I ended up at Bob Sumerel after my dipstick broke off during an oil change and was not retrievable by the old change staff.The process that was supposed to take place, according to the oil place (they would file incident paperwork, reach out to Bob Sumerel to see how soon they could work my vehicle into their schedule, then they would call me, and they would assume repair cost) did not occur. I called Bob Sumerel 24 hours after the incident and explained the situation. Without question, he said to bring the vehicle in and gave me a time that worked for both of us. He explained that they might need 1-2 hours, so I came prepared to wait.When I checked in and showed him the oil change receipt, he stated that he had not yet received a call or any paperwork about the incident, but without hesitating had one of his technician pull the vehicle into one of the open bays while we finished with the intake questions.In about 30 minutes the broken dipstick was removed, a new one installed, my vehicle was pulled up to the front door and the manager handed me my keys, wishing me a good day and a Happy Thanksgiving! I asked about the oil change site incident report and cost coverage and he replied that they would work that out later, that the oil staff were probably just very busy.I normally have all my service work done at the dealership, but I'm seriously thinking about bringing my vehicle here.(While I was waiting, an older gentleman came in with a leaky tire issue. The manager asked him to have a seat and they could do the check-in while he rested in the chair. Before he completed the intake he had one of the technicians take a look at the tire. As he was finishing the intake the technician returned with news that there was a nail in the tire and they would repair it for him.)The customer service and attention to the little things, that I witnessed while waiting, make me want to tell everyone that there are still quality businesses in existence, and this is one of them.

Had spark plugs replaced and was recommended to have fuel injectors blown out with air, also had oil changed, I was quoted a price of $400 for replacing spark plugs, ended up being $600, close to $900 for everything. One day after having these services my car had engine light coming on and didn't want to start. I took it back to be told I needed another $1000 worth of repairs replacing coil packs. There were no problems with my car before the initial service. I left feeling disgusted. I then filled my gas tank and put fuel injector cleaner in my tank. A tank later my car is running fine again and haven't needed any more service these past three months.

Horrible experience! My truck was towed to this location due to my strut bolts breaking that connected struts to control bar and dropping the entire part on the ground. It was not drivable and the steering wheel was not able to turn without bending the fender. I specifically told the mechanics the wheel can not be turned to get it in to their garage or more damages would occur. He assured me they could jack up the truck in the parking lot and replace the bolts so it didn't have to be moved. I repeated to them, DO NOT TURN THE WHEEL. Upon picking up my truck, we noticed scrapes and a bent and broken fender. They turned the wheel and pulled it into their garage which damaged my truck. Fender was not only bent, it was broken and paint was scraped. They insisted they did not bend it even after I showed them before pictures of my truck on the tow truck UNBENT. They said they would not be able to repair or pay for the damages but that they would call me back for some kind of resolution later that day. We never received a call and after calling them 2 more days in a row they continued to say they'd call back and never did. Extremely unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous that there would be damages made by them that they will not fix. Service manager was extremely rude about the entire situation as well. Now I will have to pay to fix damages THEY made.

They didn't rotate my tires. Even though the paperwork stated that they were done. So before I left the shop I had them rotate the tires. It took over an hour they weren't busy at all during this time. They give me my car back. And the tires still weren't properly rotated. My passenger front tire has markings on it and it was in the same place as it was before the rotation. So they lied to me twice and made me wait for two hours. I won't be returning again. They have lost my trust.

Very very poor customer service!!!!Even after I left this review, they say they'll call you back they never do!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATIONIts been 6 months since I took my Silverado truck in for a Distributor change an the mechanic broke a part inside my engine an told me I need a new motor after paying almost 6 grand they installed a used motor with more issues and refuse to work on it.After being notified that their not allowed installing used motors I come to wonder if they just pocketed my 6 grand don't recommend bob sumerel at all

It turned out that the radiator of my truck needed replacement but the car had started to malfunction today early morning (not starting, starting one hour later, no heat). I decided to take it to this shop as an urgent matter, and although it was 20 minutes to close, the two employees in shift offered to bring the car in, look at it . I left with a replenishment of free coolant and a nice recommendation on how to run my car in this emergency until the radiator is replaced tomorrow. By the way, they are efficient and do not have the diva behavior of a dealership . They assured me it was a half day job and it would be ready. I asked how they were going to procure the radiator so quickly and they said they could. Let us see the outcome tomorrow during the actual repair but, for their willingness to find a solution and get started on a course of action, they get my 5 stars.

Terrible. I took my Jaguar up for service and Brad lied to me twice. I spent $400 for tune up then another $800 for new coil packs and brand new spark plugs. When I pulled up my check engine lights were off. Secondly, as I drove off the lot my check engine light and other lights came on. He manually cleared my dash knowing I had other issues he failed to let me know about. I have my own business and manage a multi-million dollar company and this isn't how you treat your customers. I don't recommend anyone going to this place. Just bad business and service.

