The team at Santos Auto Service is fantastic. Kind, knowledgable, respectful, helpful. They performed a Used Car Inspection for a car I was considering buying and went above and beyond in helping me assess the condition of the car. 5 Stars.

Getting ready to take my car in for brakes and an oil change and noticed I haven t did a review in 12 years. Great local place to get your car worked on. I have been using them for over 30 years and highly recommend them.

I drive a 2010 Audi a4 Quattro (B8)They helped identify the problem that was INCORRECTLY diagnosed from another shop in town Pricing was actually on par for my repair. My car was done within hours of them starting. I will be going back to them for a few more things to address on my car.Seriously check these guys out!

This use to be my favorite place of trust with my Mercedes. But after a couple more visits, I really notice they had no clue as to fixing anything major with my SL55 AMG. My transmission had gave out on me, and instead of just sending it to their transmission specialists at Highland Transmissions, Mr. Tony charged me a hefty $600 dollars for enabling my car to run another 24hrs then right back to the same thing. He knew the trans was shot when he diagnosed it the first time and should have sent it off! But no... they knew I had the money and rather make a buck off of me and THEN knowing I ll be back in less than two days later and recommend I allow them to send it to their guys down the road. Smh!! My warranty covered the cost but I feel Santos robbed me of $600! And the last time I took it in for a hydraulic ABC fix, they made it worse than what it was from the beginning! The chassis no longer raised and lowered as it's designed and suppose to. It ended up sagging on the rear passenger side rubbing the wheel well within a week. They charged me over $4100 for a job they didn t even fix only to make it worse. And because of it, I traded my most favorite car in, being too scared of any further issues that would have me HAVING to seek the dealers handling. Thumbs down on Santos for a Mercedes of high value and hydraulics. Maybe these guys can fix a Toyota.In response to your reply, you DO have me on file! I ve been going to Tony for 30+ years. He and his team have always been exceptional and I m very grateful that they are local and so skilled. The guys here are definitely knowledgeable and honest!!! My wife and I have brought our cars here multiple times and left completely satisfied.... Believe me, good mechanics are hard to find, and I feel fortunate to have found them. I work nights, so when I miss a call from them, Becky is so nice to text and fill me in on what they found. I do not hesitate to take my cars in to them, a real old-school type of feel, with new-school know how. Give these guys.... and gals a shot they'll have you up and running in no time.

We were from out of town on a holiday visit when our battery died as we attempted our return trip home. When AAA came to replace, we learned we also needed 2 wires replaced. We called Santos and they were super kind. They got us in immediately despite being busy and us not being scheduled, replaced the wires in about 30 minutes, the price was reasonable, and we were on our way! Other places couldn't help us for 2 or 3 days! We even had a relaxing wait in their office! Should we ever be in the area and need auto services again, we will definitely use Santos! Thanks again for going out of your way to help us out and being so friendly! It is greatly appreciated!!

Grateful to support a local business! I was able to walk home after dropping the car off. However, the estimate did not include labor which was a little concerning because the final cost was much higher than anticipated. Most places do not charge fordiagnostic services when you get the services completed at their business, but Santos does ((shrug)). Overall customer service was great and the car seems to be running well. I just recommend clear estimates of ALL costs when calling customers about recommended services.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance

I was recommended Santos by a friend. My car had suddenly become dangerous to drive so I had it towed on a Sunday night. By Monday morning I was in talks with them on options to help my situation. Not only were they giving me a steal on prices(easily save 200+ on this repair), but they were extremely honest. They were so quick and responsive, especially when their car lot looked full so I know they were busy. They have a customer for life now.Service: Engine repair

