O/O, 2016 Pete 587:First needed this shop 4.5 years ago after a different shop couldn't fix my truck. I returned for other w&t items when near by. The Svcs Mgr Jay could always identify my issues and his great team would get me back on the road faster than any of the other shops I've used. I decided to make them my "go-to" shop during my planned down time. (I live 2+hrs away)Just had major service and repairs done and then 2 weeks back on the road I had a coolant leak. I called Jay for a road-side, thinking it was related. (Turned out not to be related)The man showed up himself! He found, fixed the leak, and told me to get back to work...lolThe absolute best Customer Service experience I've ever had!Ohio Pete, Findlay; has 1 of, if not the best teams around.

This is an OUTSTANDING service department. I broke down last week and they delivered the very best customer service. Despite being super busy Adam got a tech on my truck ASAP. They had to keep my truck for a few days, so Jay drove me 40 miles to Penske. I truly appreciate all your hard work.

I recently had king pin issues so I took it to them because it was under warranty through them upon getting my truck back and getting down the road I started smelling sulfur I checked my batteries and saw smoke coming from them.I called and let them know of my issue because I recently had bought batteries in December of 2021.i couldn't get back so I stopped at a dealer to get them switched out because they was under warranty only to find out my batteries had been switched. I immediately called them and told them about it.So I finally make it back their way and immediately they throwing out accusations of another shop must have done it but no other shop was left alone with my truck needless to say I get a phone call from the service manager questioning my review on them and told me that they would not provide me service to me anymore they just didn't know I was fed up and wasn't anyways beware

Super-nice guys. Jay was awesome, and the receptionist Penny was also fantastic, the Spanish guy as well. But... whoever worked on my truck was absolutely horrible. Had my truck a week, and changed a filter and did a regen... He obviously didn't test drive or he would've seen that it was still doing the exact same thing I brought it in for. I feel horrible about giving this rating, but this week has cost me so much money, and 3 hours later it's back in the shop... And I'm stuck for another weekend. This guy really did me wrong, and not only hurt me, but my family as well. I should've been home last week after 3 months out.

Super friendly staff and valued my time. They were able to diagnose my problem, had it resolved and was back on the road quickly. A special thank you goes out to Jay and Fred. Both treated me with respect and, even though they were crazy busy, took the time to address and correct my issue! I would definitely recommend this shop and will absolutely be back with any issues that may arise in the future. Thank you!!

Guys did great work work on a last minute repair. Brought the truck in around 6 pm. They gave me a ride over to the quality inn and had the problems diagnosed by 8 am, fixed by 9. Too easy with the know how and the right tools.

Stay away Stay away ... Stay awayI sent one of our truck to this facility and at first glance things went as per normal. Had an issue with a fitting from the air tank. Truck arrived around 1300 and was told they will work on it right away. Around 1700 my driver was told they did not have the part and has to wait until next day around 1000 . Are you for real??But hold on this is not all. I questioned the service person why weren t we told about this earlier so we had taken the decision to go somewhere else..?? we decided to leave and pay for whatever time assuming it was a reasonable charges..but guess what?? We were told it was $405.00 for the service ..excuse moi??? We spent half of the day and no one told us they did not have the part until the end of the day and then we have to leave �S IS with a 405.00 bill ?? Come on .. this is outrageous . Finally the service person decided to just thru the truck s key to my driver and let him go with out charging us .well the point is not about not paying..we want to pay fo the services but 405,00 for just having the truck waiting for the part that never arrived???Of course this did not have a happy ending..now the fiiting is leaking more which is reasonable due to the handling back and forth but you would expect they will try to correct this nooooooooo,, they did not try it at all.So we called back trying to find a facility or a GM but it seems that there isn t any. We spoke to another person who was very nice but was not able to help, just to give us an area manger phone number which we have been calling but no answers. ..We could have included herein the name of the person who made a bad situation worst, however, the damage is done and instead of one day, now we ll waste another trying to fix this because this people did not communicate in timely manner. We understand parts aren t just seating waiting for us but that s why there is something call COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICES which did not happen here. Me personally prefer to send my truck somewhere else but here.. So if you still decide to come over then expect the unexpected and good luck.

I had a wonderful experience there when i stopped in for a couple parts, had another issue that i could not take care of myself, so i let them handle it. It was a very minor issue but they treated it the same as a major one. Got my truck right in, no wait, and got my issue repaired and back on the road. Very courteous and professional. Would recommend.

