Berlin Farmstead Berlin is a place we like to come while in the area. It s typical Amish homestyle cooking. We opted for the buffet. The salad options were delicious and they have everything you can imagine to put on it. They offer chicken fixed a couple ways, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing and noodles to name a few items on the buffet. None of the food is overly seasoned but still tastes good. The noodles are delicious and the rolls are incredible. We also love the peanut butter they have for the rolls. They weren t busy when we were there but they usually are. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. The buffet isn t cheap but you can go back and eat as much as you want so you can get your moneys worth. We paid $47 for two for buffet and soft drinks. They have baked goods there for sale that you can purchase and take with you.Parking: Lots of parking right in front of the restaurant. Large parking lot and they have a good amount of handicap parking.

Very typical of "Amish Restaurants" in the area. A large shopping area featuring crafts, baked good, condiments. The restaurant area is dominated by a salad bar and smorgasbord of hot foods. The menu is American standard entrees and lunch foods. We were immediately seated. A server took our drinks order then our lunch order when he returned. We ordered a BLT and a Turkey Manhatten ( hot turkey sandwich, on 2 slices of bread, mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy. ) Food came quickly. The BLT was good. Lots of bacon, the menu said 7 slices. My dish was hot. Servings were large. The dinner rolls were great and even greater with the peanut spread.Nice enough meal. A bit pricey but it was tourist pricing.

Nice buffet restaurant, although you could order from a menu. Classical music playing while you eat. Waitress very attentive to filling the glass and checking up on you. Food was good and plenty of selection at the buffet. Doughnuts and glass canned goods greet you at the entrance. Greeters seat your party. I noticed private banquet and meeting rooms. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good. Fixtures holding the divider needs replaced.Dietary restrictions: Enough to choose and eat, but tough for gluten free people

We visited this weekend. After arriving in town later than expected, we rolled into this restaurant not sure what to expect. We all settled on the buffet. Wish we wouldn t have. It was not homemade food as one would expect with the restaurant claiming Amish dinner. It s not. No one in our party went back for seconds and plates were being cleared from our table with food still on them. Our family isn t one to waste food. It was disappointing. The restaurant was very welcoming, super clean, great restrooms, and decent layout. Everyone smiled and greeted us as we walked past them. The displayed quilts were beautiful to look at too.Our server was super nice, thoughtful and attentive. She made us feel welcomed and helped to show us around etc. She would be the only reason we would come back and order from off the menu when we come back to the area in the spring.Vegetarian options: Salad bar is fresh and crisp offerings. We all tried either ranch or French dressing. Skip those. Maybe do oil and vinegar.Kid-friendliness: Kids get a coloring page, crayons, and a kid s paper menu/placemat.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice open floor plan.Great parking options.Nice handicap stall in restroom.Outside doors open to nice large entryway before going into restroom.

I was just there with my wife. I tried the buffet and she had a grilled chicken sandwich. The service was excellent. Josh was our waiter and he was Johnny on the spot. He came right to our table when we were seated and brought drinks and fresh warm delicious rolls. I never had to ask for a coffee refill, Josh kept my cup full the whole time. My wife enjoyed the large tasty grilled chicken sandwich. She didn't have to ask for mayonnaise, Josh brought it. The full salad bar was the best part of the buffet. Everything was fresh with many choices. The meat included roast beef, ham, fried chicken, roasted chicken and kielbasa and sauerkraut. There were mashed potatoes, noodles, Mac and cheese and stuffing. Corn and green beans for veggies and assorted gravies. Everything was hot and tasty and all you could eat. The desserts included chocolate and white cake. You will definitely find something you like for $18.99. The buffet was well worth the price and Josh made it a perfect experience.

Delicious food! Lots of good menu choices. Big portions, I took home half of my meal and had it for dinner the next day. Service was quick. Our server, Debra, was excellent! Drink refills are free and I didn't even have to ask, Debra was right there with refills. Debra took care of my families special requests and remembered them with a smile! . The bathrooms are nice and clean. We all were very happy with our lunch visit here!

