I have purchased 8 cars over the years and always refer family and friends. I always deal directly with Tim and John Sweeney and they are incredible to deal with. When buying a vehicle here beware. I was told on my used vehicle I was going to receive a COMPLEMENTARY 200k miles/ 2 year warranty. This was not the case whatsoever as i was unknowingly up charged 3k on my loan for a warranty that wouldn't even cover an air filter. I was deviously asked to supply an extra $1000 to get an extra $500 out of my trade in. I drove off the lot with a legally obligated 30 day warranty which I used for a faulty speedometer. They decided to replace my fuel pump 3 times in 2 weeks because they couldn't figure out the issue even when I told them I already knew what the problem was. I then let them hold the car for a month for diagnosis for them to tell me the same thing I told them since the issue persisted. I was then told to come pick my car up because they were no longer going to withhold my 30 day warranty and asked me to pay $1700 to get my "as is" vehicle back from them. I denied and picked my vehicle up from the shop they had to have it towed to and had my issue repaired out of my own pocket for $300 not even 24 hours later. While holding my vehicle at the Ford in glenway avenue a technician left my vehicle unlocked with the door literally WIDE open and windows rolled down WITH the keys in the vehicle for anyone to have. I pulled into the lot to find it this way when coming to pick it up. This place is a disgrace to this earth and the greater Cincinnati area.

I was looking for a vehicle that was capable in winter and fin on the summer also. I think I found the perfect vehicle in the Ford bronco with the sasquatch package! I would like to thanl my friend Penny, who put me in contact with Brett to sell me the car. Brett was awesome and worked really hard to get everything done, and was very helpful! Certainly last but not least is Megan in the business office. Megan made the drudgery part of buying a car fun! Thanks to all at Walt Sweeny Ford for a great experience. I would highly recommend this lot if you need, or want a variety to choose from!

Thank you to John Sweeney! I ordered an Outer Banks Bronco a couple of months ago and then realized I wanted to change my order, however it was too late in the build process to do so. I spoke with John about this and he had exactly what I wanted on the lot and met with me that day. He was super helpful and really seemed to care about me as a costumer. Went above and beyond. Always super friendly and helped me get my dream car! Thank you everyone at Walt Sweeney.

Got rushed through the process as a first timer and made a handful of mistakes like paying 7 grand more than market price on a 14 grand car. Not mad at them for my mistakes they were just doing their job but I'd have appreciated more clarity with such a big decision. I'll know better for next time.

We bought a used vehicle here last week. The price was good, the car looks great, and everything seems to be in working order. Sales department was friendly, but not pushy. It was a cash deal, so that took a lot of the drama out of the situation. Overall, it was a positive experience.

They don t tell you past issues of the vehicle your purchasing until your ready to sign on the dotted line. Went to purchase an f150 and was disclosed at the signing that it had severe transmission issues but was repaired. Not to many would buy a vehicle with 8000 miles with transmission issues even if repaired. Sad way to run a business

Love Walt Sweeney Ford. Bought a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, Chili pepper red. Thanks to Holly for setting me up with sales, the Bronco I was looking at was waiting for me when I arrived at the dealership. Thanks to John in sales for making the process quick and relatively painless. Thanks to John for the instruction on all electronics the vehicle has to offer. PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION WHEN SHOPPING HERE! On August 16th, 2022 I purchased a 2015 Dodge Journey from Nicholas Sweeney. Although he was polite, he d given me false information about the vehicle. One of the various questions that I asked was did this vehicle have Bluetooth and he said yes. A day or two after my purchase, I come back up to the dealership to ask how to work my Bluetooth. I was informed by someone else that the car didn t have Bluetooth and that it could be installed. I figured it was a small mishap and I let it slide. Should I have? Absolutely not. The salary of car salesmen in Ohio can vary between $18,000 to $176,000. Meaning you are paid to assist customers in purchasing a vehicle. Some of those assistances include having information on hand about the vehicle you are selling. This information is needed to perform the job title therefore if they don t have the information it shows either a lack of knowledge of their job and a lack of integrity. Would you trust a real estate agent who didn t know how many bathrooms the property they are selling had? I wish I could end the story there but unfortunately it doesn t. Approximately three months later, there is an issue with the engine which put the vehicle in the shop for nearly a month. The expectation when paying for a vehicle is you will get the bang for you buck. Unfortunately, I found myself paying for a car note, insurance for that said car, transportation through uber, and a fee for the replacement of the engine; this is very costly and will have a negative financial impact on you. This is not normal, I have purchased vehicles from places such as Suntrup Hyundai in St. Louis, MO that ran smoothly for years. I say this to say this is not a normal occurrence for a vehicle to have engine problems three months in. That wasn t the only issue, there have been various issues where I had to get the car towed 7 times. That is excessive especially for having the vehicle for a year and 6 months and each time I had to pay for something to get fixed. The customer service may be nice and polite at first but it s only a facade to sell you a vehicle. When you need information in reference to your vehicle you ll be given the run around. If you call, they just transfer you to another person who ll transfer you to another person. If you email they won t respond. When you show up they will help but they act as if you are a burden to them. There is a lack of communication between the team members. I signed a cancellation policy on December 28th and later when I asked about the paperwork I needed, they had me sign it again and it wasn t submitted until January 31st. At the end of the day, they will get in their cars and go live their lives on your dime meanwhile you will be left paying for a car and still have to walk in the winter. They have no integrity. They will sell you a lemon and the laws of Ohio don t protect you. In conclusion, If you have the time, energy, and finances for that then proceed with caution however I wouldn t trust Walt Sweeney himself with a crumb I don t want.

