I usually wait in the lounge for my oil change to be done. This time I seen my vehicle get parked like normal, when done. I quit playing my game and waited for them. Then eventually another one, and another one. Then two people who got oil changes after me were given paper work to leave. I'm like ok where is mine. THEN finally out comes mine. Wasn't given the paper work, and only keys, and told I could check out! I expressed I would be upset if that was vehicle during check out. Sure enough I get to the door and hit the key lock and the lights come on. 15 minutes after the oil change was done, WASTED MY TIME!

Let me tell you, buying a car out of state is often a recipe for stress. But not Byers Toyota! These guys made the whole process as smooth as butter, even from hundreds of miles away.First, shout out to my salesman, Jeff Mull! Jeff isn t your typical pushy salesman. He listened to what I wanted, answered all my questions (even the weird ones) and even sent me cool videos of the car I saw. No pressure, just direct support. Points, Jeff! Then there s Ty, the wizard of numbers! Let s be real, finances can be scary. But Ty broke it all down and explained everything clearly, he was persistent in finding me the best rate from a reputable lender. Even though we worked together remotely, he made paperwork painless, which is basically magic.Seriously the whole Byers Toyota team was awesome. The guys were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about getting me the right car at the right price. So, if you are looking for a chill car-buying experience (even if you're hundreds of miles away) then Byers Toyota is your jam. Ask Jeff and Ty they re a dream team!

I just bought a 2023 Toyota Highlander xLE this past weekend. This is the nicest car I ve ever owned (I m almost 26). I was so excited to purchase my mom car for our growing family. I Love the car but didn t love my experience there. My salesman, Shayne, would only address my husband when it came to money talk even though this is MY car. He acted like he could ve cared less if we bought a car or not. I knew what I wanted when I got there, that s why I drove over an hour to get there. When showing us the car he didn t explain any of the features or give us any Insight. He legit gave us the keys and walked away He saw a young couple and it felt like we were wasting his time. My trade is was valued at $6900 according to KBB and he came back saying he could only do $3000 because the sunroof wouldn t close. I told him it does close when driving it and he just shrugged his shoulders. After a lot of back and forth we were able to get him to give us $3250 for it which was much lower than it s value on KBB. Overall I just expected a little more respect considering we purchased an expensive vehicle. On the other hand Our finance guy (Taylor or Tyler) was amazing!! He was so kind and addressed me first and not my husband, which I loved considering it s my car. He was able to find us an even better Interest rate than the salesman and actually cared about getting us in the car I ve been searching for since January.

I drive an extra 25 minutes past a much closer Toyota service center because of the people here. They are honest and never try to up-sell additional unnecessary services. I will never go anywhere else.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Byers Toyota, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The team, especially Shawn Anthony, went above and beyond to make the process smooth and enjoyable. Their flexibility and attention to detail stood out, and I felt well taken care of throughout the entire transaction. I highly recommend Byers Toyota, and a special shout-out to Shawn Anthony for his exceptional service!

Buying a car, especially across state lines, felt like driving into a nightmare. But BYERS TOYOTA turned that frown upside down! Thanks to their killer team, my new RAV4 Prime is purring like a champion.Let's talk rockstars: Jeff Mull, my salesman, became my car-buying bestie. Dude answered ALL my questions over email and phone, like a virtual car whisperer. He was patient and was genuinely interested in helping me purchase my vehicle.Ty in finance? MVP status. This guy explained all the paperwork like I was a financial newbie (which, okay, I kinda am). He even snagged me a better interest rate than my bank in Illinois offered!Out-of-state blues? Not here! Jeff had everything prepped, making the whole deal super fast. They even helped with temp tags and registration, saving me a mountain of paperwork stress.Seriously, these guys rock. Friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience, even from afar, smooth as Charles Barkley s head. Plus, when we picked up, the dealership was comfy, had snacks, and didn't feel like a shark tank. Big win!If you're looking for a top-notch dealership that treats you right, even if you're not a local, Byers Toyota is your jam. Ask for Jeff and Ty they'll make your car dreams come true!

Update! Well that s an unexpected response from the owner. So there it is!Buying our car here was great!Servicing it was something less. They tell you that you need maintenance items even though they don t actually check them. Told me I needed filters replaced that had just been replaced and it was very obvious they didn t look at them. Not sure if my tires were actually rotated or not. Probably should have marked them.I need a service dept I can trust and this one evidently isn t it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Earlier this year I took my 2013 Scion FR-S in for recall work on the engine. While the car was in the shop I had them check the fuel system for an issue that was occurring when filling the tank. I asked them to specifically check the charcoal canister as this can be a main cause of the back up. Once I picked the vehicle up I was told that there was no issue with the system and that it was an issue with the fuel sending unit having false readings ( this never occurred until the service tech messed with the unit). At the time I knew this was wrong and tried to talk to the tech about it and was told I was wrong. This week I took the vehicle in to get the fueling issue fixed at a different shop here in Columbus . After inspecting the system I was told that in fact the charcoal canister was the issue and that it had NEVER been checked before as the factory seals were still intact. The blatant disregard for a customers opinions and request is unnerving. This store and it s employees knowingly went against what I said and did not complete their due diligence when inspecting my car for issues. I highly recommend that if you plan to have your car worked on to take it to either Tansky Toyota, or another Toyota dealer to complete your work. This location is not detailed oriented and does not take customers seriously. I spent around $150 for them to specifically look at the charcoal canister and fueling system and they only did part of what I asked.

