I never knew this place was here.A diamond in the rough.They had the Honda lawnmower that I was looking for and assembled it for me, and pushed it out to my car.Great great selection of equipment - smalland large.Expert repair shop. I had my old Honda lawnmower fixed (20 years old) and it sounded better than newI can t say enough good about these guys.The front counter guy was a little weird, but small price to pay for the service I received. He was knowledgeable however.

I ve purchased a Deere x380 and a Deere zero turn z720 from Bud Herbert and I couldn t have been happier with either buying experience.The folks at Bud Herbert are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and happy to answer any and all questions that I had about various different models.I d highly suggest anyone looking for a new mower, tractor or outdoor power equipment to go to Bud Herbert Motors, you will thankful you did!Thanks again for all your help, Todd!

Bud Herbert (Todd), Spring Groove Ave was a pleasure to deal with when purchasing my 3025e John Deere verses Koenig in Oxford Ohio. Todd took the time to explain and show me the differences in the different models and also took the time with email to gather the prices and details of options I wanted and what was available. Todd also went above and beyond when the 3rd function option from John Deere was put on back order and would not be available at the time my tractor was being built and delivered to Bud Herbert. Todd serviced the tractor and delivered the tractor to me minus the 3rd function so I could use the tractor while Bud Herbert was waiting delivery of the 3rd function unit. Todd kept me informed on the status. Now July 19th, I was informed Bud Herbert received the option and would be out to my house to pickup the tractor to install the 3rd function and redeliver the tractor back to me, saying the pickup and delivery was on them. Now that's what you call customer service, especially in today's crazy world. A big thank you to Todd and Bud Herbert who gained my loyalty and business from day one!!!!! Love the 3025e... thank you Todd!!!

The place was really busy but the gentleman had plenty of time to come over and help me pick out a new FS56 weed eater.. he hooked me up gas and string out the door. so far so good it works super good also the mechanics are really nice especially Brian

Great spot. Brought over my Stihl power shears on a Friday for service and sharpening and got them back Monday morning good as new! If they carried Ferris or scag I'd give them 5 stars.

These guys have been doing this a long time. I can see how their frank, down to earth, matter of fact talk might have rubbed some customers the wrong way. I don t like to spend money, either, but the cost of quality products and amazing service is worth it here. My family has dealt with them for some time, and their common sense approach has always kept my equipment in good repair when possible, and directed me toward a solution for whatever new situations that have arisen. Ask your questions, do your due diligence in maintenance and research and I think you will enjoy your relationship with them as well.

Good service! They can get hard to find parts for older equipment. Plus they keep records of purchases. I'm 69 plus, I would go with dad to Bud Herbert since the 60's same location dependable.

Been using there Harrison facility for service supplies for many years. Very knowledgeable and friendly team!I just recently purchased a new 3032 compact tractor. Very easy to deal with and happy to serve their customers. I have called them back several times to ask questions before the tractor is delivered and Brian has been more than happy and helpful to take the time to answer my questions

I ran my Honda mower out of oil and ruined the engine. I had bought it from Bud Herbert 3 years ago. John went out of his way to help me get a new engine at a very reasonable price. I got the mower back in just 3 days and it was cleaned and looked like new. I will give them more business because of the excellent way I was treated.

to give thanks and recognition to a friendly staff, Gene, and knowledgeable employees who were very courteous to me as i attempted to explain the problem with my Xmark metro mower. Last week the mower was brought in (Cincinnati location) due to engine losing power. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts (2) to diagnose the problem, and I TOTALLY understand that. After bringing it back in, explaining in further detail, Bob the mechanic was in the right place/right time. As Gene listened to my so so attempt, Bob the mechanic overheard and immediately spoke up. Glad he did. He not only knew what the problem was but said he would look at it that day. And that he did. Got the call a couple hours later saying yes thats exactly what it was and there would be no charge. Thank you thank you thank you to both Gene and Bob!

The personnel are friendly and very knowledgeable! I have taken my mower there whenever I have had an issue with it.The mechanics are very good, and they go the extra step! Washed it when I didn't ask!I will be taking my mower there every time it needs work.

Bud Herbert Motors is an excellent place to buy equipment and parts. If they don't have something in stock, they will order it and get it in very quickly. The service department is also excellent.

Seriously disappointed in the customer service I received today at this location. I brought my ZTR in to have a tire repaired, they told me it would be a minimum of an hour+ to complete in between jobs... understandable as I walked in with no appointment. I had my truck and trailer on the lot and the (what I Assumed) owner/manager told me i could park on their property while I waited for repair(Seriously?). I asked where I could park while I waited as I am from out of town and am strictly here to mow and had no where else to go. He proceeded to smuggishly tell me to drive around the block while I waited. (Drive around the block for over an hour??? This us what you tell your paying customers? I will never return here and pray you don't treat the rest of your customers this way, otherwise good luck in business.Wish I could leave a ZERO star review.

I drove from Columbus to look at a used Zero turn. I ended up buying a used Scag mower. Brought it home and checked the oil. I could smell fuel in the engine oil. Called the store and talked to Jim. Jim went overboard to correct the problem. I made the trip back to Cincy and the mower was fixed. I can t say enough good things about this place. I wish the Columbus mower shops were this responsive to customers. Worth the trip for sure. I Highly recommend Bud Herbert motors.

We have dealt with Bud Herbert Motors since about 1984. We still have our little lawn tractor that we bought thru them. They do the annual service on it and have been great about coming out when the clutch wore out finally. They are the best! The equipment they sell is not the cheaper made name brands that are sold thru the box stores. Quality of equipment and service!

The only John Deere dealer close to me. They did recommend I stopped servicing my John Deere tractor with them because my was old. Apparently they thought they could sell me a new one.

I brought in my Stihl Trimmer for repair and they totally destroyed it. I would definitely NOT recommend using this place.

My go to place for outdoor power equipment repair, they will get it done the right way and normally pretty quickly, they only service stihl power equipment, lawnmower brands vary

If I could give 0 stars I would. John Deere mower wouldn't cut level. Had Bud's team take a look at it. Apparently I hit something hard enough to bend a spindle. I've never hit anything with my mower. Service department could not have cared less. Mower was gone for 5 days. They picked it up and delivered it to my door. Went to mow my lawn and low and behold they did not put my mower back together. The blades won't engage. Another 24 hours with no way to mow my lawn. Incompetent from beginning to end.

When I was spending my money on to zero turn xmarks I had great customer servicebut when I came back with a problems with the zero turn I purchased not very friendly makes continuing doing business kind of awkwardToday I went to Bud Herbert's and I had a great experience with everyone walked out with a good feeling

Very hit or miss. They will not even help you find parts that they don't carry (for manufactures they do service).

Bought a spark plug an a belt for my mower an paid almost 35 for the belt 3 months later had to replace went to auto zone matched it up an paid 17 . Bud Herbert unfriendly customer service an over priced!!