Double booked oil change appointment at least that s what I was told.I scheduled an oil change appointment for Feb 3rd online, however when I showed up for my scheduled appointment I was greeted with we are booked and I don t know how you were able to schedule an appointment, since we are slammed . I explained their website allowed me to schedule the appointment and I received confirmations. I was informed I needed to reschedule.This is not how a customer should be greeted when a mistake is conducted on the company s end. I m disappointed as customer service is no longer a priority anymore. I understand technology is not perfect, however an apology at the beginning of the conversation would have been greatly appreciated.

Took my Ford Edge to Walt Sweeney because it is close to home.Had an engine light coming on which required service. I purchased an exetnded bumper to bumper warranty from Ford at the time I purchased the vehicle. Walt charged me $150 to diagnose the issue and tried to charge me $2700 for the repair and said it wasn't covered under the warranty. Luckily I decided to get a second opinion. I took it to another Ford dealer and the repair was covered by my extended warranty and I only had to pay $100. The service agent I met at Walt was a pretty unhappy guy when I checked in also.

I was in between a rock and a hard place when my G6 Pontiac started having issues. No parts available and no one willing to work on it, I needed a car. I called many dealerships but did not want to take on a $400+ monthly payment. In my search I came across Walt Sweeney Ford. Caren Bush was my first contact and she couldn t have been more helpful. She set me up with an appointment to look at a Jeep I saw on the website. Ty Mincy, the salesperson, was extremely welcoming and helpful in showing me the Jeep, gathering information and ultimately, leading me to buy it! I was very impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm of both individuals. I will highly recommend Walt Sweeney Ford to all my friends looking for a new or preowned vehicle. My thanks to all who helped me through this process.

Bait and switch. I received a cash offer from KBB to purchase my Honda Pilot. Walt Sweeney Ford called to match or beat the offer. I explained that I already received a solid offer but I will bring my car in if there s not going to be a back and forth negotiation. I even provided 15 photos of the car, including the odometer, VIN number, and all exterior and interior photos. I was assured they could meet or beat my offer. I was told to ask for Tyler when I came in. Tyler gave me the complete runaround as expected and told me because I need two tires, which is not true, he would need to replace all four tires so they all matched, therefore they would have to offer me $2500 less than the offer I already received through KBB. Essentially they did exactly what they agreed to not do prior to me making a special trip to their dealership. Tyler was highly unprofessional and refused to get Holly, who reached out to me to bring my car in. The whole process was a complete waste of time. In addition to this ridiculousness, I also reached out to a Nick Sweeney a few days prior to order a brand new Transit van. Nick said he would build the vehicle out for me on Monday. He never called or texted me back. After leaving Walt Sweeney Ford, not only did I sell my Honda Pilot to CarMax for way more with no hassle, I also purchased the brand new Ford Transit van from another Ford dealership. Walt Sweeney Ford is a total waste of time.

Bought a "certified" used car from here. Had a recall on a part. They claim they fixed it, but didn't. Told them the car still had the same issues and they wanted to charge me hundreds for a diagnostic test to tell me the problem. The problem was the same as before they "fixed" the recall part. Which took 6 weeks and they had no cars to lend me. I had to fight for a rental. Everyone I have tried to take my car to for trade won't take it. They all say its the recall part and its damaged my transmission, otherwise my car would be valued at a little over 4000. This dealership refuses to address the issue. They knowingly sold me a car, with a bad part. They KNEW they had a recall (class action lawsuit) and they KNEW the part would go bad.

Not even a customer anymore and Walt Sweeney Jr. and used cars manager John, still have gone above and beyond to ensure they've done right by me. These people have helped save my Thanksgiving by getting me back into my car with the help of their solid mechanics. Not that I ever wanna trade the car they sold me in but if I'm even in need of a car I know where I will go.

The absolute worst dealer I ve ever encountered! Sold me a complete piece of junk 4 months ago (though they did a great job of temporarily hiding the issues it had). Dangerously bad brake pads and rotors, bad/leaking struts, leaking roof which has caused damage to the inside of the car and damaged tie rods which has to be fixed before I can even get an alignment. I ve called them for months trying to discuss the poor warranty they sold me as well as see if they were willing to do anything to help out with the issues (as multiple mechanics have confirmed the issues were known by the dealer upon sell and couldn t be something that happened in the short time I ve owned it). However they refuse to return my calls, emails, or voice mails. I WOULD NEVER OFFER THIS COMPANY MY BUSINESS AGAIN AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO REFRAIN FROM DOING SO AS WELL! This by far has been the worst car buying experience ever!

The customer service that me and my fiance received was absolutely phenomenal. They were willing to help us out whatever it took. Jo was my sales lady. She was very sweet, personable & professional. She showed me my car & I was pleasantly surprised since I had to file chapter 7 recently due to a divorce. I got a 2016 Nissan Sentra SV with 20K miles, it's not what I would have picked but just what was available due to my credit rating at the time. I was both shocked at how nice not only the car was but the entire purchase experience.I would recommend going there to buy a car to anyone.

Yesterday, I had a scheduled oil change service for my car. And of course, other mechanic services were needed for my Lincoln MKZ. I initially received as text message about the required services, but I also contacted Walt Sweeney's service department and spoke with Todd. One of the services needed was a tune up. Financially, I was budgeting for the oil change. However, Todd and I agreed on a total cost to include the tune up service. When I arrived to pick up my car, the cost for everything was $100 less that what I expected! Talk about excited!!! Todd explained the oil change is part of the tune up package, so he was able to save me some money... and he threw in a coupon! Talk about customer satisfaction! I have been a customer w/Walt Sweeney Ford since 2021, when we purchased our 2021 Ford Explorer. Thank you Todd for saving me money and providing excellent customer service!!!