I dealt all the discussions and paper work online.Jeannie and Josh were great to work with and made the purchase very customer friendly. They also lined up for the car to be picked up on. Sunday. It took me less than 30 mins to finish to pick the car and drive home.

Didn t go to the service center, bought a Tesla model y from the used car center and had a phenomenal experience. We communicated all day long on a vehicle I was interested in but yet them know I couldn t arrive till almost closing. They stayed late and got the job done with ease. We took longer to decide on the car then to actually get the financing. Smooth process and will buy again from them without any hesitation.

Had a pleasant experience up until I told the salesman I decided to go with another vehicle at another dealer. The salesman responded with a pushy and petty text back that clearly intended to inflict guilt.

Abrielle "Bri" Waddell, was by far, one of the best sales person I have ever meet with. Me and my roomate have never had a better experience with anyone. Ever. I highly suggest going and asking for "Bri". She is supportive of all of your ideas and will not stop helping untill the job is done. We came in knowing 100 percent that I wouldn't be getting the car that day. After communicating that to her, most Sales employees for some reason take that as a challenge to get me to buy a car that day. Not Bri. Bri was supportive and still helped knowing she wasn't going to get a sale. For that, I will be back. No doubt about it. She was amazing! Go see Bri!

We were searching nationwide for a new Camry Hybrid, and the help that we got from Shawna was outstanding! The company honored the advertised price and all were very fast and courteous throughout the process. I couldn't recommend this dealership any higher!! Thank you!

We took our vehicle twice with electrical issues. We described the issues and showed them the problem. Both time they did a small temporary fix and asked us to pay 100 dollars for manual labor of 10-15 mins of checking the switch. We had to take the vehicle back to get the parts replaced by an insurance that we paid for using easy care. Each of the second visits also cost us 100 dollars in manual labor. It almost feels like the first time they just don't fix the problem on purpose. So that they could make us take a second trip and charge that 100 dollars extra. And when I pointed out the issue and even showed them a YouTube video of how to fix it, they claimed it would take another 170 dollars to even check the issue again. I borrowed a screw driver, opened the box holding the back seat and showed them the error before the guy went back to look up the issue.Service: Electrical repair

They do quality work here but are not upfront about cost. I called and asked for a quote on replacing my 12v battery and was told it would cost $160 and take about an hour. After waiting for 3+ hours I was presented with an invoice for $320 without explanation.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Searched far and wide for a GR Corolla decently priced. Called from Ann Arbor just to work with this dealership. Accurate advertising, straightforward reservation process, and great communication while waiting for my ordered vehicle to arrive. My salesman Troy was great to work with and I would happily travel to Buckeye country again if I have need in the future. Highly recommend!

I would give 0 stars if I could. If you can help it, DON T choose Chelsie Yost as your service advisor. I ve never been to a Toyota where my service advisor has deceived me or left information out.I had an inspection done by an independent shop with issues that needed fixed. I called and asked for a quote and inspection from Toyota to see if the issues in the initial inspection were 100% necessary. I ve always had good customer service and FULL transparency from every Toyota dealership I ve gone to which is why I prefer to go to a dealership and get work done compared to an independent shop. When I called, the front desk sent me to Chelsie. Initially she told me the quotes the independent shop had given me were outrageous and that she would try and get me a lower price for everything or price match at the least. I sent her their inspection notes which had price in it. I regret being trusting and doing this.I went in on a Thursday morning and dropped off my car for their inspection. I had told her I d need a loaner when I made my appointment. When I got there, she took me to the Hertz office. I got a car and the gentleman who was giving me a car told me Toyota covers the car charges while my car is being serviced. I left, later that day she got back to me with identical prices, some even being higher. I agreed to one service being done. She said the parts would have to be ordered and they can start the next day (Friday). Friday morning she texted and said the work has started but the kit they ordered for the service was missing a part so they would have to keep it over the weekend and it would be done on Monday. Monday comes rolling around and I don t hear anything from her. Tuesday morning (today) I texted and asked when it would be done. She said it should be done today.I went in just now to pick it up and saw she had charged me $210 for the car. When I saw that, I got upset. She had given me a $100 discount for the rental and thought it would be ok. Not ONCE did she say that I would be charged for it and neither did Hertz. At this point, it s not even the cost that s upsetting me but it s the principle behind it.Firstly, I don t understand why I wasn t informed that the cost of the rental would be on me. No dealership I ve been to has put cost on me. Secondly, I don t understand why I have to pay for it ESPECIALLY when it s not my fault they didn t order the full kit and it had to be pushed into another week.Needless to say, I won t be back here again. And if you do go, I suggest asking for a different service advisor.

