I was sent out on a job site in Oklahoma. The company placed me in this Lodge for the stay. The room is very spacious. The manager is really nice. I accidentally locked myself out of my room early morning and he was there to give me a new key. One of the best things I like about this Lodge is that it is so clean. I have been across the US and this place is one of the best I have seen. I want to thank his wife and Janeva for making this a comfortable place to stay. If anyone likes Mexican food and has the chance to stay here, try Papa Poblano in front of this Lodge. The locals were not kidding when they said it was good food.

From the moment you step into the lobby, it is obvious the management/proprietors care very much about the image of the motel. Then, the warm friendly welcome back greeting from the manager seals the deal. The rooms are very clean, the property is immaculate, and the location is great. The extra touches on the property with the planting of tropical flowers and several varieties of flowering plants indicates pride in ownership and a willingness to go the extra mile ensure attractiveness. We were very pleased with our second-time stay and will definitely stay there in the future. The price for the double Queen bed room was under $100 before tax and we were very pleased. It might be an older motel but the owners have done a good job keeping it looking nice. Con: The AC wasn t the best at cooling the room down quickly. The manager ran to turn it on after we checked in which was later in the day. The room was quite warm for several hours into the night. It finally caught up but the unit didn t seem to blow very hard and the air was not very cold.Safety: Felt very comfortable parking our motorcycles overnight/right outside our room.Food & drinks: A fairly decent Mexican restaurant is a few steps from the motel lobby entrance.

After Expedia caused an issue with our reservation that the folks at the Broken Bow Microtel were not willing to even try to remedy (they quickly cancelled our reservation as we stood at their desk), we found the Charles Wesley Motor Lodge. WOW, not only did he bend over backwards to accommodate us, be even gave the best rate he could (definitely beat Microtel). We were expecting a 'basic, ok' room, but were pleasantly surprised by what appeared to be freshly remodeled, clean rooms. Location is GREAT, including walking distance to a restaurant with a full bar. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

The hotel is a little older but it is newly refurbished and is very nice. Has nice hot water and the beds are comfortable. I work on the road and I've seen some very bad hotels, this is definitely where I'm staying for work in the future.Food & drinks: Nice little restaurant within walking distance to enjoy a good meal.

I didnt sleep the whole night after a heavy adventure trip. Beds are not comfortable. It took 2 hours to cool the room to 75 after check in. Set the temperature to 62, but until next day morning the room temperature was above 72. The bed springs had sharp edges and my leg got a small injury. The chairs looks like they grabbed it from nearby trash bins. Wifi is a joke, you will have to be inside the reception to get 2 bars. Drive down further 20 to 30 minutes and pay extra bucks if u want sleep peacefully.

Had to cancel our reservation 5 days in advance due to my friend getting struck by a drunk driver on his motorcycle. He is in hospital and obviously cannot make the trip. Tried explaining to the hotel manager the circumstances, requesting a refund but they did not care. Treating your customers like a source of revenue and not humans is disgusting.

I'll start by saying the lady at the front desk was super friendly and the office was clean and cute. These were the only things good about this place. The room was hot when we entered and the a/c didn't work well to cool it, and there was a big gap under the door. It was dark and dingy and overall uncomfortable. One of the handles on the dresser was broke, and when we opened it to try and tighten the screw from the inside, a roach ran out of it and we spotted some black mold. It's advertised as smoke free, but there were cigarette burns on the blankets and ashes found in the drawer of the nightstand. All of the knick-knacks, lights, and decorations were covered in thick dust along with the baseboards and curtains. The bathroom had that dingy dripping down the walls, and the toilet and shower were just gross. We were in there for a total of 30 minutes trying to figure out what our next move was. We decided to leave and requested a refund. As politely as possible, we explained everything about the room and that we would just rather drive the 3 hours home than stay. She remained friendly and apologized, but stated she couldn't give a refund since we paid by credit card.