I walked in today and stood at the front for maybe 3-4 mins before 2 other employees even acknowledged me. The blonde girl (Brooklyn) asked how she could help me and I told her I needed my tires looked at, NOT TIRE PRESSURE CHECKED looked at and she says to the guy next to her she needs air in her tires and i said that s not what i said, i need them looked at because the tire light came on yesterday and i had already checked the tire pressure the day before and she caught an attitude with me and had a nasty facial expression and said again so the tire pressure needs to be checked and then they told me to pull my car up. Pulled my car up just for them to only check the tire pressure on my tires, not even look at them after i had told them 3 times already I had previously checked the tire pressure the day before. Explained to the guy that the light comes on sometimes and I was curious as to why and he said your car just needs the tire pressure checked how would you know if you didn t even look at my tires? They didn t even look to see if anything else was wrong with them just checked the tire pressure, shut the tire light off in my car and said have a nice day. Brooklyn needs to work on her facial expressions and the way she speaks to customers. Seems like they just wanted me in and out and I was inconveniencing them and didn t really want to help.UPDATE: Brooklyn was wrong, it wasnt just your tires need air Went to Discount Tire on Fields Ertel for them to tell me there was something wrong w one of my tires because it had a bolt in it. Lazy business at this location

I would like to make management aware of the very professional and attentive staff they have at the location I visited this week . Totally unaware of a lot of automobile issues when they arise I trusted your staff for the know all to guide me . I was met by a very courteous and kind Brooklyn and then felt very confident by the knowledge of the technicians once I left . Thank you very much for making me feel confident and comfortable along with secure as I pulled out with the questions answered . I will definitely return !!. Bravo !!

They were OK until about a year ago. Recently, everything has been falling apart:1- The phone is left ringing. Attempts to reach through AAA are equally unsuccessful. Online appointments are inaccurate and can not be verified.2- Twice we had to drive to the store just to receive an update that was promised, but a phone call was not made, and our phone calls were unanswered.3- I asked for an estimate last Saturday. I was promised a call on Monday. Turned out that person left town on Monday and entered "declined estimate" in the log without even calling me. Again, we only found out by going to the shop because they were unreachable by phone.Above has been a total of four visits since January. The owner may certainly manage to come up with an "explanation" with each one of those. The fact is, we don't have time to deal with such inefficient management.This place does not deserve to carry the AAA brand. There are better alternatives.

Was LITERALLY just in there. I was coming in to make an appointment to get a new tire. There was a woman talking to a man behind the desk. There was also another gentleman who worked there just standing around. I waited for 5 minutes or so with no one saying anything to me. It was only when another customer came in & they immediately asked him how they could help him did I decide to leave. Sad thing is, I was planning on giving them my tire business.

Very courteous and efficient service advisor. He took time to explain the diagnosis and the repair needed. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I noticed the cover had not been put back on fully. When I mentioned this to the service advisor, he immediately grabbed one of his technicians from inside and had him fix it for me on the spot. I would highly recommend!

I have been coming to this location since I first had to manage my own car maintenance at 16. Year after year, the manager, Jayson, has been kind, personable and honest. They are extremely patient with you and will take time to show you the issue and explain the repairs needed. They do a multipoint inspection every time they change the oil, allowing you to budget out any repairs like brakes or tires that are "coming soon". They tell you the truth about when to expect the next repair. They're efficient and fairly-priced. I have never had a bad experience in my over five years of coming to this location for work.

Its a tire shop they took my truck twice for a/c not working, did absolutely nothing to it both times. Huge waste of time on my part. They know nothing about a/c, the manager claimed they have no way to diagnose. They just add refrigerant and look around . Said it was cold both times I picked it up, has yet to ever blow cold air.

Not only did they immediately find the issue [McKluskey Chevrolet didn't in 3 subsequent visits!], they provided an additional inspection report to document the before state for my records. They've earned my business moving forward! Thank you guys!

I have taken my car here on two separate occasions. One time my brakes completely stopped working, and since I had AAA and called a AAA tow truck I just said to take it there. They fixed the brake line that busted.Before my brakes went out, I had noticed my pads were squeaking the last several months beforehand, so I asked them to replace them as well even though they said there still was some life left on them. They fixed the brake line (what I needed) and brake pads (that I asked them to replace) at a very affordable price. I also went there for a front wheel bearing and the price was pretty average compared to what I have read/heard other people pay. Overall I would say their prices are decent/average.. which is good. I don't think they have the BEST prices but they also don't charge an arm and a leg. BUT the one thing that wins me over is their turn around is very quick, in fact, in both of my cases it was a few hours/same day turn around. Very good communication on both jobs and pricing as I said was accurate and fair.

There are a number of new faces here but I received the same great service. I had gotten an oil change and I had a tire with a slow leak which they took care of. They also sent me an email letting me know what other things I need to have done in the near future. Excellent service overall.

I got my truck from my father after he passed away. I knew the truck needed a lot of work so I took it to a friend to change out a few old parts and help me do a tune up. About a month after I started to feel a little vibration from my engine. I took it this AAA site and set up an appointment with Nelson at his manager Jason. They tested my engine for me and instead of charging me they told me it would be best to go back to my friend so that we could go back over the work that was done. I'm here to say this location has the Most Honest workers in this industry. I was worried it would be expensive during COVID times but at least these guys understand the value of a good mechanic, even if my friend made an honest mistake with my spark plugs. If something more serious comes up I will use this facility for my needs.