Had my wheel alignment done at Byers Toyota on April 11, 2023 which service advised Chuck Kelley advised me that I needed an alignment which was also advised it is warranted for 12 months, 12,000 miles which I paid 128.35. Went in for service on June 3rd and was advised my alignment was off again. I then advised that I had it done back in April and that it should be under warranty. Service advisor said that there is no warranty on wheel alignments which I would I advised would of had Firestone perform the alignment since they offer a 12,000 mile warranty. I am not happy given wrong information. We have purchased 2 new vehicles from this location and not sure if will continue business with them if they do not backup what their employee's promise.06/22/2023- Byers did do a free wheel alignment but no warranty.Service: Wheel alignment

They recommended unnecessary parts & services & didn't reset maintenance indicators for 2nd time.I had new rotors, brakes & serpentine belt installed in October 2022 elsewhere due to Byers estimate. Now in July 2023, Byers said I needed new ones after 5,000 miles of local driving, saying other place did slip brakes.Immediately drove to local auto repair shop who pulled rotors off to show me. They didn't need replaced! Nor do they do slip brakes. They reset maintenance indicators. While I can appreciate Byers repair persons may get a flat rate which increases with actual repairs, I don't appreciate false claims for profit.

UPDATE: The dealer has since called and apologized for the oversight on this inspection and made things right. Improving the rating because they acknowledged the problem and resolved it.My wife recently brought her 2012 Toyota Prius here and worked with the service manager, Jameson. In my experience with this place - EVERYONE has been professional and does great work. So, I was SHOCKED to find out that Jameson sent my wife back with a laundry list of items to work on, totaling over $5K!!After my wife settled down from her panic attack, we dissected Jamison s recommendations. He listed Power Steering Fluid Exchange for $170. THE PRIUS HAS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING LOL This is just comical - i almost considered asking them to do it and see what they did. He also quoted my wife a transmission fluid exchange and a CVT transmission service - WHICH ARE THE EXACT SAME THING. They quoted $1300 for pads and rotors - even though the brakes are brand new lol Also - $1300 for brakes on a Prius is sad. He also said the cabin and engine air filters needed replaced - but those were replaced TWO DAYS BEFORE GOING. I doubt they even looked.I could go on and name a few others but the point is - DO NOT WORK WITH JAMESON. It is unfortunate because everyone else here has been awesome to us and the service is great.

They will tell you that fluids on your vehicle are due to be changed, even tho it is untrue. I took my 2018 Toyota Tundra in for service at 40200 miles. They informed me that my vehicle was overdue for the differential fluid being changed at 30,000 miles. The service advisor told me it was due, she didn t recommend it be changed she said due and so did the paperwork they printed out. However when I learned from the Toyota in Marion that that is not true and that it should have been inspected but not changed until 100,000 miles, Buyers told me, after I had already agreed to the work that since Toyota doesn t clearly state in the owners manual when the fluid should be changed that they can make the interval any time they like. And even though it is purely recommendation, they can say due all they want, I was also informed that they could deny a warranty claim if you didn t change the fluid at the recommended interval. So by that logic they could make your oil change due ever 500 miles and your diff fluid, (which was a $409.95 service) every 10,000 if they wanted. They are unapologetic and refused to explain the logic for needing to change the fluid that often. Would never take my vehicle here again.

I bought brand new Toyota and everytime I took it for service their car wash was down, maybe they didnt wanna do the free car wash that the warranty came i guess. Olso when my truck got stuck there for few days up on the lift, they said a free gas tank :) but when I took receipt and their business card they said it's been so long, which it does not bother me at all. Rather than that Toyota is great. And Jeanne is great with customers and knows what she is doing

The sales team is wonderful but the service department are truly awful. They lie about having actually done what they are charging for and openly lie about what is actually due or wrong with your car. I would recommend taking it to get serviced as far from this place as possible. The manager is as slimy as it gets.Services: Transmission, Tires, Tire rotations, Auto emissions testing, Auto maintenanceServices: Transmission, Tires, Tire rotations, Auto emissions testing, Auto maintenance

Took the car in for routine maintenance. I was greeted immediately by Chelsea, the service representative. She explained what would be done and approximately how long it would take. She then asked if there was anything else I would need. The process took 35 minutes. The high quality of service is a constant with this dealership!Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance
