Quoted me higher than the Mercedes dealership for service on my A Class. When I called back to discuss, said they'd called me back and never did. Stopped talking my calls after.I mean if you don't want to work on my vehicle I'm fine with it. But based on my experience, I don't believe they may be the "European car specialists" they claim to be.

The mechanics and staff at Euro Auto Spcialists are amazing. They provide great service. They are easy to work with and knowledgeable. If you want to keep your car for years and years to come, they are your mechanics.

I had the infamous error of Battery Discharged while off and unreliable starts even though the doors lights and tailgate worked on my BMW X4. EAS helped me figure out it wasn t the alternator and that the AGM battery had finally met its match. EAS even sourced one in town while the dealers had back orders on that model. Great stuff. Had extensive work done on my 2008 Jag Vanden Plas. First,they performed diagnosis. That were several items wrong. They researched obtaining all the parts. Rear door handle for example had been discontinued but they managed to find one. I am very pleased with their workmanship. They kept me informed during the entire process. Also, vehicle came back in the same spotless condition when I left it. I will definitely use them for future service.

I have used EAS for the past year plus when I purchased my well loved 911. Whether troubleshooting various codes or performing regular service they have been transparent, persistent, and extremely fair to ensure my car came back in the best shape possible. I am not always the easiest customer as I'm extremely critical of auto shops in general, but I feel like I've developed a solid rapport with the team there and am comfortable leaving my dream car with them. This shop does great work! I was very impressed with how fast they were able to fix my Audi, especially since it is a newer vehicle and it needed a major engine repair. I felt like they were very honest, polite and they kept me well informed of my cars progress along the way. From now on this will be the only shop I trust to work on my Audi! These guys are great, great service, great techs and they take the time to educate you when you don t know. They are not guys that pull your leg saying something is about to break when it s not just so you ll say replace it. They are good honest guys here, they have earned my trust 100%. I came in with a diagnosed cracked block. They took the time and had the expertise to find the real cause of the leak and repair it. They explained all the repairs and the cost. On a test drive they even found a knocking noise I was aware of and no one else could find. They fixed that also. They were professional in every way. I was extremely pleased with the work that European Auto Specialists provided on my 1979 Fiat 124. Jimmy was very knowledgeable on this specific motor and that's why I chose this shop. They communicated with me throughout the process of diagnosing and fixing the car which was very comforting. They were also cognizant of my agreed upon statement of work. I had a Prepurchase inspection done on my Porsche 996 here. I was an out of state buyer looking for a local shop to check out a car for me. John was punctual, polite, and professional on the phone. They did a great job and found *almost* everything wrong with the car, but also everything that was right. Their subjective enthusiasm about the car gave me confidence and I was not disappointed at all. They also checked the oil filter at my request (and expense) to give me some confidence of the engine's health.The two things they did miss: The cruise control did not work, which was a pity on a 10hr road trip home. And the car made a very noticeable whistling above 70mph which was also a nuissance on the trip home. If they had identified the broken brake pedal switch causing the cruise issue, I would have gladly paid them to replace it before I left Cincinatti. The whistling aero issue I can forgive because its really not easy to get the car up to those speeds in the middle of the city.But overall they helped me know I wasn't walking into a nightmare of a car when I couldn't be there to check it myself. I'm very meticulous and I was very happy with their assessment. The car has been a dream and I don't think I would have pulled the trigger on it if it weren't for John and his team giving it a clean bill of health.

Fair prices. They actually fix the problem rather than just selling me expensive parts that 'might' fix it. They have good diagnostic capability. I prefer the customer experience at Euro Auto specialist. They demonstrate respect for the customer. We took our BMW x5 to them the passenger door would not open I was at wits end with the thing I could not be happier with the quality of work that was done. It also was taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. They kept us informed while the car was worked on. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their car taken care of I m sure we will return when we need something done really nice place great mechanics too !Service: Body & Trim

Disappointing experience. Slow, with very few, minimal updates along the way, mostly when called. Used overpriced parts without discussing alternatives. Could not provide mileage for replacement motor. Oil changed with level 2 inches above max (car warning - had to siphon oil out at home). Sent email to ask for explanation on several points and never heard back. 2 Major jobs done well in the end, but very disappointing experiences to get there.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Engine repair

Poor customer service. After working with them on several other repairs this last one took 3 weeks. Called 3 times no call back. Made me have to come in the shop to get a update. I decided against the repair. Sadly I was charged 160 dollars for 1 hour full diag fee after 3 weeks and 3 non returned calls. I had even told them on the turn in slip it was the water pump. Will not be returning.