I've been taking my little Spider to Santos for almost 20 years now, I've been to other shops and have had to take back to Santos to fix what the others couldn't. I dropped the car off Wednesday because it was running rough, Joe got right on it and I was back on the road with it in less than 24 hours. We have been taking our vehicles to Santos Auto for YEARS!!! Over the years, we've had everything from a new engine installed to oil changes. Tony and his staff are knowledgeable, professional and honest. Recently, we took a new car (used) car over for inspection to make sure the purchase was a smart one and they were very thorough in their diagnostics. Santos Auto is timely and reasonably priced for their work they perform and always upfront and honest. I had Santos recommended to me by two of my coworkers. Not only was the service quick, they were communicative. Within half an hour of looking over my car, they knew what was wrong, how to fix it, and how much it was going to cost. When I moved further away from Santos I started to have my Honda serviced at the dealers as it was closer. When Honda wanted to replace the engine on my 2005 Honda I asked Tony for a second opinion. I did not need to replace engine!! After replacing the starter and performing the necessary maintenance car is running great. I will never take my car to anyone else. Dropped car for repair of what I thought was to be a rear main seal issue due to the amount of oil leakage on my drive. After inspection found it was my oil filter adapter assembly that was bad. They explained to me the change and showed me the part they replaced. This was all done within about 3 business days. Great service and I will be going back for sure!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My dad took his car here to get his engine replaced a couple of weeks ago and they caused more damage than they did to fix it. When we picked up the car after a couple of days we started noticing the AC in our car was not working which had worked prior to our visit with them, and to be able to get to the engine you have to disconnect the AC lines. We called and they said they had forgotten to charge up the AC so we took it back down to them to get it fixed. On the phone they told us they had to put gas in the car and it would be $25. My dad went to pick up the car and to ask why he was getting charged gas for bringing it down for something they should ve done in the first place. They then tried to say it was going to be $50 when on the phone they told us a different price. We didn t pay them because we found that wasn t fair for how much we had already spent with them and I m glad we didn t because later that day it stopped working again. We then took it down to Land Rover and they told us we had a cracked AC pipe and Santos had put dye in it to check if it was a leak, when they said all they had to do was charge it and never told us about a possible leak. About a week ago radiator fluid started leaking from our car and my dad couldn t tell where the leak was coming from. We then saw radiator fluid sitting on top of the engine and other damage Santos had caused to our car. While we were checking where the leak was coming from we saw missing screws where they were rushing and an expensive broken piece that they had tried to glue back together, but the glue came loose later. I would not recommend Santos to anyone, they are very shady and it s clear how they try to rob their customers.Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

Santos Auto Repair did a excellent and speedy job in replacing the steering rack and front brake rotors and pads. I took my car in early on Monday morning and I was picking up my car before five the next day. They even had a loaner car for me to use. I have used the BMW dealer for my repairs in the past and, in the future, I will be using Santos as often as possible. They change my oil and replaced the seat belt part that was causing my dash air bag light to come on. Santos did their normal excellent job of maintaining my vehicle. But what they did for my daughter was over and above. They let her know that it was not going to be a good idea to pour any more money into her current vehicle. Then did a complete check of the car we were able to find. They let us know what issues should be handled first and gave us prices. They were extremely helpful.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair, Oil change

We had car problems while out of town during our family vacation to Cincinnati. Rob, the service advisor, took great care of us! He provided a loaner car while our car was worked on, the repair was done in a timely matter, and the car runs great! Not only did they provide excellent repair, but the customer service went above and beyond! Rob even gave us tips on things to do and see while were were on vacation in the area. I highly recommend Santos Auto Service - 5 stars!

I had my Santos repair my radiator core support by welding in a fabricated piece of metal. the weld was done decently however when I got my car back there was dried coolant all over my engine bay and damage done to my radiator, it leaks from the top. Just discovered this after hearing grumbling noises under my hood and the smoke from burned coolant seeping out from under my hood. Very disappointed, this will cost me a lot of time and money. Would NOT recommend.On a separate occasion Santos tried to charge me over $400 for a 1hour job they will try to get over on you and shrug it off when you call them out on it. Fair and honest shop that wants to do what is best for the client and their vehicle. At the same time, they take into account the long-term value of the repair (i.e. yes do brakes for safety but slowly leaking power steering fluid is a lower priority). The team clearly has a passion for cars and loves keeping them moving. I especially like that they have loaner program so I can be on my way and not have to wait on the repair.

Our Audi threw a check engine light. For a low cost Joe and Tony determined the cause, contacted Audi for the solution, determined the out of pocket cost for Audi's fix was $1400 and informed me that the problem they found would not affect the normal proper operation of the engine or the car. Audi designed a preheating mechanism for the catalytic converter that operates only on startup. It is known to clog with carbon. The $1400 cost to clear it is unjustifiable. Tony and Joe gave me a workable solution without having to spend an exorbitant fee for no real benefit. They also confirmed that the problem was not the valve but the channel to the converter. Audi apparently treats 3 or more cars a month for this known problem, but replaces no valves. Can you trust your mechanic to be this forthright and trustworthy? I know I can. I've been doing so for over 40 years. Tony and Joe have never let me down. Never.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

If 10 stars was an option, this place would get them all. Had a thudding sound from the rear, filled out a night drop, and the next morning Tony called me with a diagnosis and cost. 3 hours later he called with a job done.Very pleasant, well priced, definitely will come back if I'm in the area and need car help.

Very negative experience with Santos after being a loyal customer for over a year. A failure to find the axel problem with my car, cost me valuable time and money on my road trip. Joe, the mechanic hung up on me when I called about the problem and the owner further wasted my time by arguing with me instead of apologizing for the error and correcting it by refunding the money for the inspection. Very disappointing how some local businesses treat their loyal customers.

took both of my Lexuses there for years and they serviced them correctly. And they got it right the first time!. The price was fair and a bit lower than the dealer service, plus you can walk down to the Half Day Cafe whilst they work on it :-)

Literally couldn t find another repair shop that could fix the electrical issues that I was having in my 1985 Saab 900. Worked with Rob and Becky and they were both super professional and friendly.