To be honest, since Allstate bought this business, I haven't been back. My experience was so horrific with the Northern Ohio Peterbilt folks, I vowed to never spend another dime at this business, and although that vow has added several hundred miles, in trips to distant Peterbilt dealers, I've been true ti my word.I bought my Peterbilt, only a few years old at the time, from them. I immediately started having issues, mainly with the emmission junk on the engine, but it was a common practice with this dealership to be indifferent to the fact that it needed to be on the road in order to support my trucking habit.Several different times I was at the shop when they opened, as prearranged, only to sit, twice, for the entire day only to be told that I'd need to return again at a later date to allow them "time to repair" it.The second time they had known, shortly after they opened at 8 am, and data analysis was performed, that they did not have the part to repair it. Only after I had "enjoyed" their lounge waiting area for the entire day did they tell me, and that I'd have to bring it back in a couple days!How do they think we pay for this type of service?????Needless to say.....I won't, I'll never go back!

Long wait time when I go in. When you call in they have to call you back because its to hard to check at the moment. When you get the wrong parts its always someone else's fault. Delivery guys are always doing a great job, that is the only reason they get 3 stars. Ohio Cat really knows how to screw up a good place

I can't say enough about this team of professionals in our moment of crisis. We were traveling for business and our transmission started slipping gears and acting up. We were able to drive the tractor to the Northern Ohio Peterbilt shop (wouldn't go over 30.) Upon arrival we were intercepted by Jason at almost closing time. He advised his transmission specialists had left for the day and would look at the tractor the next morning. Upon discovery, the Peterbilt crew realized that our tractor had an Allison transmission. They did everything they could to secure the software for Allison as quickly as possible so they could plug into the computer and run the diagnostics. They suspected it was a TCM change out (it was) which is a relative easy fix. Jason was forthcoming with me and told me that it would take a few days to get that program and suggested I bring it elsewhere due to time being of the essence and our team having a show in a few days from when the initial transmission problem began. Throw in the chaos that our trailer requires a 2 5/16th goose neck ball adapter and we were finding it impossible to find a company that would lease us a tractor in order to get our trailer to the next show. He had a technician there that was willing to allow us access to his livestock truck as a last resort in the event we couldn't secure a tractor. It didn't come down to that but what a relief to know that just in case... we had a contingency plan. He also web searched and called around to local RV, tractor shops, for the above mentioned part and allowed us to use the Trenton avenue address for next day shipping of the goose neck ball adapter which no doubt expedited the delivery time vs. having the part delivered to our hotel. He kept apologizing to us about waiting to secure the Allison software but for my money, we should've been apologizing to him for all the time he invested in our business (about 3 hours in total) but yet refused to charge us for any service hours. Thank you for your honesty, time and commitment to helping us in our time of need. Our business highly recommends your Northern Ohio Peterbilt shop for all your tractor repair needs.... a true 5++++++++++++++++ level of customer service!!

Truck was fixed sooner than expected, and they actually listen to me instead of assuming that I don't know what I am doing. I have been to this particular shop several times and they are my favorite in this part of the country.

Came in at 5:30pm they were getting ready to close. with a check engine light and stop engine said they could put it on computer get a diagnos the problem but wouldn't get to it tell after noon next day. at 6:45 pm called me in to put it on computer stayed tell 8pm and fixed my truck after hrs so I could get my load and not be late thanks guys.

Stayed 2 nights in a hotel over a PM and Fuel pump. They was not waiting on any parts just slow. Would not recommend to anyone ever. They act like they are doing you a favor. Who is paying who.

Very good parts department, they helped me when 2 other Pete dealers didn't even try to look up what I needed and both other dealers also informed me that I didn't know what I was talking about. These guys found my parts in minutes. Thanks again

My truck was in for body work and mechanical work. Jay and Joel took care of my truck. Did excellent work and got it back up and running. Felt like I was part of the family.

Stopped in at peterbilt of Findlay, and talked to Andy Palmer, and looked at some Very nice Peterbilt semis. Some 13 & 18 speed and even a Ultra shift plus too. Andy is a very good salesmen.

They try to force you to wear a mask a mandate is not a law they need to quit bowing down to China ways of life and start being more Americn .. better off to go to NAPA parts are half the price and they don't make you wear a mask

Absolute worst place that I have been show up have a video of the part that I need woman at the desk blows me off and then try s to help but is clueless you have techs at the windows looking at me and they can t step in to tell her what it is guy that s sitting behind her try s to help and both just give up and say they don t have it like they could not even Confirm what the part is the guy takes off to the back and starts looking for a part comes back with a completely different hose and the ladies like where did the guy go like they don t even communicate they look exhausted and tired I guess from sitting on the stools all day customer service was completely horrible I left this place feeling disgusted
