This place is a gem. The service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. The coffee was delicious, I got the pistachio cappuccino. I had a salad as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and had an upscale feel, but with affordable prices! I will definitely be back to try more. We also took some fruit tart to go and it was great. I highly recommend trying it out

There aren t enough stars to express how fantastic VV is! Im from Chicago and this place made my trip! From the moment i walked in- friendly staff, enticing dessert and sandwich displays, special treats from Italy everywhere! The food was delicious! My server recommended 1/2sandwich and soup, allowing me to taste more! A nutella bombolino for dessert with the smoothest coffee ever!! I stocked up with goodies to bring home! I dont want to leave! What a find! Thank you for your attention to detail!

A very cute setup with plenty of pastries and coffee options. The servers are super polite and very helpful. Stopped here briefly to try their coffee and absolutely loved the Chocolate Latte Macchiato. Also tried a plain cornetto and conchiglia chocolate. Everything was so good that I can't wait to be back for dinner. Check their Instagram for details on the buffet dinners every other Thursday.

It's a little slice of Italy right in the heart of Mt.Lookout. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warm smell of freshly baked cornetti and aroma of coffee. Their salads are to die for, and the pasta is an absolute must-try! It's evident that the ingredients are of the highest quality, and as Italian, I can say the flavors are 100% authentic.

I've enjoyed coming to VV some much that I've made it a part of my weekly routine. I've been for a morning coffee, lunch, and dinner. They do a great job serving across all three areas of their menu.I'd highly recommend calling ahead for a reservation for lunch and dinner.

If you want to be transported to Italy and eat authentic Italian food cooked and managed by Italians, look no further. They even offer complimentary tarallini for dine-ins! Vouched as authentic by real Italians. Outdoor seating available. I recommend making a reservation if going on the weekend as they are busy!!

I was able to make a reservation mid day for same day Friday night. As an Italian I can attest the food is outstanding and the chef kept the recipes authentic. Felt like if I was in a restaurant in Italy. An hidden gem of Italian tradition in town. The service and the atmosphere complement the food. I also love to walk to the square to get their delicious coffe and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, like at an Italian bar. Great selection of Italian pastries. They also carry some Italian hard to find packaged products.

As someone who relishes authentic Italian cuisine, I was truly overjoyed to find VV Italian nestled in the heart of Mount Lookout. Their exquisite paninis, scrumptious pastries, and the welcoming ambiance make for an extraordinary culinary journey reminiscent of a picturesque Italian streetside cafe. One of VV Italian's standout offerings is their panzerotti. Reminiscent of those found in Bari, the panzerottis here are crafted with passion, bringing an authentic Italian experience to this Ohio neighborhood. Those of us yearning for a taste of Italy will find solace in the flaky pastries and flavorful fillings. My palate is already eager to return for this Bari-style delight. Not to be outdone by their baked goods, their coffee is noteworthy as well. The cappuccino was absolutely spot on - creamy, rich, and invigorating. The cornetto paired with it was a match made in heaven, giving me a true Italian breakfast experience in the heart of the Midwest. When it comes to dessert, VV Italian has an enticing array of pastries that all look deliciously authentic. While I missed out on the last slice of their coveted pistachio cheesecake, the rave reviews from fellow diners have me resolute to return for a taste.VV Italian is more than just a place to eat; it's an experience. With Prosecco that sparkles, a fresh and delightful meat and cheese platter, and free Wi-Fi for those needing to work, this spot truly caters to a variety of needs. Be warned, though - parking is an extra expense, but a small price to pay for such an immersive culinary trip to Italy. The service at VV Italian is second to none. Friendly staff that go above and beyond to ensure a great experience truly adds to the charm of this gem.VV Italian is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving an authentic taste of Italy. Just remember to get there early enough to secure a slice of their pistachio cheesecake - something I'll be sure to do on my next visit!Follow @angieknowsthetruth & @cincinnatifoodies for more Cincinnati content!

Great spot to enjoy an authentic Italian breakfast. Don't leave without trying their "Pasticceria" because it is delightful and make sure to order extra to take home.I have already stopped twice during my moto rides and this place is perfect on weekdays and even better for weekend brunches.

I ve tried twice before to patronize this business out of excitement for a new experience and new restaurant. I pass it everyday on my way to work.Twice before when I tried to stop by, they were closed (closed on Mondays). So I made sure to stop by today after my swim lesson.Upon entering, I was struck not only by how beautiful it is inside-The ambiance is beautiful but also by how chaotic it felt. I was not sure which line to be in and there were customers all around and no sense of direction.Sad to say, I left without being served or acknowledged. A man behind me pushed past me, pushing me forward without so much as an excuse me or look back. I said aloud, excuse me, sir. You almost knocked me over to which the woman behind the counter gave a nervous chuckle, but nothing else. After waiting for 5 more minutes to be acknowledged or helped, I finally left and went to a different restaurant.Maybe today was an off day. I ll try again, possibly on a weekday. I ll update the review if things are different.

Visited this morning for the first time. It is impossible to oversell this place! Growing up in NYC where authentic ethnic foods reign, I truly appreciate the difference between really good and authentically extraordinary. V V is the latter by far! Take the cornetti for example. It takes a true master to create pastries that are simultaneously soft and that melt in your mouth while also having that remarkable crunch and paper thin flaky layers. The coffees are magnificent evoking the aromas and flavors of the old world. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and comfortable - it feels like walking into nonna's kitchen. And as if that wasn't enough, the staff are over-the-top nice and attentive and the owner is charming, warm and totally committed to perfection in every facet of this amazing dining experience. Short of flying to Roma, this is Italian at its finest. Come to think of it, even if you did fly there, you'd find no better. Grazie mille!
