Kelly and her team were awesome.I had a late request to get my seats done before I put the car away for the winter. Kelly said she would try to get them done between other in-house projects. Cody (The Upholstery Tech) got my seats done in about a week and they look great!!! Thanks Portage Trim for an awesome Job!!!

I had a boat dash for a centurion ski boat, no one else wanted to do it because of the tight turns and angles, Mark did great

I got an estimate to reappolster two bucket seats and a rear bench. At nearly $2000, plus the cost of materials, I will likely take my business elsewhere. I'm sure they do fantastic work, but that's more than I paid for the car.

My name is Jonathan, and I had a terrible experience at Portage Trim. I feel it is important to let everyone that reads reviews to know how poorly-run this company is. I brought my 1970 Buick GS Convertible to them approximately 18 months ago when the trim shop where my car was located was shutting down, called Interiors by Dave in Eastlake. Dave had taken money from me and many others, and we all almost lost our vehicles....but this is another story. When Portage Trim agreed to take my car and get the job done, I had no idea that they would give it back to me in the way they did. Here were all of the issues. 1. Door panels were screwed in at random locations at the bottom. They acknowledged this mistake and bought me new door panels which I had installed at another shop. 2. Rubber seals were installed incorrectly so the doors would not open or close properly. I had to purchase new seals and have them installed at another shop. 3. Carefully painted armrest bases were scratched at all 4 screw holes by a very carless worker. 5. Driver's window would not roll down all the way due to a dangling power window harness which was not placed properly back in the door when the door panel was reinstalled. 6. I discovered 2 melted spots at the center of my convertible top just this past summer. I had the top replaced again by a different shop. They informed me that Portage Trim had used too much heat while trying to stretch the top and melted the vinyl. Yes, I waited a long time before writing this review, which should have been done immediately. When I discovered the melted spots on my top, I felt that this was really the tipping point. I rarely write reviews, but I do read reviews before I purchase most items or services, so I feel it is crucial to make others aware of this shop, which is located in Ravenna inside Mongoose Motorsports. Gary Krause is the owner. He was absolutely unprofessional in my attempt to deal with him and discuss my issues. He denied everything. He accused me of giving him parts that were already scratched or damaged. And had no problem using profane language with me on the phone. My car was coming from a complete frame-on restoration, where every piece was either new or perfectly restored. I am a businessman, and I take every issue or concern that my customers have very seriously. Every single item that Portage Trim touched on my car had to be redone or replaced.at my own expense [except for the front door panels]. I advise anyone looking for a trim shop to go elsewhere.
