leave the service center. This is NOT ok.

The young man handling my service appointment parked my car in the lot like he was supposed to when they were finished with my car.... he never told me my car was finished. He went and had Chic-fil-a while I waited 45 minutes for my car after it was finished!! Then he was VERY rude when I asked for MY vehicle! He should be fired.

Car dealership service that will try to con you out of money. My car was misfiring, so I took in to to be checked. the first day they told me there was nothing wrong with it, and that they recommended a fuel injection service, then they called me two days later saying the 2 engine coils were out, and tried to charge me 250 for 2 of them, and then told me that also the catalytic converter was clogged. Did not trust it so I replaced the coils myself, it fixed the engine misfire and I took the car into a reputable muffler shop where they confirmed my suspicions that there was actually nothing wrong with the catalytic converter, and they just never cleared the code. This business tried to con me out of 2900 dollars for a part that was not bad.

This service department is one of the worst service department I have ever experienced. I took my HYUNDAI Sonata to diagnose what was wrong with my front passenger side window to find out why it was not working. Well they told me I needed a window motor well they wanted to charge me $648.00 dollars for the job. Ok then I told them that was too high of a charge so I took my car to a different car shop that charge me way less for that job. Well the other shop diagnose my car and told me that there was nothing wrong with my window motor or my window switches or any elctrical problems. the problem was a pinched or broken wire on the left door that was it. so they got it fixed for way less. So the shop that fixed my wire told me to get my money back from the dealer because they misdiagnosed what was wrong with my car obviously they don't know what they are doing or they wanted to rip me off. Bottom line we will not go back to a dishonest dealer like they are. And get a second Opinion if you can. Worst experience ever.Service: Auto maintenance

They take good care of our cars, oil changes cost less than at the mechanic shop we use to use. They have a new rewards program and send coupons in the mail for $20+ off. Professional and seem to be honest.

They're a car dealer what can you say. I charge you $590 for a taxi with any car I don't know what a doc fee is and could never find out from the salesperson. They're not a very good dealer but I don't think any of them are so bear that in mind I like Fords position on new electric cars you can only buy them direct from the factory no negotiation I say it's about time we got rid of the car dealer industry I don't do anything for you again

New service center is okay. I miss the comfy couches and tv in the waiting area. Having to wait in a "showroom" type area does NOT make me want a new car it only makes me wish I wasn't there.

Was in and out for an oil change in 20 min. Other dealerships I have waited half a day so very pleased on that.