This is the absolute worse place to stay. We booked online two queen beds for my husband two children service dog and I for 83$ a night. We get here after our total was already 325 total and get up charged for having kids. The website clearly states pet friendly that s why we chose this location only for the manager to up charge us again for my service dog. The manager is very rude and try s to charge for parking, kids, pets, wifi, tv anything he can think of to charge he will and they won t honor refunds. This is my family s first vacation and we are absolutely scarred from this experience

The room I was in was clean and had a modern-styled bathroom. I thought the pine walls in the room were nice - it felt almost like a cabin! The area was very quiet and had a beautiful small flower garden near the office. Also, the hotel owner was very nice. Will stay again the next time I m passing through for work!

This place is very unprofessional! My boyfriend stayed here while being on the road for work and it was the worst. After telling the manager/owner about our bad experiences, they were very rude about it and got loud with him along with other workers. This place has RATS! and also is infested with BED BUGS! After this was brought to the owners attention, they did NOTHING about it besides have a attitude and be rude. No refund, no apologies, nothing. Not to mention when they tried to relocate hotels, the owner told other hotels not to allow them to sale any rooms to them. Not cool!

The elderly guy at the reception is the worst I have ever dealt with and has lot of anger issues to be honest. No respect towards the customer and can t even answer a simple question instead talk back really rude. With this attitude at a holiday spot like this they will never make the business though the customers never return back. Plenty of other hotels around please take your valuable money to else where.

After reading the reviews I almost wanted to cancel the reservation my friend had made but we decided to check it out for ourselves.1 the attendant that was rude I did find her snappy and witty- but no rude (as a dumb question get a dumb answer) but she was nice and attempted to meet our needs/request.2. The room was clean I made my friend go disassemble everything before I set foot in the room no sign of bedbugs anywhere.3 Some may call the rooms outdated/ugly I call the rustic and outdoorsy - I was a very comfortable.4 I did not at all feel uncomfortable it was a very calm and relaxing environment-5. Also, most stays these days leave the room alone unless you ask for it to be cleaned, as we was leaving for the day- the ladies was jumping on it cleaning it for when we returned.I would definitely stay here again! Absolutely loved everything about it!Kimmie

I booked this place for two nights and only stayed one. The only redeeming quality was the person at the front desk at night. She's very kind and friendly. When I went looking for my room there was a lot of sketchy people just lurking around and peering out the door noticing everything I was doing. I get in my room and it had a musty smell like if someone was smoking all day. The beds looked harmless enough until I took a closer look at one of the bed covers and it had some kind of stain. The sofa chair in the room looked like it had never been cleaned. I lifted up the seat cushions and it was super dirty. At least the heater worked and had hot water. I didn't even unpack I through my stuff back in the car and next light took off. I didn't even care about the second night I just ended up bunking with family that was staying in another area. I'll give them that the location is a convenient, next to super markets and Walmart. All if which walking distance, just would not recommend walking at night.

When I got there at 4pm my room was extremely hot the ac was not working good and there was hair in the shower. I booked a 2 queen room but was given 2 full sized beds. Asked for a different room and they refused. I was supposed to stay 4 nights but after the first night and the room not getting cool I asked for a refund for future nights and they didn't want to give me a refund at first. Said "you're lucky you paid with a card". The staff was extremely rude and wouldn't even give me a receipt when I checked out just kept telling me to get out and leave and was cursing me and my sisters out for asking for a recipe and refund for future nights. 10/10 would not recommend this place at all. Was a very trashy hotel.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Do NOT stay here. We didn't even stay a single night. I felt very unsafe here. The chain for the chain lock was missing, the room smelled and was dingy. It looks nothing like the photos. The bathroom was filthy. I've never wanted to check a hotel for bed bugs until now. I didn't even want to sit on things in the room. My husband is a very laid back person and even he felt unsafe in the area and was grossed out by the room. When we went to check out, the guy at the desk obviously wanted to know why, so I was honest with him. He started arguing with me about how I should feel safe because the police station was right there and he doubts I have 24/7 security at my house (which we do). I told him I was upset that the chain lock wasn't there but the spot for it was, he said they don't require it because there's a deadbolt and then continued to belittle me about it. I've never been so upset with a hotel in my life.

My husband and I stayed one night. Would have rather slept on a park bench! When I turned the shower on the water came out BROWN. Prior to shower water used sink water for toothbrush, myself and husband next evening had mouth pain, no coincidence that we used the sink water (prior to seeing the brown water) to brush our teeth. .Would give 0 stars if we could.