Recently took a 2013 VW for a post-purchase inspection to make sure it was in good working order. John and Andrew did a fantastic job getting me in on short notice, thoroughly reviewing my car, and taking the time to explain the minor issues and service needs they found. They were very professional and courteous. I will strongly consider taking my VW to European Auto Specialists in the future for maintenance and repairs. My only note would be they have a very small waiting area and only one customer is allowed inside at a time due to COVID, so if you're planning to wait on your repairs I would recommend waiting elsewhere. Otherwise, a fantastic shop. Thanks guys!

sharing my experience: I have a 1995 Range Rover Classic and was excited to take it to a European car specialists as i needed to establish a shop for my truck, but unfortunately i was less than impressed. I dropped the car off to Lee (owner) on a thursday who said they'd look at it and call me with an estimate the following monday. No word Monday, no word until i decided to call that tuesday, always chasing them. i was told they ordered a part which was a very easy to order ignition module. The part ordered was wrong, there was zero change to the car, it still does not run correctly. It took 1.5 weeks for them to do nothing to the vehicle, besides install fog lights which should take 2 hours. i was charged $500 - i never did receive an estimate.It took me 20min to find the part needed which will arrive tomorrow. nice folks, poor customer service, and didnt seem to prioritize my vehicle. sorry, guys, just want to share my experience so folks are aware.Service: Engine repair

I was treated with the utmost respect at European Auto Specialists, Ltd. I am not from the area and was given a recommendation to have my car diagnosed by their team. They were able to help quickly and gave me their honest opinion, which in the end saved money. I have another foreign car now and will use them again in the future. I would recommend European Auto Specialists to anyone else looking for a fast and reliable foreign car mechanic in the Cincinnati are.

I have been using European Auto Specialists for over ten years for service and maintenance on my Porsche 911. I have been completely satisfied with the services and quality of the work and at much better price than the dealer. The largest job performed was to remove the engine and ship to a Porsche specialist for rebuilding and then re-installation to complete the job. The work was impeccable.

During a recent trip from Florida to Ohio, I experienced a wheel bearing issue. As usual for me I took to the internet and did my research for a reputable repair shop. European Auto Specialist had nothing but great reviews. Lee and his staff went beyond to ensure that my vehicle was repaired the same day. I highly recommend them for any repairs you may need. Thank You Lee and staff for taking such great care of me during a difficult time!!!

We had our fuel pump replaced on our Mercedes in November 2018. Our brand new fuel pump has since failed again June 2019, we contacted them in regards to possible warranty work. They informed us that perhaps our Q2 sensor is the cause for the fuel pump failing And not a faulty fuel pump... Immediately defending their work without looking at the car..and with a bogus excuse at that. They further informed us that it would be 15 days before they could even look at the car for possible warranty work! So our broke down car is supposed to sit for more than 2 weeks with an issue you recently fixed?I am serious people Stay Away, pay the extra money at the dealer it will be worth it for expertise and recourse.

European Auto Specialist are the best. Lee and John and their crew of top flight Mechanics have done nothing but great work on both my Mini Cooper and BMW 5 Series as well as my wife's VW. They get the work done quickly, if there is an issue they call and let me know; and give me options on what they can do to repair the problem. Relative to the BMW dealerships they are always reasonably priced and do not make up things that don't need to be fixed. Even if my next car is a domestic I will likely bring it to them to get work done. Do yourself a favor if you own a European made car bring it EAS for repairs. You will not be disappointed.

Lee and his team at European Auto are a trustworthy and hardworking outfit. They're not afraid to tell me when something is NOT wrong with my car, so when I hear that they found something that need attention, I believe them. They've done great work on my 2004 Mini and I highly recommend them.