This location deserves more than five starts. Jayson Crespo runs a very thorough and professional shop. Jayson and his team: stayed late to finish (we were late which was our fault), they checked all tires, recommended alignment but left it up to us, and gave us a discount. He was very knowledgeable and clearly runs an efficient, ethical shop so I had no worries completing additional work he recommended. I would feel very confident going back to this location as long as Jayson was the manager. He really bent over backwards to make sure we were happy because of a bad experience with another Summeral location which was in no way his fault or responsibility. (Blue Ash location: replaced wrong tires, left damaged tire on, when brought back because still flat tried to charge us for 3rd tire, agreed not to charge for 3rd, but had torqued to over 100, specs are 66-86, didn t rotate so different tires on drive axle. Taken to Blue Ash 3rd time and told to rotate and correct the torque, all 3 tires were still left under inflated.).

Worst mechanics I ve experienced recently. Had rear pads, rotors, and calipers replaced a few months ago. Was skeptical about the diagnosis at the time but had no reason to believe I was being misled and didn t have the time to get a second opinion. Was told the front brakes were in great condition.Oil change today and was told the front needed pads and rotors. Interesting to say the least. Complaint filed with AAA and getting a second opinion. I don t trust these guys and their prices aren t great to begin with. Customer service is poor (wife has indicated the manager is pleasant, I dealt with the assistant manager...wow)Save yourself the headache and hassle. Go somewhere (anywhere really) else.

I called, asked if they can change my tire, they said yes, the wait is 2.5 hours so I leave it there. 4.5 hours later I call for an update and they say they re sorry they can t get to it today. Wasted my whole day. If you can t do a job don t say you can, and have the courtesy to call the customer with an update!

I really trust this store. They take good care of my car and I feel like the prices are fair for the services I've had done. I've recommended them to friends and co-workers. I wouldn't want to take my car anywhere else, they have a great team here.

Came here for Alignment and balance, the guys was nice until they charge you, they said they fixed all good and I go back to road And realized it got worse than before, I came back again and tried to explain to them but They re acting like it s not their fault and said he don t have a time right now, schedule an appointment to another day. I m not mad about that I spend 175$ for nothing I m just mad that I spend my time for nothing

This Union Cemetery Rd location has always given me good service. They have been helpful and informative and I've never felt that they pressured me to do repairs or recommended unneeded repairs. They have also given me advice if I could not afford a repair at the time. I have also taken my vehicle back if something was unsatisfactory and they remedied the problem, no question. I am a kind, patient person and I believe this is a factor in receiving great service and attention. TIP: If you are angry, arrogant, distrustful and/or corrupt then I imagine you'd not be satisfied with anyone's service or reaction to your demeanor.

Honest and FairI have a 2014 Jeep that I take to this location for service. On a recent problem with my car, Nelson, advised me of the situation, advised me to check for any recall notifications or warranty coverage. There was no pressure or hard selling. I had my car repaired there and was told to return if any issues or problems. Both the technician and Nelson were respectful and made sure that I understood the problem and solution.I would definitely recommend this location.

I got a flat tire a couple blocks away and drove straight to AAA Bob Sumerel. Thankfully, they were able to repair my tire in no time! The gentlemen that helped me were incredibly friendly and made a stressful situation feel a little bit easier. I will definitely be returning for future routine maintenance. Thank you so much!

Not always the best price, but Jason and the staff there have never steered me wrong in the 10+ years I've been going here and have been sensitive to my need to keep things affordable. Most of the work I've had done has been turned around pretty quick. Once or twice they took longer than expected to finish a job. They usually come in a little cheaper than the dealerships on some things (spark plugs) but they've been way cheaper on others.

I ve always had a great experience coming here, it s close and central for those that live in the mason area, they always pick up the phone, there are no long waits and a friendly team. I like that they take the time to talk through the options you have on tires/parts, etc., rather than telling you one thing you should buy. Big shoutout to Arthur, he helped me on my most recent visit and was wonderful!

Nelson spoke to me on phone. He set me up an appointment for that very morning to check my rear hubs. Technician stated both going bad. Randy the technician actually had to torch the old hubs off. Many thanks to the whole team for all their hard work. They were concerned, caring, polite, swift, and above all very professional.Thanks again. They will get all my business from here on out.****Five stars again. On 2 different occasions they have squeezed my car in to check things out(nail in tire and temperature reading hot). Removed nail and fixed tire and put new radiator cap.Had them flush out radiator and fill. Very happy with all they do.Thanks Matt for squeezing in my tire fix.Thanks Randy for squeezing in my radiator cap suggestion.Thanks Gary for the radiator flush.You guys are always there and willing to help.Excellent service and team.

The manager, Jason, is a very pleasant person to speak with. He has always gone well above and beyond to take care of me and my car. He and the mechanics are all very helpful and knowledgable. Most importantly, Jason is straight forward and honest. This is how business should be run! I've been back 3 times now for basic oil changes and plan on going back for as long as I can to this particular location.