My husband and I booked a room for 2 and we were getting dropped off by friends. The man really thought we were lying about how many people were staying. He wasn t trusting and was condescending and not respectful. My husband started to take a pic of the sign to write a review, then the man got mad and started recording us very weird. And Why would 4 people share one bed?????? So we left and stayed at Microtel

If I could give it a zero, I would. The guy at the front desk was so rude. He "acted" like he was calling the cops twice lol. The crime was he didn't like how we filled out the info card It was a really bizarre and threatening situation so we did not stay there. We ended up driving 2 hours to find a room- good thing we did seeing all these reviews about bed bugs. The lady behind us in line also said she didn't feel comfortable and left.

First of all it was filthy and poorly kept. They had towels that were turning brown, the shower and bathroom weren t kept up either. The owner tried to scam us say there were 3 other people who stayed in our room even though the 3 of us who WERE ACTUALLY REAL checked in together, went to the room together, rode in the same car, and left to go eat together (and he saw us clearly) still insisted there was more people. He didn t even go to the room and see, a very rude cleaning lady told him there were more people when it was obvious there was only 3 in the room but decided to tell us he s gonna charge us for more people and started an argument in the parking lot about it. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!! We had our doubts but decided to give it a shot anyways and it proved all the negative reviews right. I m sure the good reviews are the staff posting cause not a single good review proved right. Please pick somewhere else this place is horrible.

I have to say, this is THE WORST PLACE I've stayed at in a LONG time. Urine stains on the sheets, hair all over the "clean" sheets, hair all over the bathroom floor and in the bathtub, 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper left in the room, baby roaches crawling in the sink, and when I brought this up to the manager, he was "shocked" because his housekeepers are so good at their job. We originally had 2 rooms but downgraded to just 1 because one room was a little better than the other one.... At 90 bucks a night, I at least expected to be comfortable and bug free, but that didn't happen. Will not recommend or return to this establishment... Owners should be ashamed

Literally the worst stay I have ever had, the shower was the nicest part of the room, and it was still pretty awful. I would rather stay in my car. Shortly after checking out, they called us and threatened to call the cops because we had a dog, even though we paid the fee.TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! This place is a S**thole

This place has a reasonable rate. It has an old log cabin feel and design inside the rooms. They're kept clean and has a small refrigerator and microwave. This place is located within a mile of my in-laws home( actually Broken Bow is so small that it's probably within a mile of everyone family members) which makes it very convenient. The front office people are ALWAYS friendly. It's a good place to stay if you're not too concerned about possibly hearing running children and loud television's and talking that float through the walls but what can you expect for the price?

My two kids and I needed to stay just one evening because we arrived at our campsite a bit too late. The room was better than we had expected! Two nice, clean and comfortable queen size beds, microwave, small fridge, tv, cute bathroom. There are plenty of restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores within 2 miles and the owner at the front desk was very friendly. We will be back again!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars we stayed here 08/13-08/15At first it was fine... You get what you pay for. I took my kids canoeing and noticed bites on my oldest daughters arms they were all over her and she is allergic to mosquito bites so that's what I assumes they were. My father who was also on the trip thought the same. Fast forward to Sunday and she is even more ate up had my dad look at them again and he confirmed bed bugs. So I ripped the bed apart and BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!!!! LITERALLY ALL OVER THE BOX SPRING!!! You know what they did??? They tried to blame me. They tried to say I brought them with me. I will never stay in this nasty hotel again!!! Beware especially for your children!!!

At first glance this place looks to be a decent hotel with a decent price, sitting next to a good Mexican restaurant, but don't be fooled!!!!!! It is Indian owned and full of bed bugs. I had two rooms back to back for some friends and myself and we all got bitten. Blood on our sheets, then all kinds of preventive measures to keep from bringing them home. Also, he would not refund any money for our troubles....Money is all he cares about. DO NOT STAY THERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS!!!!

My husband and I always stay here when we're in town. We absolutely love the staff and the managers are SO sweet! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and they're always so welcoming! It's such a charming place with the cabin feel! I would highly recommend staying here!