Smaller, less busy Der Dutchman. Options are the same. Very good. Waitress was subpar, but not horrible. We would return, but there are better options in the area. If you enjoy Der Dutchman I recommend coming to this restaurant instead, less wait, same food.

Honestly, why not?? You're in Amish country, you need to go to the buffet. At $17.99 I was completely thrilled with this buffet of classic, country style cuisine. Mashed potatoes, corn, two kinds of gravy, fried chicken, meatballs, beef, ham and pineapple, sauerkraut and sausage - the list goes on.Just good stuff-your-face fun with a comfortable and casual interior. When I arrived there was a line into the breezeway, but within 5ish minutes I was seating, and within 6 I was making my first run through the buffet line.If you enjoy American classics, you will like this.Did I mention the graham cracker pudding?? What the heck - so good!

I have only good things to say about this restaurant! I had dinner here on a Saturday night with 5 friends (so 6 of us total) and we did have to wait in line outside for maybe 20 minutes, but the line moved quickly and we didn't have to wait longer than anyone else even though there was six of us. Even though the restaurant was very busy our waitress still checked on us frequently and she was also very kind and friendly. When we asked if we could split the bill six ways she said no problem! Everyone loved the food and we will definitely be back!

Had a great lunch! Lyve was a very good server! Long line out of the place moved surprisingly quickly. Was a little disappointed with the instant potatoes but, they still tasted good everything else was delicious! Peach pie, OMG!

Wonderful Amish and Mennonite food. Order from a menu, daily specials, or visit their buffet. They have gloves/wax papers you can use to not touch buffet utensils. Masks are not used by staff or patrons (typically). Staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual in providing for you needs. We got their pie special of (3) half-slices of pie for $6.99, if you have the buffet, it's $1 off! The friend then baked chicken, sweet tea and blackberry pie were my favorites today.

Breakfast buffet was such a disappointment! After bragging to my friends about how good this place is, we were all disappointed in the breakfast buffet. I have eaten lunch and dinner here and it was good, however the breakfast was not good. The 3 of us arrived about 8:30 am and were seated right away. The scrambled eggs stunk, the corn hash was tasteless, the home fries were frozen and cold and hard like they had been sitting for a long time. French toast sticks had way too much sugar on them, and there were NO PANCAKES. The biscuits were crumbly and hard and seemed old. The sausage links stunk and didn t taste right. The bacon, sausage gravy and coffee were alright. Very disappointing!

April 1st we were visiting and stopped to eat. We were quickly seated. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our server was nice, took a while, but nice. We received our drinks, and placed our orders. At one point my husband says he thinks we are supposed to get bread, so we stop her and ask. She said yes she will get us some. We wait, she brings the bread, then our meal arrives. I ordered the turkey Manhatten and he ordered the grilled chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and noodles. (Not much of a non fried/non starchy side option) . So mine was cold, not just cool but cold. The turkey was cold, the gravy was cool. Had to flag down the waitress to get another.I was very disappointed, not sure if we will return next trip up there.

Here on vacation and stopped in here and OMG it was AMAZING! Everything was perfection. The chicken was my fave, so much flavor and falling off the bone. They even chopped the lettuce for the garden salad which made the experience of a salad even better. And you must try the peanut butter creation on the table. So delicious!! Can t rave abt this place enough!

It's off the main street and we found it by accident. A happy accident. The line was out the door. We decided to go ahead and stay. The line went fast and no longer than 15 min and we were in. Buffet or order off the menu. My friend got the buffet and I ordered off the menu. The food was more than excellent. The servers were very friendly and good workers. Very clean and beautiful inside and out. I never give a excellent but this is the first. Hope I get alot of chances to go back.

Great restaurant, especially for the buffet option. The chicken is really delicious, home style chicken. The salad tastes fresh. The graham cracker pudding is to die for (but the cake was dry). The quality of everything else is good enough, but I m a return customer anyway, so 5 stars! Also for anyone wondering, during COVID-19, they have employees standing behind each food section that scoop your food for you. They wear a mask and gloves, then hand the food to you at the end of the section. So there s sometimes a bit of a line to get your food, but it s not that much of a hindrance. (But they will provide large servings unless you specifically ask for small servings.)
