James was the best representation you could ask for with the company. Was very polite and good yet quick with his job. Showed up earlier than the ETA which was a plus and got me and my sadly broken down truck to base safely. Hopefully this is the first and last time I'll need a tow but will hope to have James as my driver if not. THANK YOU!!

For the first time, they looked professional. But when they sent me a mechanic 19 years old to help me, I contacted him and explained to him that I needed fuel filters. He appeared without them,then when he stepped out of the car, he said,it is freaking cold to work under your truck. How come he did nothing, but they charged me for his appearance. But the driver of the towing truck was friendly and professional,he hooked up my truck just for 30 minutes at that cold weather. But thanks anyway.

Thank You so much for getting us off of I75. We had a right side two tire break down on our 41 ft TT south of Findlay OH. It took many calls to different companies to help us. Only Ed's would come. Jacob was amazing and was able to get us movable to the closest campground to park it. Not sure if fee was reasonable or not but any company has you when it's an emergency.

Derek went above and beyond to help us when we had a flat on route 30. He worked hard to find us an automotive service that could get us back on the road ASAP. Despite the terrible weather he made sure we got to our destination on time and safely. I m grateful for his kindness. If you need a tow I would highly recommend. Derek didn t have to call places himself to help us but he did. Thanks to him I m home and not stuck overnight in a strange town motel waiting for a car repair. If his boss sees this, he deserves a raise!Services: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

Had a break down on the way to Michigan. Penske SOS got me in touch with Eric at Ed s 24 hour service. These guys were great! Had to wait a few days for parts to come in, which was no fault of theirs. Less than 24 hours after parts arrived I was back on the road. Job well done! I highly recommend these guys if you re in the area and need work done give Ed s a call.

Would not recommend charged me $700 for coolant the technician didn't fix the problem he looked at my entire engine never once said it was the radiator.

$1969.57 to replace a steer tire on tractor. $735 in labor alone, $123.87 in Shop supplies, $93.48 in credit card charge, $168.94 fuel surcharge, $124.54 sales tax(obviously can't do anything about this one), and $723.74 for the tire( only expense I felt was fair). I own a trucking company and get steers replaced on the side of the road all the time for close to $1000. These guys are too costly in my opinion. Avoid.

Had trouble with my large tool truck and needed towed. Called Ed's and they were there in no time. The tow truck operator was very professional and got me towed where I needed to be safe and sound.

charged me over $700 to diagnose my truck broken down on the side of the road close to williamstown, oh (about 30 miles south of findlay) on a wednesday afternoon. 15 minutes of diagnosis advised the truck's dpf filter was clogged, couldn't do a forced regen and advised we needed to tow the truck to a shop for repair. refused to give my driver a ride to a hotel nearby unless we hired them to tow the truck. would not recommend.

Yesterday, I was traveling through Ohio almost 150 miles from home, when my suburban suddenly quit running. After contacting a local Loves for advice I was directed to Ed's. Shortly after speaking with them, a tow truck showed up. The driver who was dispatched was very friendly, showed genuine care with my truck and trailer. There was 3 of us, they made sure to send a truck with a crew cab that could accommodate all of us. Upon arrival, the service manager informed us they were finishing up repairing a semi. But we were put up to next online. We were invited to wait by their office or outside at a covered picnic table outside. We opted for outside being the weather was nice. A couple hours later they finished the semi and looked over my truck. Just prior we were advised our story wasn't unique. A number of vehicles were coming in with contaminated fuel. We had filled up only a half hour or so prior to breaking down. They checked the fuel and fuel pressure. Both were acceptable. They plugged in their scanner and nothing. Ecm is dead. They checked the fuse and it's blown. I happen to know a thing or two about engine diagnostics. That blown fuse indicates a short. Either in the wiring harness or the ecm itself. Had I been home with my tools. I would have just had it towed home and fixed it. I've tracked shorts before. My multimeter is my good friend. However, I wasn't home and needed to drop a trailer off in Cincinnati. This is where I feel they earned the 5 stars. The service manager, I don't remember his name drove a ram dually, was genuine with us. He said he could keep doing diagnostics but we would be racking up a big bill. He's right. I knew this once I saw that blown fuse. Tracking a short can be very time consuming and expensive. Fact is I can track down that short myself for a fraction of the cost. They could have taken advantage and just ran the bill up. He was honest about it. Now how do I get the truck home? He got the quote to tow it all the way back to my house, 136 miles to be exact. The tow was paid for and my truck was back in my driveway by dark exactly in the spot I told the driver. But I still had a trailer that needed to be in Cincinnati and now without a truck to pull it. We secured a U-Haul truck on the other side of Findlay. The service manager gave us a ride to the U-Haul dealer. Everyone we dealt with yesterday showed us compassion in a personal emergency. They helped us and we appreciate that. Thank you.

They are a life saver! We tried moving a 2 ton machine from another local business and got in a bind. Eric, the owner, just happened to drive by and offered to help for a very reasonable price. Josh Clark brought a forklift on a rollback and did a great job of loading everything on our trailer. I would definitely recommend them even if it s an unconventional job that just needs some help with a forklift for 15 minutes. They re very easy to work with and offered solutions we didn t know they offered.

We were over 100 miles away from home,lost keys,so we needed a tow.The driver showed up in good time,showed experience in loading my car onto truck.Was knowledgeable, and friendly. The only star will be the woman I was emailing with. I had a tow driver change my tire on a highway me and 2 daughters in the car I proceeded to drive down the highway only to find out the tow guy didn't tighten 3 of my lug nuts we could of been killed and anyone else on the highway do not trust his work this is about safety and he was very careless totally unacceptableService: Tire change

We used this service on Christmas Eve. They helped us get thru a very stressful event as we were traveling and only half way to our destination at 11 pm. We were able to get back on the road quickly and they were very considerate and kind.

Please do not go with this company.Do not use them for road side assistance.The mechanic/ technician will charge you for 3hrs of work behind a work that is suppose to take 30min. They have no respect for the truck drivers.A work that was suppose to cost $200 ended up costing me $550.Unless you want to get ripped of by this company please look for someone else.

not even half star 0 zero !! charged me $670 last night and didn t fixed the problem i refused to pay then he called cops !!! Shame ! another mechanic came and fixed my problem for 2 minutes (starter) Ed s company stealings people s money without resolve the problem

Mechanics here have an attitude problem and will not do anything extra to try and fix your truck. Called them for a starter issue and battery replacement. I even ordered the started and it was being delivered. The mechanic told me he could only replace batteries and try and jump the truck for which they charged me 830$. I called JW Repairs llc and the guy showed up quickly and replaced the starter checked to make sure all my wiring was good and that i wasnt having a wiring issue (the extra mile here).. check all my fuses even though i only called him for a starter repair. I wouldnt recommend Eds. JW Repairs llc only charged me 600$ and stayed there longer than EdsCheck out the ratings on JW Repairs llc.. their work speaks for them.

Hi please careful these people here ' im flatbed driver ' I cross this why ' my 2 skidd move to the side' I going there place ' he push skid with forklift ' stay right position ' just spend 15 mint ' unbelievable this crazy towing company change me 740 dollars ' don't call here ' they don't know how much asking money 'careful highway driver 'they don't care about your money 'please don't call here '
